The Qanvast Guarantee protection is exclusive to homeowners who engage one of our recommended Contracting Service Providers, through our website or phone app. Should the Contracting Service Provider breach a contract, become uncontactable or insolvent, you can claim 50% of the contract value, up to S$50,000, whichever is lower.

b)Termination or breach of Contract initiated by a homeowner
c)Homeowner’s refusal to accept services of Contracting Service Provider’s appointed agents or independent contractors
Qanvast will make a maximum of four payouts, up to S$100,000 in aggregate, per year.

When does the Qanvast Guarantee start?
The Qanvast Guarantee is applicable only for recommendations made by Qanvast starting from September 1, 2016. Homeowners who contact the firms directly will not be eligible.

What should I do before I make a claim?
Contact the Contracting Service Provider’s managers to notify them of your complaint and try to resolve it with them directly. Most of the time, they can resolve the issue by assigning a replacement Contracting Service Provider.
However, if the absconded Contracting Service Provider is a sole proprietorship, and you’re unable to come to a resolution, read through the Qanvast Guarantee Terms and Conditions to see if you are covered.
If eligible, compile as much evidence as possible to submit with your claim. You’ll need some identification details of both yourself and the Contracting Service Provider, along with evidence for your claim.
How do I submit my claim?
Download the claim form here and email to us with the relevant documents attached. All claims are subject to Qanvast Guarantee Terms and Conditions.
Please note that this is a FAQ; it is not exhaustive and does not replace the Qanvast Guarantee Terms and Conditions which will prevail over this FAQ.
