Got to know about them through a Facebook promotion. Not so flexible in meeting, must go to their office then can meet up. So we went their office, spent a long time on the explanation of the concept, theme and design ideas on the floor plan. Showed me all the samples on-site. Not many choices as their showroom quite small. And there was no follow up from Aderline Tang after that. Total radio silence. Friendly but not sincere. 2h wasted.

I engaged Carpenters ID and was assigned to Stephen 🙏 Stephen was very kind and engaged with us throughout the whole process from onsite consult to 3D Design. Stephen also advised us in many areas that helped us come to a mutual agreement. He has been professional, constructive and remained positive to changes the whole time. Stephen also shared his recommendations for our home project and provide us samples for us to view from home.

I had a very pleasant experience engaging Stephen for my carpentry works. As this was my first time installing a kitchen island and also my first time working with an outsourced carpenter outside of my interior designer, I had many questions and concerns. Stephen was extremely patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. He took the time to clearly explain the different design options, materials, and practical considerations, making sure I fully understood before proceeding. His explanations were easy to follow, which gave me a lot of confidence in the decisions made. I really appreciate his professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to adjust and advise based on my needs. The overall experience was smooth and reassuring, especially for a first-timer like myself. Would definitely recommend Stephen to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable carpenter.

Cecilia is the most efficient and creative ID! We had quite a number of unconventional requests and she managed to deliver with speed and precision. We will definitely recommend her to our friends for their renovation journeys!

My husband and I are extremely thankful that we had encountered NONE of those horror reno stories we often hear about. In fact, we have nothing but praises for Nic and Cecilia for making our home reno process such a breeze! As first time homeowners, it was a long and tedious hunt trying to find an ID who understood what we wanted/needed for our home. We met up with 13 different IDs and contractors(something always felt a bit off after each meeting) but the moment we concluded our first discussion with Nic and Cecilia, we knew we found the IDs for our home! (We were keeping our fingers and toes crossed that the quotation would not exceed our budget by a crazy amount!) Nic and Cecilia really listened and paid attention to what we were looking for in our home and they came up with many suggestions which were not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical and functional for us as the users. Nic did an incredibly awesome job in helping us keep to the reno timeline and liaising with external vendors (for our furniture/electrical appliances etc) to ensure everything was fuss free and smooth. He kept us constantly updated through our WhatsApp group chat and that really gave us a peace of mind and confidence that our reno was going smoothly. Any queries or doubts we had would also be promptly replied to even after his working hours. On-site supervision and project runs were also done by Nic and we can’t be more grateful to him for being our eyes and ears on-site especially on days when we couldn’t be there. Friends and family who have been over to our home have nothing but compliments for the end product. Cosy, classy, timeless, practical were often what were used to describe our home! In fact, some have even asked for Nic and Cecilia’s contacts and have also gone on to entrust their upcoming BTOs under their supervision. My husband and I are truly glad we persevered on and found the perfect IDs for our home. We love coming back to our own space which feels like us and it’s only been made possible thanks to Nic and Cecilia. We would highly recommend Nic and Cecilia to anyone who wants innovative and fresh yet practical ideas for their home because you know you would have your dream home come to life under their expertise!

After shortlisting several ID, we decided on Carpenters as ID Vivian Gong and ID Nick Chan provided us with a sense of commitment and confidence. Vivian and Nic went extra miles to show us 3D model drawing of our house on our second meeting before we had even confirm their service. He’s sharp in understanding what we envisioned and patient in explaining the details, which really helped me feel confident in the decisions we made together. Review for Nic – Interior Designer This review has been long overdue — almost a year since the completion of my home renovation — but I believe it’s only fair to write it now, after living in the space and seeing how things have held up, including one final rectification visit Nic made recently. Throughout the renovation process, Nic demonstrated a great deal of dedication and painstaking effort in managing and executing the project. From design conceptualization to handover, it was clear he took pride in his work and paid close attention to detail. While there were a few inevitable hiccups along the way — including some disagreements and areas that proved difficult or impossible to rectify fully — I appreciate that Nic remained professional throughout. He always took the time to listen to concerns, responded with sincerity, and made every effort to address issues, often offering apologies where due. Even after all this time, Nic was willing to make a final trip back to resolve outstanding rectifications — a testament to his responsibility and after-sales service. Thank you, Nic, for your commitment, and for journeying through this renovation with us.

We met with a few interior designers and received several quotations, and Cecilia's was actually the most expensive. However, we decided to go ahead with her as she came highly recommended through word of mouth. Her experience and the positive feedback from her previous clients, especially on workmanship and responsibility, gave us the confidence to proceed. Throughout the renovation process, we really appreciated Cecilia’s responsiveness and dedication. Whenever we brought up any issues, she was quick to address them. One instance that stood out was the feature wall — the lines weren’t coloured properly by her workers, and instead of brushing it off, Cecilia personally spent the entire day correcting it to make sure it looked just right before the handover. That level of commitment meant a lot to us. As a bonus, we also received a free Secretlab chair when we signed up — a nice touch! We’ve heard horror stories about renovation experiences, but we’re glad to say ours was actually a pleasant one, thanks to Cecilia. Would recommend her if you’re looking for someone responsible and hands-on.

We engaged Cecilia one year ago to do renovation for our new 5 room flat at Tengah. We met up with her multiple times to finalize the design and she is quite patient with my wife's changes. She is also professional, responsive to our texts and can manage any hiccups in the renovation process. One year into our renovation and no defects so far. Overall she met our needs and will recommend to others who need renovation.
