Koleksi Malaya is a go-to for timeless goods. The shop is designed to make you feel like you're walking into an old kopitiam where vintage items such as old kopitiam tables and chairs, old kopitiam cups and saucers with their trademark green floral patterns, vintage televisions, radios,display cabinets, and antique cameras are neatly displayed. While these goods were previously used, they have been lovingly restored and cleaned to their once-original condition.
The owner is a local treasure hunter with a knack for finding unexpected pieces from his travels. These include collectibles such as old Coca-Cola bottles, tools, toys, clocks, and so on and sell or display them at this shop. Syarikat Tai Fatt Heng serves as an excellent destination for discovering vintage Chinese-inspired kitchen goods.
For instance, you can buy plain ceramic plates (traditionally used in Malaysian Chinese families) with blue and white patterns around the edges, or the ones with a cockerel motif, hibiscus, or the tea rose. Located inside Bangsar Village II shopping mall, TriBeCa Artisan is a great place to shop if you want to add some retro charm to your home. 8. Amcorp Mall Weekend Flea Market - a mix of everything
Amcorp Mall is a haven for shopping, not just for vintage and antique furniture or decor but also for other items in general. There are numerous shops in the mall that specialise in old coins, stamps, vintage music records, classic toys, jewellery, and even comic books. Among the list of antique and vintage furniture shops available at the mall are Teh Collectibles, Old and Interesting, and Victorian Rose. However, if you want to visit during the week, check the opening hours, as many shops are typically closed during the week.
While the mall is mostly quiet during the week, it comes alive during the weekend flea market. Located on the lower ground and ground floors, there will be rows of stalls selling an assortment of interesting finds, including sterling flatware, jewellery, glassware, ceramics, tableware, art, furniture, and lighting.
