⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend Nurul Huda from Eight Design! We’ve had such a pleasant experience working with her for our home renovation. As first-time homeowners, the whole renovation process was very new to us and there were honestly so many things we weren’t familiar with. Nurul made the process much easier for us by being patient, guiding us along the way, and always being there whenever we had questions or needed clarification. Nurul is extremely responsive, efficient, and prompt. Whenever we have questions, requests, or last-minute changes, she gets back to us quickly and makes sure everything is followed up properly. Communication with her has always been smooth and easy, which really gives us peace of mind throughout the renovation process. What we appreciate most is her patience and willingness to listen. We are quite particular about our home and have made many changes along the way, but Nurul has always been patient and accommodating. She takes the time to understand exactly what we are looking for instead of simply pushing her own ideas, while still giving practical suggestions and professional advice when needed. She is also very attentive to the little details and works efficiently to resolve any concerns that come up. We never feel like we have to constantly chase her for updates, and she always makes an effort to keep things progressing smoothly. Overall, Nurul has been reliable, approachable, and really easy to work with. We genuinely appreciate all the effort she has put into our home and how much smoother she has made our first renovation experience. Was recommended by a friend to engage Hooi Peng as the ID for my newly purchased 3RM flat. From my first conversation with her, I felt totally comfortable with her and knew that I can entrust my renovation to her. She always give practical advice and never brush off any weird ideas I have. Amey did the 3D drawings for my place and was involved with the renovation too. She diligently follow up with all the renovation work, even with my engaged contractors, to ensure that no ball is dropped. During the renovation period, I hardly visit the place, and they constantly keep me updated with the status. They totally took the load of renovation off me. Thank you Hooi Peng and Amey (Eight Design) for turning my run down place into such a cosy sanctuary.

We engaged Eight Design for our BTO renovation and honestly, we had a really good experience with them. We had a pretty tight budget, so we were quite surprised that Eight Design, who also does bigger projects like Changi Airport, was willing to take on a small project like our BTO. They also gave us a really good price and didn't charge us a designer fee. Of course, we don't expect this from every ID, but it's something we really appreciated. He Xin was our designer and he was really down to earth and easy to talk to. He understood what we wanted and also worked within our budget. He also assured us that Eight Design complies with CASE Trust and has the Gold Standard accreditation, which gave us some peace of mind that we're dealing with a proper company and not some company that will take your money and disappear. Eight Design was actually the first ID we went to, and after meeting He Xin, we just had a good feeling about him, so we didn't even bother looking at other IDs. He Xin was with us throughout the whole process, from checking defects and the BSC handover, all the way through the renovation. He also helped coordinate the installation of our aircon and gas heater, which were handled by third-party contractors. There were some issues with these third-party contractors, like leaving a mess and even damaging the wall. Even though these weren't really He Xin's responsibility, he still stepped in and helped us settle the issues and get them fixed. Honestly, this saved us a lot of headache and having to make a bunch of calls and complaints ourselves. We also had a last-minute change to the ceiling fan placement after it was already installed. He Xin helped us sort it out without complaining and even waived the fee for it, which we really appreciated. Another thing I liked was that he kept us updated throughout the renovation. He would tell us what was done and what was coming next, so we always had an idea of what was going on. I'm someone who likes to know what's happening, so this was really helpful. Overall, the whole renovation was pretty smooth. Of course there were small issues here and there, but nothing major, and whenever something came up, He Xin was there to help us settle it. Getting a new home is already quite stressful with all the renovation, defects and coordination, so we're really glad we had He Xin and Eight Design helping us through it. Really appreciate all the help from He Xin and the team. Thanks for making the whole process a lot less stressful for us.

Sky and Joey from Eight Design are wonderful to work with, they gave many good suggestions on designing my mother-in-law’s 2-room bto, colour selection of laminates and even selecting electrical accessories. Most importantly, everything was executed perfectly and super fast in exactly 2 months! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an efficient team with a good eye for design. I’m already looking forward to starting another small project to upgrade my own house with them!

Recently completed my house renovation and really want to give a big thank you to my IDs, Joey and Sophia. From the beginning, both of them were very helpful and professional. What I appreciate most is that when they knew about my budget constraint, they didn’t keep pushing me to spend more. Instead, they tried to work within my budget and gave me practical suggestions and designs that can save cost but still look nice and functional. For me, renovation is not only about the design, but also about trust. Throughout the whole process, I feel that Joey and Sophia are really trying to help and give advice based on what is suitable for us, not just trying to sell more things. Of course, there were some small issues along the way, but they were always willing to discuss and help to solve them. Really appreciate their effort and patience throughout the renovation. Happy with the final outcome and definitely will recommend Joey and Sophia to anyone who is looking for an ID. 👍

Nurul has been very responsive and quick right from the start. Reno work started mid June 2026 and it was completed by mid July 2026 - which we have not seen any ID able to complete this efficiently. Her communication skill is impeccable - theres no questions left unanswered and she replies within minutes. As a result, her planning, work and management was top notch and we will definitely recommend her to family and friends for any reno works!

Of course initial concern was budget. Main issue was toilet but as we look around we decided on makeover of the living room too. Concerns listed out first and ideas formed. Also hidden issues came out like temporary accomodations when toilet is being done (only one toilet home). Theme was simple and first was color selection. Queries were responded to quickly and thoughtfully. The process was smooth, choices were put on the table so we felt the ownership. Experience shows and in all stress free. Thanks to the team.

I am delighted to share my experience working with Vince as our interior designer. His thoughtfulness in planning and exceptional suggestions transformed my flat into a remarkably liveable and cozy space. Despite a very tight timeline and met with obstacles, he understands my concerns and is able to suggest practical solutions to address them. While there have been inevitable delays to the renovation mainly due to factors beyond our control, Vince manages to make the most of these situations.
