We had the pleasure of working with Vivien for our first BTO home. We were inexperience in the processes and the minute details when it comes to making the house a home and Vivien made it seamless and easy for us. She undertook things that were beyond her purview and was never calculative of her time and effort. In the beginning, she actually compared her quotation with another Vendor's quotation and showcased the gaps and differences between the two which actually highlighted the lack of works on the other vendor's quotation. In the design phase, she incorporated our needs in both functional and aesthetics. She gave practical recommendations which did not cross our minds. During the works' phase, she took in our feedback and adjusted accordingly without any fuss. She was also very transparent in any additional cost or reduction and the overall invoice had no hidden costs. She was also the coordinator for vendor works' that were beyond her company's such as SP services which made it easy for us. Upon completion of the works, we were satisfied with the overall workmanship and the final outcome of our home. She rectified certain aspects according to our feedback willingly and without any delay. We are extremely happy that we engaged Vivien and we highly recommend anyone who seeks a stress free renovation process to engage her as well. Thank you Vivien!

My husband and I went through a few ID and decided to narrow down on Jialux mainly because we have the luxury of 2 interior designers together - Thiam Soon and Ziwei for our resale HDB. They gave idea that matches both the aesthetics and the functionality for the house to our liking. It was smooth sailing so far and we managed to get our house done up and ready to stay in about 4 months time. We went through each stage of the renovation together and step by step which includes - 3D design, dismantling of the walls and old cupboards, painting + tiling, built in and rectification. There are definitely parts that needed to redo such as hollow tiles, cracked tiles or leaking pipes. But Thiam soon and ziwei were always quick to give us an answer either via WhatsApp or a quick phone call. This is reassuring as we know that our IDs are on it to help rectify the issues as soon as possible. We will recommend jialux again and wish to work with them again if we do purchase a second home in the near future.

4 room BTO in Tampines As a first-time homeowner going through a major renovation, my partner and I were anxious about the process. (Anyone reading this is likely still looking for an ID. It's tiring to speak to many IDs to look for the right one - with Gerald, you're going to be off to a fantastic start!)  We met Gerald at a Hitch by Hitcheed event and would count getting to know him as one of our biggest takeaways from there.  While we went with another ID in the end, we found Gerald is someone who is patient, responsive, friendly and has a cheerful demeanor. Most importantly, he is very professional and goes above and beyond.  In our meetings with him, we noticed that he had excellent ideas that go beyond purely design, had a knack for quickly coming up with ideas that incorporated our requests into the design, and paid a lot of attention to our lifestyles to incorporate into the design. In fact, his first question to us was whether we had any hobbies! He is someone we would highly recommend to our friends and we look forward to being able to engage Gerald in the future!

Zi Wei came highly recommended by a family member who had previously collaborated with her to design his condominium. We had a fantastic experience working with her. Initially, we were worried about the contract as it didn’t seem to benefit us, and we were in a rush to move in. However, Zi Wei addressed our concerns promptly and completed the renovations within two weeks, allowing us to move in on time. Despite our tight budget, she offered alternative suggestions that helped us save costs while still meeting our needs. We are truly grateful for her!

My Mom and I recently had the pleasure of working with Jialux Interior Ignatius Yeo to redesign our home at the budget that we have set, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing and accomodating. From the very beginning, Ignatius demonstrated a deep understanding of our vision and needs. One of the things I appreciated most was Ignatius's ability to listen and incorporate my ideas while also providing expert advice. For instance, the suggestion to use lighter colors in the living room and the placement of our customise carpentry and furnitures to make the space feel more open was spot on. The end result was a perfect blend of my personal style and professional design. Throughout the project, Ignatius was incredibly attentive and responsive. Whenever I had questions or concerns, they were addressed promptly, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the design, from the selection of materials to the final touches. Moreover, Ignatius managed to stay within budget without compromising on quality. This was particularly impressive given the scope of the project.

We first met Ignatius through a recommendation. He is someone who is comfortable to talk to, open to ideas, able to provide professional advice on things we were uncertain of, and would not recommend unnecessary things just to earn extra bucks. He is able to deliver the theme and expectations given to him. He has also taught us lots of renovation terms, explaining the end-to-end renovation process. Although there were some issues along the way, it was promptly resolved. We are genuinely thankful for him handling our renovation project. Not only did he meet our expectations, those who visited the house gave praises of the design. Thank you Ignatius for managing the whole process and that making our house as envisioned beautifully.

We were served by Jia Rui when we were just enquiring around, but we decided to sign up with Jia Lux as we were impressed by his ideas for our bedrooms and living room. Jia Rui was very attentive, responsive and his ideas meshed very well with what we had in mind. We had updates and replies very promptly even on his off days and public holidays! He was very easy to work with and always had very innovative ideas. Jia Rui had an added challenge of a stay in renovation and he coordinated everything impeccably. We are thrilled with the end result as it exceeded our expectations. Thanks again Jia Rui!

I engaged Jialux because of my first interaction with CongSheng. This gentleman proved to be someone of high dependability and customer services. He is professional and lead a team of reliable contractors. He understood our needs, proposed and executed the work. He was able to handover the project timely. Despite the handover was done, whenever we needed help, he will not hesitate to assist. As owner, I definitely appreciate such positive attitude!

Despite having done a renovation before, it was seven years ago, and many things have changed since then, including increased material costs due to inflation. Their clarity in financial matters was invaluable. Lesley and Wei Xuan were meticulous and thorough in their work. They paid close attention to the smallest details, ensuring that every aspect of the renovation was aligned with the overall theme of our home. We emphasized repeatedly that we could not afford any delays, as we were on a tight schedule to move in. Understanding the urgency, they dedicated themselves to the project, visiting the site daily to supervise the contractors' work. As the renovation neared completion, they spent entire days on-site to address any issues immediately, ensuring that the project stayed on track. Their professionalism was evident throughout the process, and they provided us with numerous practical ideas. They went above and beyond, investing extra time to source materials that matched the original tiles and skirtings used in our condo project five years ago. Despite being informed by the management that these items were no longer available, they contacted the manufacturer directly, secured the remaining pieces, and personally collected them from the warehouse. Their dedication and hard work were truly remarkable. The craftsmanship was excellent, with sturdy construction and attention to detail. The designs they created for the living room and master bedroom were particularly impressive, reflecting their artistic talent and perfectly fitting the theme we wanted. Lesley and Wei Xuan’s creative vision really brought our home to life. Throughout the entire project, from start to finish, they remained professional and positive. Even when we made significant changes to the floor plan towards the end, which undoubtedly added stress, they never complained. They worked diligently to meet our expectations while staying within our budget. Their after-sales service was also commendable—they kept us informed at every stage, making the renovation process smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend Lesley and Wei Xuan to anyone looking for a trustworthy and talented interior designer. They truly excelled in every aspect of our project, and we are grateful for their exceptional work.
