Firstly, I’d like to thank Kelvin and Louise for the awesome creation, fulfilling our dream house design. Not only was the price reasonable, it matched what was designed to reality. What was a simple plain house was skilfully transformed into a piece of art. Queries and defects throughout the whole process was replied and acted upon promptly despite the covid situation. Aside from the rare misinpretation of our intent, Kelvin was able to handle all the questions we had with tact making the experience a seamless and at the same time, enjoyable. We really love the black design that Kelvin specialises in. Till this date, it’s a tremendous joy and comforting feeling whenever we walk into our house, soaking in the tad envious views of our neighbours. Even though the house was handed over, we had continuous follow up for any defects or issues we faced till date. Kelvin and Louise, you guys were awesome. I’ll strongly recommend people purchasing a new house to approach you guys because I know for a fact, it’ll be an amazing journey during this process, just like we had.

We compare a few IDs company before we decide to engage kelvin and louise , first meeting really give us a deep impression I was really impressed with Kelvin ideas , we feel he is very experience and he understands what we want for the design and colours for our first home , Kelvin also suggested to do lime wash instead of a feature wall which is my favourite part of the house . Kelvin was able to deliver the design and the colours matching that we wanted . Project management was great as kelvin and louise provide daily updates as both of us are working in . We encountered some issues with the aircon trunking which kelvin resolved within a day which is very impressive . After sales service was great , within a day or 2 kelvin wii send the contractor to rectify some small issues . Highly recommend to anyone who is looking IDs to reno your dream home .

Kelvin was recommended to us by a very good friend who's an interior/architecture photographer. Out of the myriad of designers that he shoots for, Kelvin was recommended to us based on the quality of his work and the similarity of our design tastes. It was a good experience working with Kelvin - he's professional, responsive, provides good ideas and takes action to rectify any issues when they arise. He listens to what we have in mind for our place before giving his input and discussing how to improve certain features/designs. Kelvin didn't have the luxury of time to finish our project - the short timeframe he was given for the amount of work that had to be done and the COVID restrictions that were going on at that time made it even more challenging. The project was delivered later than the planned delivery date but it was outside of his control, due to delays from suppliers etc. Overall, we were very happy working with Kelvin and would recommend him. The only issue we had during the whole process was that some of his subcontractor's work didn't live up to our expectations. However, when they were brought to Kelvin's attention, he made sure that the issues were rectified, which speaks volumes of his commitment to delivering a high standard of quality to his customers, which we greatly appreciate.

We are first time home owner and new to renovation. We decided to engage The Local Project after seeing my friend house that was done by Kelvin. We informed Kelvin on the constraint and limitations of design due to Feng Shui requirements. To our surprise, Kelvin is able to accommodate to our limitation and provide us alternative ideas and advise. He also makes the effort to understand our requirements and goes extra mile to enhance the key features of our house. Throughout the whole process, communication was smooth. Kelvin also provides advice on furniture’s theme that would suit the design of the house. Lastly, the workmanship was fantastic. Would highly recommend The Local Project.

We contacted a list of IDs before settling with Alicia, who was introduced to us by a relative and who had a great experience with Alicia in their house renovation previously. Alicia was easy to talk to, and we felt comfortable speaking to her, and to trust her with the renovation for our new home. Alicia provided valuable insights and ideas during our renovation journey. Everything went smoothly and even though there were minor hiccups or defects, Alicia has never shy-ed away from it and immediately contacted her contractors to rectify the issues ASAP. She has remained contactable and responsive even after our renovation has completed. Thank you Alicia for making our home a cosy and comfortable place for us to stay!

We met seven IDs before we met Alicia after a friend suggested her, and it felt right from the moment we started our conversation regarding how to renovate and design our new BTO flat. She had great ideas but was never pushy about them, and always willing to make things happen for us even though it may not be easy. We wanted a kitchen island but also a dry pantry area for our open concept kitchen, but wasn't hopeful after several IDs said our kitchen is too small for both. However, Alicia was sure it could be done and we ended up with a beautiful kitchen that we really love. Alicia always had great recommendations when we asked for her thoughts, and at other times when she felt something could be done better in terms of renovation works or design, she made great decisions too. Where possible, she always made adjustments to the works if we wanted something changed. While our renovation works happened during Phase 2(HA) and Malaysia's lockdown, there wasn't a super long delay as we had been dreading, and everything was done in less than 3 months. She was always readily available when we needed to communicate about the works and gave us good updates. Her follow-up service after we moved in was also impeccable. While we budgeted 30k for this renovation, we ended up spending roughly 38k for the works. However, we felt the price was justifiable for the quality of work and service we received. All in all, we would definitely recommend her to our friends and family for future projects.

Thank you Kelvin for the beautiful house! Initially thelocalproject wasn’t our first choice due to our budget constraint but decided to give them a go as we clicked instantly with kelvin and he is able to get our idea without us explaining much. Kelvin and his team are very helpful in helping us to achieve the house that we wanted, way further than what we actually expected. Kelvin was also very prompt in his delivery and replies which is definitely one of the key factors that we are looking at as we did our reno during covid period where there’s a lack of workers in the industry. My spouse and I are thankful to have engaged The Local Project to renovate our resale 5 room flat. From designing all the way to the quality of workmanship is really impressive. Kelvin from The Local Project has been very patient and responsive; he listens to our requests and gives us suggestions to consider. He provides updates on the renovation progress, regularly comes onsite, rectify things promptly and responsively. Their aftersales service is very responsive too. Tough time to start renovation during the pandemic period. Greatly appreciate Alicia’s effort in coordinating and completing the project by our dateline despite facing issues like manpower shortage etc. We actually had our own ideas on the design and colour theme we wanted. Alicia had provided advises and suggestions to cater to our needs. Changes / rectifications requested was promptly responded. Overall experience was good.

I would like to share my good experience and complement in The Local Project Pte Ltd 's project management skills in designing our unique dream home! During renovation stage, he paid a lot of attention meticulously to details and is able to execute flawlessly on what we had planned and discussed. What sets them apart from other firms is that they are able to accommodate to our request, able to work within our budget with no hidden cost and was 2 weeks ahead of schedule in handing over our home.
