Nestled within Park Regent, The Jade Pavilion is a thoughtfully curated retirement sanctuary for a loving couple and their cherished fur baby, Minnie. Having downsized from a larger home, the design celebrates the couple’s rich personal history while embracing the ease and elegance of modern condominium living. The interior blends modern contemporary sensibilities with subtle oriental influences — a tribute to the owners’ lifelong collection of meaningful artifacts gathered from their travels. From the private lift lobby, guests are welcomed by a striking jade green sideboard with traditional Chinese motifs, a terracotta soldier-and-horse figurine, and a meticulously crafted 3D model of the couple’s former Peranakan-style shophouse — each piece a reflection of memory, heritage, and identity. Within the home, timeless elements such as a repurposed Chinese drum coffee table are harmoniously set against a palette of grey marble flooring, black trims, and rose gold accents. Intentional placement of ambient lighting enhances the sense of calm and understated luxury throughout the space. In the reimagined kitchen area, a bespoke jade green tiled island with dual-access drawers takes center stage. Designed to foster shared moments, this feature allows two users to work simultaneously — ideal for lively family cooking sessions with their children and grandchildren. Adjacent to the dry kitchen, a cozy dining corner houses a coffee and minibar counter with a wine fridge and full-height display shelves, perfect for entertaining and showcasing more of their treasured keepsakes.
