For our existing family home renovation, we met with 2 other IDs prior to meeting Urban Home Design’s ID Una (Qianqian), which really helped highlight the extra effort that Una had put into our first consultation. Unlike other ID firms, we first received an email with some questions regarding our renovation plans before our first meeting was scheduled. With the answers provided, Una had already prepared 3 different layout proposals and a 3D of the new proposed living room layout presented to us during our first meeting. Una was the only ID out of the 3 we met to provide a drastically different layout from our original, which made the first consultation much more impressionable. Other IDs were conservative with the layout and kept to mostly the same as our previous layout, but the space planning that Una did was very different and truly a breath of fresh air which ultimately led us to engage her for this project. Throughout the numerous meetings, Una was also very receptive to ideas and would often provide suggestions and advice based on our requests. The huge array of choices in materials, like the wardrobe laminates and floor vinyls, made it a real headache for us to choose from, especially when everyone in the family had vastly different tastes. However, Una proactively selected a few to help narrow down our options, and all of it turned out beautiful in our home. She was very responsive throughout the actual renovation process which was very reassuring. Even though we made changes here and there throughout, she was also very accommodating and helpful! After moving in, we did spot some small workmanship issues but she was still very responsive and continues to follow-up with rectifying the issues and touching up defects. Overall, her work ethics and easygoing personality made our first major renovation experience a great one, and I trust that anyone who works with her would certainly appreciate her reliability and professionalism as well.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Gabriel from Forefront Interior for my 5-room HDB flat from a friend’s recommendation and we were thoroughly impressed with his work. From start to finish, Gabriel demonstrated an exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that every element of the design was meticulously planned and executed. His prompt responses to our queries and concerns were very much appreciated, making the entire process smooth and stress-free! We had some budget constraints and Gabriel went the extra mile to sift out items which we could potentially omit in the renovation process. We were assigned to Simon who helped us with all the coordination works and he was very prompt in his response as well. The overall workmanship and carpentry was of quality and this was also commented by some of our vendors when they came over for installation! 🤩 Not to mention, we have a super tight timeline to meet and Gabriel and his team managed to handover just in time. Overall, Gabriel's expertise and dedication with his team have transformed our flat into a cozy and functional living space. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking for a patient and detail-orientated designer.

Zi Nuo was recommended by my friend and now I highly recommend her for any interior design project. She transformed our space beyond our expectations with remarkable creativity and professionalism. From the initial consultation to the final touches, She demonstrated an exceptional ability to understand our vision and bring it to life. Her attention to detail, innovative ideas, and seamless execution were truly impressive. She managed to balance style and functionality perfectly, creating a space that is both beautiful and practical. Zi Nuo also responds incredibly quickly. She always immediately sent someone to resolve any issue even small ones.

I worked with ID Jerie on my 4rm resale flat. Decided on Jerie after meeting 7 other IDs as I felt she completely understood what I wanted in terms of style and functionality. It was easy for me to explain my ideas to her and she helped me elevate them too where possible. She was on the ball and handled everything well. There were some issues and delays along the way, but Jerie dealt with everything professionally and always gave her best. The quality of the work is also good, no complaints!

The entire process with Wei Hao from Key Concept was smooth and seamless! We came to him with our ideas and budget in mind, and he really understood and heard our requirements. He was later able to give us many good suggestions in order to achieve what we would like within our budget. The 3D drawing was also extremely helpful in letting us visualise the space. In addition, Wei Hao even gave us suggestions on furniture designs, which really helped us to make decisions faster and with confidence. Specifically, the carpentry, curved walls and limewash in our place are fantastic. The workmanship is great and we like it very much. Will highly recommend Wei Hao and Key Concept to our friends and family!

I recently engaged Mr Ronald Toh from Mr Designer Studio to renovate my new home, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the very start, Ronald demonstrated a high level of professionalism, guiding us through every step of the process, from planning and budgeting to implementation and even post-renovation services. Ronald’s extensive experience in the renovation field was evident throughout the project, particularly in his ability to manage the various sub-contractors—tilers, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, and painters—with remarkable efficiency. His management skills ensured that everything ran smoothly and on schedule, which greatly reduced the typical stress associated with renovations. One of the standout qualities Ronald brought to the project was his fantastic attitude. Even during moments when I was feeling frustrated about certain issues, Ronald remained calm, patient, and approachable. He consistently maintained a positive demeanor, never showing any signs of frustration, which was incredibly reassuring. His practical and creative ideas were invaluable, offering solutions that balanced both design and functionality. Despite being a busy man, Ronald was reasonably responsive, and I appreciated his honest and constructive feedback throughout the renovation. His ability to offer realistic insights was key to ensuring we made informed decisions. In the end, my wife and I are thoroughly satisfied with the outcome of the renovation. We are extremely happy we chose to work with Ronald over the nine other interior designers we had considered. His professionalism, experience, and positive approach made the entire process a much smoother and more enjoyable experience.

Organizing a small space can be tricky, and how to maximize my space is a challenge for me being a first time home owner. So I definitely needed an interior designer to help me relieve my stress since I’m not an organised person. Darren proposed solutions to meet my needs especially when I told him i have a lot of existing Muji boxes, drawers. He made several ways to minimize cost wastage and enhance my space. He also determine how to best incorporate the Muji boxes for storage, ensuring they fit well with my overall design. So he has helped me to maintain a stylish and organized interior while minimizing additional costs. Another note is that a positive relationship between an interior designer and their contractors can significantly impact the overall success of a project and the post renovation rectification were taken with care. When issues arise, he handles the rectification works swiftly and I believe he has good rapport with contractors. Hence It was a great partnership with Darren.
