Project Details
Sitting in between two houses, and being deprived from natural lighting for so many years, the home owner only wished for more daylight in her new home and a bigger, safer space for her retirement days. With that in mind, we introduced two major elements in the house; skylight and a lighter interior colour palette. Extension was done to provide a spacious yet well ventilated internal environment, and space for more storage, organization & functionality. The bathroom was also relocated for better ventilation and lighting. The challenge was to combine the old with the new, creating a flawless transition from the old (front of house) to the new elements (back of house), but with tasteful design and an eye for detail, we managed to deliver a warm, cosy and relaxing new home for the home owner's retirement.Sitting in between two houses, and being deprived from natural lighting for so many years, the home owner only wished for more daylight in her new home and a bigger, safer space for her retirement days.
