Here, the homeowner of this particular 2-room BTO flat chose to hack the wall separating the bedroom from the communal space.

With an extended space to work with, they chose to build a curved platform spanning the entire length of the house, connected to the full-length wardrobe that now sits in the designated living room.

The homeowners went with full tiling instead of vinyl overlays to match the raw, industrial look — a choice that typically increases renovation costs but gives the home a more durable finish and cohesive look.

Textured walls, concrete-look carpentry and dark wood accents continue to set the tone, while things are kept minimal in the dining area with slimline furniture and a built-in ledge for small decorative pieces, adding personality without breaking the calm, monochrome palette.
