Nicole was very prompt in responding to our needs and the amazing thing is that she doesn't just do what you say, but fully understand the needs and intention why you needed something from her. She is also very clear with her communications and offers advice before you anticipated any problems. Definitely very experienced and thoughtful ID. This makes the whole reno and works worry-free which is a huge plus given that we are all busy in our own ways and can rest assured Nicole is helping to think through your works carefully and anticipating issues.

Got to know about them through a Facebook promotion. Not so flexible in meeting, must go to their office then can meet up. So we went their office, spent a long time on the explanation of the concept, theme and design ideas on the floor plan. Showed me all the samples on-site. Not many choices as their showroom quite small. And there was no follow up from Aderline Tang after that. Total radio silence. Friendly but not sincere. 2h wasted.

I engaged Carpenters ID and was assigned to Stephen 🙏 Stephen was very kind and engaged with us throughout the whole process from onsite consult to 3D Design. Stephen also advised us in many areas that helped us come to a mutual agreement. He has been professional, constructive and remained positive to changes the whole time. Stephen also shared his recommendations for our home project and provide us samples for us to view from home.

I had a very pleasant experience engaging Stephen for my carpentry works. As this was my first time installing a kitchen island and also my first time working with an outsourced carpenter outside of my interior designer, I had many questions and concerns. Stephen was extremely patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. He took the time to clearly explain the different design options, materials, and practical considerations, making sure I fully understood before proceeding. His explanations were easy to follow, which gave me a lot of confidence in the decisions made. I really appreciate his professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to adjust and advise based on my needs. The overall experience was smooth and reassuring, especially for a first-timer like myself. Would definitely recommend Stephen to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable carpenter.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Jassie on our home renovation. From day one, she was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, which made the entire process feel stress-free. She was truly attentive, listening carefully to our ideas and noticing the little details that mattered most to us. Whenever we had changes or new requests, Jassie was patient, accommodating, and always came up with creative solutions that worked beautifully. We also appreciated how she consistently looked for cost-effective options without compromising on quality. Her responsiveness stood out—she was quick to answer questions, kept us updated at every stage, and made sure we felt involved throughout. On top of that, she managed the renovation schedule seamlessly, keeping everything on track and delivering right on time, which made the whole experience even smoother. Jassie also visited the site several times, proactively spotting and fixing defects before we moved in. The carpentry workmanship exceeded our expectations: thoughtful touches like long door hinges in the wardrobes for better usability, and laminate joints carefully painted to match for a clean, polished look. Thanks to her professionalism, creativity, and warm personality, our home turned out exactly how we envisioned—beautiful, functional, and welcoming. We couldn’t recommend Jassie enough!

Cecilia is the most efficient and creative ID! We had quite a number of unconventional requests and she managed to deliver with speed and precision. We will definitely recommend her to our friends for their renovation journeys!

Writing this review on behalf of my mum My mum was downsizing from a 5 room to a 2 room flexi and really needed to manage the space. Needless to say, we really needed help with layout planning to maximize the storage space for her stuff. Nic and Cecilia really listened and paid attention to what my mum was looking for in her home and they came up with many suggestions which were not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical and functional. They took time to understand her lifestyle and needs and also ensured she felt comfortable in a space which is much smaller compared to her previous home. Nic did an incredibly awesome job in helping her keep to the reno timeline and liaising with external vendors (for our furniture/electrical appliances etc) to ensure everything was fuss free and smooth. He kept my mum and I constantly updated through our WhatsApp group chat and that really gave us a peace of mind and confidence that our reno was going smoothly. Any queries or doubts we had would also be promptly replied to even after his working hours. On-site supervision and project runs were also done by Nic and we can’t be more grateful to him for being our eyes and ears on-site especially on days when we couldn’t be there. A huge thank you to Nic and Cecilia for their commitment and attention to detail and quality and it’s evident in every stage of the renovation process. Thanks to them, my mum has a home she’s comfortable staying in and proud of.

My husband and I are extremely thankful that we had encountered NONE of those horror reno stories we often hear about. In fact, we have nothing but praises for Nic and Cecilia for making our home reno process such a breeze! We would highly recommend Nic and Cecilia to anyone who wants innovative and fresh yet practical ideas for their home because you know you would have your dream home come to life under their expertise!

After shortlisting several ID, we decided on Carpenters as ID Vivian Gong and ID Nick Chan provided us with a sense of commitment and confidence. Vivian and Nic went extra miles to show us 3D model drawing of our house on our second meeting before we had even confirm their service. I would say Vivian has incredible taste, skill, attention to details which allows for creation of a truly beautiful space 🥹 Both ID Vivian and Nic were easy to work with, showcased great flexibility, and understood our preferences and lifestyle needs. Overall we are delighted with their work, professionalism, service and outcome! It was a smooth journey from the start to the very end. ✨

He is incredibly patient and detailed in his work, always taking the time to listen to our ideas and concerns while providing thoughtful and practical solutions. What really stood out was his honesty and transparency—his quotation was very reasonable, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. Jun Jie was highly responsive, always getting back to us promptly whenever we had questions or needed updates. His professionalism and reliability were evident from the start, and it’s no surprise that he was also the trusted ID for both of my brothers-in-law’s homes. Their positive experiences led us to him, and we’re so glad we followed their recommendation. I had the pleasure of working with Night as my interior designer! He is incredibly attentive and responsive, always making sure to address my concerns and questions. He’s sharp in understanding what we envisioned and patient in explaining the details, which really helped me feel confident in the decisions we made together. I was particularly impressed by his ability to blend functionality with aesthetics and he has a keen eye for what works well together.
