We got to know the design company through the Home by Hitched event earlier this year and decided to engage them for our home renovation. Initially, communication was smooth, and discussions progressed well. However, problems began during the 3D design phase, where we have to repeatedly follow up to review and confirm the designs. The process lacked consistency each time the color was changed on the TV and dining cabinet. This is affected the overall design, resulting in confusion. Additionally, it took long for us to receive the revised 3D renderings whenever a color change was needed. Our assigned interior designer, Logan, appeared to lack experience in this field. He provided unrealistic timelines, and we constantly had to chase him in order to stay on schedule for our planned move-in date. His project management was poor and caused ongoing frustration. From the beginning of the renovation, Logan failed to take proper responsibility to ensure the site was adequately prepared. Key areas of the flooring in both the common bedroom and master bedroom were not properly protected, resulting in significant damage and considerable disappointment. We had to step in and source our own materials, such as hard cardboard, to cover the bathroom flooring. We also had to manually protect the mirrors, basin taps, and rain shower, as the electrician did not take necessary precautions to safeguard our existing fixtures. Logan's involvement at the site was minimal—he would briefly show up and then leave, often claiming that work had been completed when it clearly was not. For example, he told us that the built-in carpentry had been touched up, but upon inspection, many areas were still unfinished. This level of service is completely unacceptable from a consumer standpoint. The most disappointing part of the renovation was the murphy bed. The final product was far from what we expected. We were never shown any actual images of the product before production, and once installed, the bed's mechanism awkwardly surrounded the sleeping area in a way that felt outdated and misaligned with current design standards. Logan claimed they had done similar designs for past clients, but clearly, this was not executed properly. Shockingly, he even pushed the responsibility to the carpenter and asked them to liaise with a vendor we recommended to find an alternative solution. From what we understand, the carpenter is also not an expert in the murphy bed structure. We are still waiting for this issue to be resolved. This entire experience has been a hard lesson for us—we have learned that custom-built solutions require experienced and responsible professionals. Unfortunately, Logan and this company did not meet that standard. This will be the first and last time we engage this designer. Due to the poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and overall unprofessionalism, we cannot recommend this company for future renovation projects.

She even planned our reno schedule for us throughout the whole reno. Handover was on time according to her planned schedule. Went to most of the IDs and they quoted us way above our budget but Liyi managed to give us the same items we wanted but according to our budget👍🏻 Thank you Liyi for helping us throughout our renovation process! I engaged Levin Lee from Styleworkz Studio Interior for my home renovation. There were a number of things I appreciated—The project was completed on time and within the agreed budget, which was appreciated given how often renovations face delays or cost overruns. He was responsive and open to feedback, making adjustments when needed. For the scope of work involved, I found the pricing to be reasonable and offered good value. Overall, a decent and straightforward experience for anyone seeking timely delivery and fair pricing.

I am very pleased to have engaged Steven from Decor 8 Interior Design. Once I stepped into his showroom and met him personally, I knew from the get go that this was the designer I was looking for. He is very detailed, careful and listens with an open mind regarding my renovation requirements. Overall the design and renovation process was smooth, he also touched up some minor defects which went on for the renovation. Well, recommending him definitely to all my family and friends

This is our first renovation and we're glad to have found Cindy at Yang's Inspiration. She’s always helpful and patient throughout the whole process. One thing we really appreciated was how she never made a fuss when we needed to make changes or pointed out issues, but just handled it smoothly. She also helped us stay on track with both our budget and timeline, which made everything way less stressful. If you’re looking for someone reliable, easygoing, and great at what she does, she’s the one!

My dad fell ill and I needed to urgently build a room with an en-suite toilet at my family home while he is still in hospital. Timing was tight and I only had two weeks before he is discharged. I contacted Tommy, the boss of Dot's N Tot's, who i got acquainted with from the great work he did with my new home 3 years ago. He introduced me to Keith and Keith has done magic to ensure all the works were completed within 2 weeks, constantly also giving advice on how to save costs, or improve the quality of living of my dad. His responses were sometimes faster and more precise than ChatGPT! Very recommended. Look for Keith! :)

Kavin Lee Metamorph Design was referred to me by a friend who has previously used his services. For my new condo , I engaged Kavin for the design and construction of a loft floor in the living hall with double volume . The work of kavin was excellent, he designed according to our requirements and also gave alternatives and suggestion to improve the design. He managed to complete the work within the original schedule and workmanship was good, follow-up for rectification work was prompt . I was particularly pleased with his suggestion to add a floor- to -ceiling mirror in the wall to enhance the space in the living room . The effect is good . I highly recommend kavin to anyone who is looking for ID services .

Throughout the renovation, Jerry conducted regular site inspections and kept us well-informed of the progress. The quality of workmanship, especially the carpentry, was outstanding, and the entire renovation was completed both on schedule and within budget. The service excellence extended beyond just the design aspects, encompassing the entire renovation journey. We are thoroughly satisfied with the final design as it perfectly meets our requirements. Jerry has proven himself to be a true interior design professional who delivered excellent results, and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice.

We had a wonderful experience with Vanguard Constructs! Aaron walked us through in detail on the designs we want, the practicality and feasibility of it and the maintenance that it entails. He also provided useful suggestions and improvisations that improved our home design and process. His knowledge is impeccable and it helped us make informed decisions for our home and it turned out perfect!

Vincent from supreme design group approach me through a phone call and asked me on the details and i told him we need to renovate our kitchen and 2 toilets and honestly, the results exceeded our expectations. From the start to the end, vincent really took the time to understand our needs and gave great suggestions we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. Even when there is problem arise, vincent will listen and advise us on the best solution. The whole process was smooth sailing and we have great communication with each other and good thing is vincent always keep updating us on the update on the renovation. So far, we have yet to see the completion of the renovation, but as of now, we really satisfied on how is it currently and we cant wait on the day we move in. My wife and I talked to about 10ish ID meetups but decided on Megan. I think what struck me the most (leading to our final decision) was that Megan was very straightforward and frank. No skirting around, she'll be very upfront to tell you if something was not practical/not sensible, and I really appreciated the candour. She's also incredibly organised and proactive. Throughout the process she kept us very much on our toes, reminding us to decide on various aspects of the renovations, arrange for lighting consults etc. I have a friend who is doing renovations and poor dude has to chase the ID to do things so when I think about that friend I always thank goodness that we have a Megan. Finally, her follow through. Every question is promptly answered, every outstanding item addressed. Even during handover she'd help us look out for defects and poke her contractors to help fix. Technically she could have closed one eye but didn't; everything must do swee swee one. If you want a ID who puts her pride and love in her work, look for Megan. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
