Panasonic’s Newest Slot-in Fridges Fit Seamlessly into Any Kitchen

May 19, 2025

A first in the market.

Interior designers often say that the design of large appliances – like a fridge in the kitchen – can make or break the look of any given space. After all, you wouldn’t want to spend 5 figures on your renovation only to have it ‘ruined’ by your fridge jutting out like a sore thumb, do you?

Well, that’s definitely not a concern with Panasonic’s latest line of Slot-in fridges. They’re designed to fit snugly into your carpentry for a seamless silhouette, while having all the technologies and features homeowners love about Panasonic’s fridges!

Sleek, minimalist form factor

Sporting an uber-contemporary form factor, what truly makes the Slot-in range stand out is that it gives the illusion that the fridge is built into your kitchen cabinetry:

How is this possible? For one, it’s 60cm in depth, which is the standard depth of kitchen cabinets. In other words, unlike most fridges that are 65-70cm in depth, it won’t jut out at all.

Secondly, it has a ‘Zero Gap’ design whereby only 2cm and 0.4mm gaps are required at the top and either side for moving it into place, making it the perfect choice for homeowners who want a seamless look and feel.

Thoughtful design features for ease of use

And because it fits so snugly into your carpentry, special care had to be taken to ensure that surrounding carpentry doesn’t get in the way of it opening fully. To that end, the Slot-in range was designed with a special hinge that allows its double doors to be opened up to 120°.

On a practical level, this gives you full visibility of – and easy access to – all your groceries stored within, so you’ll be able to tell what’s running low/needs restocking with one look.

Speaking of easy access, you won’t have to worry about dead space with the Panasonic Slot-in range either. That’s because the compressor is located at the top and far back of the fridge – the area that’s hardest to reach (unless, of course, you’re Yao Ming) and hence usually left untouched.

Plus, because cold air sinks, a top mount compressor also helps to optimise freezing capacity for greater energy savings!

Other features we love:

  • Removable and washable parts for better hygiene
  • Automatic ice maker for cold drinks in Singapore’s hot weather

Technologies to keep your groceries fresh for longer

Needless to say, this new innovative line still retains all the technologies homeowners in Singapore love about Panasonic’s fridges.

If you’re new to Panasonic, these include:

  • Prime Fresh -3ºC soft-freezing: no thawing required, great for working adults who prefer to cook after returning from work
  • Prime Freeze: quick freezing that seals in flavour of meat by preventing dripping
  • Ag+ technology: eliminates odours and bacteria
  • Surround cooling airflow: maintains optimal freshness of produce by reducing dryness and over-cooling
