Project Details

“Organic curves breathe life into space.” Embracing the elegance of curves, Paperworks sculpt spaces where natural light flows effortlessly, illuminating every contour and creating harmony between form and light. In the graceful curve forms, Paperworks find the beauty of nature mirrored, where every bend captures the essence of the softness of daylight and windows offer landscape views to patients at this dental clinic. The effective spatial planning hinges on the clear distinction between public and private areas. The public spaces, such as the reception, lounge area and corridor, designed to foster openness and fluidity. The layout is designed to establish a major pathway that flows seamlessly from the entrance to the end of the space. This pathway is positioned alongside existing full-length windows to take advantage of natural light. By doing so, daylight is maximized not only in the public areas, but also in the adjacent surgery rooms, enhancing the overall ambiance, functionality and sustainability of the space. This approach supports a comfortable and efficient environment for both visitors and staff. “Through setting the pathway, we invited the natural light to the interior spaces.” The frosted glass partitions are further sculpted with gradient effect in surgery rooms. The rooms are arranged in a line on the landscape windows side of the clinic, offering the dentist an overview of the on-going treatments, while glass partitions set between treatment and corridor form divisions. More private rooms, such as X-ray, sterilisation, pantry and model-rooms are placed inside closed spaces “In designing the interior spaces, our strategy was primarily focused on simplicity and avoidance of complex presentation.”. To achieve a timeless and tranquil yet luxurious interior, Paperworks opted for a monochrome color palette and reflective materials throughout the clinic. The walls are painted in signature branding grey, carefully chosen to match the tone of the floor tiles. This creates a seamless and continuous color transition from floor to wall, resulting in a cohesive and harmonious backdrop that reinforces the clinic’s brand identity. Incorporating materials and textures that imitate the tactile qualities of nature can further elevate the sense of luxury, adding a rich and organic feel to the space. Smooth and reflective materials, such as polished marble counter top, hairline stainless steel feature walls and curved glass screen, are contributing to a sense of modern sophistication and luxury. The stone spray tiles textured wall and organic shaped counter, are creating a depth and visual interest to the space. This design choice enhances the sense of unity within the space, making it feel more cleanliness and lightness in a space, which in turn helps visitors and staff feel more comfortable. Additionally, these elements can create a modern and sophisticated image that reinforces a sense of professionalism and attention to detail of their branding. “The beauty of interior design lies in the balance of organic forms with a touch of luxury.” A series of monochrome materials and organic forms transform the dental clinic into a space that inspire calmness and serenity while maintaining a sense of professionalism and understated luxury. This design approach creates a luminous environment that feels both inviting and refined, enhancing the overall patient experience.
