Design Ideas for All Upcoming BTOs in UrbanVille @ Woodlands

December 4, 2025

Time to envision your new home.

If you’re part of the lucky 1,785 households that secured a BTO unit at UrbanVille @ Woodlands, congratulations – your key collection date is 6 months away!

Given that it’s a stone’s throw away from major locations like Woodlands MRT, Causeway Point, and Woodlands Checkpoint, it’s no wonder that this estate saw high application rates during the August 2020 BTO exercise.

Couple that with plenty of pedestrian and cycling paths, greenery, and amenities, and you’ve got a bustling residential hub that has much to offer its residents.

At this point, you should have already begun planning your renovation by looking for design inspiration. But if you’re still unsure, don’t worry – because we've got interior design firms to share 3D renders of each unit type, to help you better envision your future home!

For a 2-room Flexi BTO flat in UrbanVille @ Woodlands:

For this 48 sqm 2-room Flexi BTO flat, the team at Darwin Interior envision a hotel-like bachelor(ette) pad that oozes quiet luxury.

To maximise the compact layout, they propose merging the bedroom and living area into a single, open suite, while segmenting off the flexible nook (a new-ish feature included in Type 2 2-room BTO units) to create a backlit walk-in wardrobe – all features you can find in a luxurious hotel room.

Additionally, they propose shifting the bathroom door (which was previously facing the household shelter) to lead into the walk-in wardrobe instead, thus creating a smooth movement flow throughout the entire space.

If you love soft, cute aesthetics, then perhaps the cream interior style (or 奶油风) is up your alley. It introduces softness and organic textures into the space, making your home feel less rigid or clinical.

This is exactly what The Enso Interior was inspired by when they imagined a 3-room BTO flat at UrbanVille @ Woodlands into a cosy abode filled with curved surfaces, rounded asymmetrical furniture, and different natural textures.

Despite being just 69 sqm, it boasts multiple spaces that allow homeowners to host multiple groups of people. That includes an island along the entryway, the living room, and a dining area with a pull-out table that ensures flexible space usage.

Additionally, they’ve managed to carve out a ‘walk-in wardrobe’ within the master bedroom without hacking or using the junior bedroom. We also love the raised platform that subtly separates the sleeping zone from the wardrobe area while creating a natural transition between the two areas.

For a 4-room BTO flat in UrbanVille @ Woodlands:

If you’re lucky enough to land a unit with a million-dollar vista (perhaps one that overlooks Johor Bahru?), consider creating a bay window nook to frame the view outside.

For this 4-room BTO flat in UrbanVille @ Woodlands, Decor 8 takes that concept further by crafting the nook with an asymmetrical, curvy frame that draws the eye while softening the look. It’s a unique take on the typical conventional, boxed-up ledge you typically see!

Complementing the amount of natural light from the view is a bright, creamy colour palette, with a glass-enclosed study that ensures privacy while keeping the space open (and avoiding that dreaded boxed-in feeling).

To prevent the space from looking overly flat or boring, Decor 8 introduces contrasts in the form of dark wood surfaces in the kitchen and soft, organic textures in the living room – all of which create a visually interesting that feels both cosy and relaxing.

For a 5-room BTO flat in UrbanVille @ Woodlands:

Warm, striking, and playful – this mid-century-inspired 5-room BTO flat imagined by Ace Interior Design is the perfect setting for a cosy family home.

Like the previous set of renders, this home features a semi-open study. But it has an additional benefit aside from helping the space feel open – it also allows the parents to work conducively while simultaneously keeping an eye on their little ones in the living room.

As parents typically require a lot more storage to store their children’s things, Ace Interior suggests turning one of the junior bedrooms into a play room furnished with a full-length cabinet and table.

Details like the bear-shaped pegboard and circular wardrobe cutout adds fun, interactive elements as well.

Beyond the playroom, the rest of the home maintains a focus on the family’s lifestyle needs and aesthetics. The open-concept-kitchen, decked in rich walnut tones and striking green surfaces, creates a vibrant space for the family to bond, while the bathroom features textured walls and sculpted curves to add a refined look.
