1. An Elegant Contemporary Home in Penang | RM150,000

We love how Vault Design Lab successfully pulled off a high-end look to this contemporary home with only RM150,000 renovation budget.

It features a dark grey kitchen with charcoal kitchen island paired with black stools and pendant lights. The grey theme continued in the living room where the grey walls match the sofa and rugs, while deep blue accents on the throw pillows and some tropical greenery introduce a dash of colour to the open concept living room.

3. A Colourful Kids-friendly Home in Penang | RM120,000

The homeowner of this 3-bedroom home in Penang chooses to fill their home with bold colours to allow their children to be raised in a home that radiates happiness.

To give the home a cheery atmosphere and a playful vibe, EMPT Studio furnished the space with custom built-in cabinetry and furniture that feature a contrasting colour palette. For example, in the living room, a combination of green and orange dining chairs matches the custom coffee table and the lounge chair perfectly. Meanwhile, a bright red throw pillow adds a pop of colour to the grey sofa.

4. A Modern Contemporary Home in Penang | RM130,000

With an RM130,000 renovation budget, Legno ID & Construction created a fresh vibe in this modern contemporary home. In the living room, the dark turquoise sofa and ottoman particularly stand out when paired with a beige loveseat. It is intentionally done to subdue the neutral colour of the room. The same can be said in the bedroom. Without realizing it, you appreciate the whitish background of the room because of the interfering turquoise colour of the bed frame.

5. A Cosy Apartment in Cheras | RM120,000

With an RM120,000 renovation budget, Interior+ Design created a warm and welcoming home with grey tone wall panelling that extends all the way to the ceiling. It complements the white tile floors and the grey sofa and dining chairs in the living room.

In the bedroom, the colours and elements also blend seamlessly; from the curtains to the wood textured flooring, the custom-built daybed and the custom headboard. It works well together with the white ceilings that create a relaxing atmosphere in the room.

7. An Ombre Home in Puchong | RM120,000

With an RM120,000 renovation budget, Archmosphere-ds created a contemporary apartment that is filled with eye-catching features!

Our favourite part of this home is the blue ombre effect found on the interior walls of the master bedroom that pairs well with the dark blue headboard. A "hidden" seating area with custom built-in cabinetry behind the mustard yellow L-shaped sofa also creates an eye-catching appeal to the living space.
