Divine Dining Room Designs That Make The Most Sense For Condos

November 9, 2016

It is the place where you’ll bond with friends and family over hearty meals, so why not garnish your dining room for maximum comfort. If you’re worried that you’re condo isn’t quite apt to support a grand dining area, don’t fret – we’ve found nine divine dining spaces that work perfectly in condos.

1. The Z Residence by Nu Infinity
If your condo is edgy and cool, you’ll want to stay with the look for your dining area too. There are many ways to pump up the style factor – but the dining set often sets the tone. Try strong, dark, masculine materials like dark teak or oak tables and match it with less emotional hues like grey or navy blue. Round off the space with lighter walls and fashionable light pieces to contrast to the overall mood.

2. Andana @ D'Alpinia, Puchong by Matt Interior Design
With open layouts sans partitions or sections, you’ll have to make your own dining room. One of the easiest ways to separate and create a dining space is with a large dining table. Rectangular ones are best for wider spaces and to act as a divider between rooms; go with neutrals or wooden tones to help add warmth and cosy.

3. Kiaramas Danai (Mont Kiara) by Designers’ Home
Don’t forget to play with lighting to enhance your dining area. Try designer pendant lighting layered with lamps and recessed lights to add a relaxed feel and tender warmth through luminescence. In addition, choose brighter hued flooring and furniture to further enrich the atmosphere.

4. The Brezza by Blanc Designs Sdn Bhd
If your condo is washed in an otherwise neutral palette, consider featuring the dining area as an energizing focal point. Use bold colours with your dining furniture, feature attention grabbing lighting, and try adding flowers or coloured art for table pieces.

5. La Costa by Pocket Square
Create contrast with the rest of the adjacent space or within the dining section itself to present a modern, stylish look. It’s an easy one to pull off, simply go in the opposite direction of the surrounding colour scheme. Take for example these brazen white walls and flooring as it meets much darker furniture pieces, the result is pure elegance.

6. Tropicana Grande by Hoe & Yin Design Studio
The perfect contemporary dining room would look a little something like this – fresh, current and soaking in every bit of natural light! If your condo is privy to large windows (as well as an open layout), consider creating a dining space that faces one. It would make the prefect space for trendy dining sets that can be accented by warm walls and incandescent lighting.

7. Segambut by Surface R
Give your dining area a classy and elegant feel by choosing darker hues with straightforward furniture. This look never goes out of style and can be adapted for any type of home, even smaller condos. Keep it simple and sophisticated by choosing basic rectangular shapes for dining sets in dark earthy tones.

8. KL Sky Residences by X Two Concept
For dining areas that sit almost too close to a kitchen, it’s best to keep all tones complementary. For this beautiful Scandinavian-inspired dining room, note the white theme that is maintained in both areas, with bright hues all around. The table set, being a close match to an American White Oak tone, adds a wonderful warmth and balance to the overall crispy-clean look.

9. Parc Ville by Latitude Design
If your condo has been sectioned off in a dedicated dining room, feel free to have a little more fun with the décor. Work in an individual twist or play mix-and-match with the furniture as this pretty dining area has done. Note that your décor choice need not directly complement the interior of the adjacent area but it should keep with the overall theme of the condo.
