On our first meeting without any obligation or commitment, Aaron brought us to view a home(a distance away)which was recently completed upon our request with no hesitation. That left an impression on us. We decided to engage CHI after several research and we went with Phelix. He is patience, detail orientated and innovative. Phelix took time to understand our style, needs and budget creating a space that is both functional and beautiful. He assisted us with coordinating purchases including air conditioners, fittings etc. and quite accommodating to our requests. His eye for detail, ability to blend in colours, textures and lighting transformed our home that exceed our expectations. One more thing, CHI is an honest establishment. They refunded us the excess payment without us noticing it. Upon living in the home for 2 months, we contacted Phelix to fix some minor issue and he got it done without fuss. As part of the initial research process, I reached out to Comfort Home Interior and Aaron got in touch with me to understand what I had in mind and provided a quotation. The quotation was transparent and within my budget and I decided to go with them. Thereafter, the project was assigned to Phelix and Elvina. As a new homeowner, they were very patient and guided me through the renovation process. It's important to find an ID who you can vibe with, listens and understands want you want and provide suggestions when you are unsure. They shared a detailed timeline and kept me up to date with the renovation process. They were professional, communicative and very easy to work with. I am impressed with the workmanship and how my home has turned out. Even after the project has completed, their after service support is commendable. I can always count on them if I need any help with repairs. Thanks Aaron, Phelix and Elvina for making my house my home 🙂

My Wife and I wanted to do a Japanese Machiya style design for our home and we had went around to many different IDs who just gave us a template scandinavian / japandi design instead despite the different references we had given. We first heard about Comfort Home Interior by a friend of ours who had a really good experience with them. We were introduced to Aaron, Phelix and Natasha who took their time to understand our requirements. Phelix and Natasha researched our design requirements in depth. They even gave us many other suggestions to improve our original design further and we were really impressed! We were also pleased to find out that Comfort Home Interior also does their own carpentry in house. The carpenters worked very closely with the Phelix and Natasha. As a result, their carpentry was spot on and 99% identical to the 3D animation we were given. One challenging area was the Japanese style shoji doors for our house. These are not commonly done in Singapore and we had a total of 12 such doors for our house which were of different size. The sliding doors interlocked and fit the doorways perfectly. The look of the doors were also exactly what we wanted and even came with replaceable wood lattices which we could remove to customise the shoji papers as and when we required. In terms of project management, Natasha expertly managed the schedule, liaised with the various contractors and actively listened to our feedback. As we had a hectic work schedule during the time of the renovation, we did not had the time to actively keep an eye on the schedule. Natasha was actually the one who was driving the whole project. She actively communicated with us to inform us of the next steps and we never had to wonder what needed to be done next. The entire experience was very smooth sailing and pleasant. The whole project was also done within our cost expectations. To our surprise, despite doing their own carpentry in house and not outsourcing overseas like many of the other firms, Comfort Home Interior was equally competitive and in some cases more cost effective than other firms. To many, renovation is a stressful experience, but we can say that with Aaron, Phelix and Natasha, it was instead a highly enjoyable one which we slowly witnessed our home materalize. We wholeheartedly recommend their service to anyone who is looking for build their next home!

For our home, we engaged Comfort Home Reno to completely redo an old 5-room resale flat. This involved major structural works including hacking, building, touch-up and installations. Throughout the process, we found them to be a trustworthy team who delivered consistent quality from planning, revision, execution to rectification. 1. Partnership: Comfort Home works hard to meet specific requests and vision(s), and treats clients’ homes as their own. During our renovation process, my husband and I experienced patience in handling requests and revisions. As homeowners, we are both very hands-on – Comfort Home well-delivered in their attention to detail and ability to carry out rectification works. In an industry with other scam companies, shady IDs and contractors, Comfort Home’s team of people are ethical and hardworking. It was very rewarding working with them to bring our home to life. 2. Practices: Comfort Home employs transparent and constructive processes in their renovation process. Our project manager brought us to showrooms and factories to look at full-sized laminate pieces; this allowed us to select the carpentry colour more accurately, rather than decide based on small samples. We were also accompanied to tile showrooms and furniture shops to select the right pieces that will be accurate for the aesthetic. Before painting, we were sent photos of the new cans of paints selected in our home, and were also encouraged to go to the house at key checkpoints to ensure that progress and ‘invisible’ works were visible to us and were of actual quality paid for. The team's grounded practices are evident in their working relationships with their foreign workers and sub-cons. This is not a given in the industry in Singapore. They treat their foreign workers with respect, and it has ripple effect in the quality of work delivered on the ground. The project managers, bosses and sub-cons work together to complete clients’ projects. 3. Pricing (+ quality): We did extensive comparison of quotations across ID companies and contractors (like super detailed Excel-kind), and found Comfort Home’s quotation to be most value-for-money. A tip for homeowners is to not just see lump sums and total costs, but to break down and look at unit cost. Comfort Home provided us with quality finishing without hidden markups during our reno. Upon completion and inspection, we received interior laminates (not white laminates that will yellow over time), solid plywood wood for carpentry (not compressed wood), good quality hinges and drawer runners. So far, we have lived in our new home for more than a year and have been satisfied with the liveability and quality of work installed in our home. --- Overall, we had such a good experience in our reno process that we were a bit sad when it ended (crazy, right?). To the team at Comfort Home, thanks for the hard work and we’d like to encourage all of you to keep going and doing the right thing. Chanced upon Comfort Home Renovation’s (CHR for short moving forward) Instagram a couple years back, think in Oct 2017 and has been an avid follower since – CHR is a new start-up then. I like how the account is so informative & beneficial specifically for first-time home owners like us. Paige, the unsung hero behind CHR Instagram actively educate her followers on various home renovation tips. I vividly remember a couple of igstories that struck out to me the most was – “how to tell apart from the different woods used in carpentry works” or “are you paying too much for your renovation”. There she showed us how to differentiate solid wood, plywood etc. & for instance, if your electrician is charging you excessively for a simple electric work. Literally out there to help educate people like us. So, if you are well-versed in the construction/ renovation department then lucky you! Fast forward from CHR enlightening Instagram, Aug 2019 saw us arranging for our first meet up with Paige & Aaron in their beautiful home office to view their workmanship & to discuss on the amount of works we intended to do. We then met up a couple more times to finalise on the overall designs, carpentry outlines, electrical points, fan points, lighting points & then some. Paige also took us to a few laminate factories as well as tile factories to select our ideal layers & has given us useful insights when it comes to selections. One thing which puts CHR above the rest (at least in my eyes) is their value-added service – Johor day trip; where we get to view & purchase various fans, lights & furniture. If it wasn’t for this added service, we would have settle for convenience, get them locally & likely been overcharged! Ultimately, you just want to get more bang outta your buck! Also, for someone who doesn’t know how to shop on Taobao, Paige has offered to guide us on how to navigate, how to ship & how to communicate with the sellers. She then helped us with the rest of the communication with the forwarder in arranging for sea freight & deliveries. Like us, those who holds a day job usually couldn’t be around to receive their deliverables during the office hours but fret not! Paige has so very kindly extended her helping hand to ensure our deliveries are met. Our renovation works commenced on Sep 2019 & was officially handed over to us on Dec 2019, just in time for throwing Christmas & Chinese New Year gatherings! We have given ourselves one month to settle in & to spot for areas of improvement, if any. After-sales service has been effortless as well; things which needed rectification were professionally arranged & handled. Paige & Aaron has been nothing but efficient when it comes to communication. After reading so many renovation horror stories online, we are extremely glad that our experience with CHR has been smooth, painless & fuss-free! Highly recommend their service!
