Located just a short walk from Lakeside MRT and overlooking the expansive greenery of Jurong Lake Gardens, the estate offers a quieter, more laid-back pace of living. With plenty of natural light and open views, it’s a setting that lends itself well to brighter, more spacious-looking interiors.
But as with any new BTO, the real question is: how do you make the most of your layout?
To help you get started, we’ve got interior designers to share 3D renders across different unit types at Lakeside View, to help you visualise what your home could look like. Feel free to steal some of these for your interior design mood board!
Type 1 2-room Flexi BTO flat floor plan for Lakeside View
The team at Dailyceed Design Studio takes on this 38 sqm 2-room Flexi BTO with a dark modern luxe approach for a bachelor pad, drawing inspiration from boutique retail shops and hotels.
The proposed design utilises mirrors for the TV feature wall and feature strip ceiling lights to make the space look bigger, drawing the eyes upwards to create the illusion of height.
An intimate dining setup at the corner of the living room is illuminated by a standing lamp, carefully curated to keep the design language cohesive. If you host often, consider fitting in an extendable table for more seating when you have guests over.
In the bedroom, full-height wardrobes are seamlessly integrated along one side. The use of dark wood, paired with soft backlighting behind the headboard, creates a more intimate, hotel-like atmosphere.
If you prefer the bedroom to be more private, think about installing sliding doors to partition the space when necessary.
To tie things together, the bathroom uses textured tiles, a stone-look vanity, and warm underlighting to give it a more elevated feel, while the glass shower screen helps maintain a sense of openness within the compact footprint.

Type 2 2-room Flexi BTO flat floor plan for Lakeside View
The Type 2 layout comes with an additional nook in between the bedroom and bathroom, with a longer kitchen that sits right next to the living area.
Dailyceed Design Studio imagined this 2-room Flexi BTO at Lakeside View for a single parent with a young, schooling child, balancing shared living with clearly defined personal zones.
The proposed design converts the additional nook into a child’s bedroom, with a loft-style bed freeing up space below for a study area. While building permanent loft structures isn’t allowed in HDB flats, this setup can be achieved by opting for ready-made loft beds from furniture brands like IKEA, which offer a similar space-saving effect without running afoul of regulations.

3-room BTO flat floor plan for Lakeside View
The team at PLOT envisioned this 3-room BTO flat at Lakeside View as a lighter, more playful take on the retro-eclectic theme, designed for a DINK couple who works from home often.
Warm wood tones are paired with soft neutrals and muted greens, while rattan textures, fluted panels, and curved forms give the space a subtle retro edge without feeling dated.
The layout leans into a sense of balance, particularly between the dining area and dry kitchen. Positioned side by side, the two zones mirror each other in scale and function, but are distinguished through lighting.
Each is anchored by its own pendant lamp — similar in presence, but different in shape — creating a quiet symmetry with just enough variation to keep things visually interesting.
PLOT suggests turning the spare bedroom into a dual-study setup, perfect for homeowners with WFH routines. Two built-in desks are separated by a central partition, giving each person their own workspace without taking up more room than necessary.
4-room BTO flat floor plan for Lakeside View
The 4-room BTO flats at Lakeside View have a dumbbell layout, with the living room sandwiched between two junior bedrooms. This kind of layout is rarely offered in newer BTO projects, and can offer a lot of flexibility for homeowners with different needs.
By: Dan & Co designed this 4-room BTO flat at Lakeside View with a DINK couple in mind, hacking down the segregated junior bedroom to create an expanded communal area for their cats to roam freely.
Built-in carpentry lines the living area, but instead of reading as bulky storage, it’s broken up with open niches and warm backlighting — giving it a more curated, almost gallery-like feel.
What we like is how seamlessly pet-friendly features are integrated into the design, such as built-in cubbies and openings, while vertical elements like the cat tower and wall-mounted steps double as functional features and visual accents. Rather than feeling like add-ons, these are treated as part of the overall design language.
The other junior bedroom was turned into a dedicated study, fitted with a height-adjustable desk and drawers at the back for storage, alongside wall-mounted shelves that double as climbing ledges for the cats.
Instead of going with built-ins for this room, By: Dan & Co suggests using loose furnishing so that it can be converted into a nursery or kid’s bedroom in the future if the family expands.
5-room BTO flat floor plan for Lakeside View
Twothree Design planned this 5-room BTO flat at Lakeside View with a young family in mind, prioritising comfort and ease of movement throughout the home — a direction that carries into the living area’s warm, resort-inspired palette of light wood and neutrals, with subtle curves to soften the overall look.
This same language extends into the kitchen, where clean cabinetry is paired with a kitchen peninsula that doubles as a casual dining spot. The transition between spaces feels seamless, helped along by consistent materials and warm under-cabinet lighting that keeps everything cohesive.
The master bedroom stands out with its textured feature wall and layered lighting, creating a hotel-like atmosphere that feels both restful and elevated.
Meanwhile, one of the junior bedrooms is adapted into a child-friendly space, with integrated storage cabinets and a study nook tucked neatly under an arched recess — a small detail that adds character while keeping the layout efficient.
Even the bathroom follows through with the same design intent, using wood-look finishes, layered lighting, and a fluted glass shower screen to prevent splashes without visually closing off the space.
