IQI Concept is a youthful and energetic design firm that always puts the client first. Qanvast: How did your ID company come about?

IQI: Our founder, Daniel Ho, was involved in property investment. He purchased a condo and then decided to renovate on his own. His designs piqued their interest and they asked him to handle their renovation as well! After discovering his hidden talent, he thought of opening up an interior firm and that was how IQI Concept was birthed. Today, we are a 30-man strong team.

Qanvast: What is the culture in your company?

IQI: Our team is made of a bunch of energertic and creative spirits – we work hard and play hard, we’re more than just colleagues, fostering great relationships and bonds with one another through weekly fun activities such as badminton.

We’re also trained to listen and provide a good followup service to our customers.

Qanvast: Where do you get your design inspirations?

IQI: Magazines, websites and even speak to industry experts but our main source of inspiration comes largely from homeowners themselves. Each homeowner would have a different set of requirements and it’s always a challenge to execute the preferences along with their requirements. We learnt a lot from handling such situations.

Qanvast: What would be your advice to homeowners?

IQI: Homeowners should meet up with interior designers and learn what each firm has to offer.
