Initially, my experience with Lyndon from White Panel Studio was positive. He was responsive, friendly, and provided good guidance at the start of our renovation, which gave us confidence in him. Unfortunately, the quality of the work and the service fell apart completely after the handover. We immediately began finding serious issues. Brand new items we purchased and existing electronics in our unit were chipped, scratched, and even painted over. We found rubbish sealed into our new floors, including cardboard poking out from the edges of our tiles. Lyndon did come to “fix” the rubbish when we raised it, but the fact that such a basic and visible issue was done so poorly created anxiety about what else behind the walls or under the finishes might also have been mishandled. The tiles were uneven and the grouting was so poorly done that cement spilled from the edges. Instead of properly fixing it, the studio sent our building’s defect contractor to do the job, and I later had to pay another contractor myself to get it fixed. The amount I paid to White Panel Studio to do the grouting in the first place was never reimbursed. Communication and accountability was also a major problem. Our original kitchen hob and stove went missing without a clear explanation, and Lyndon only agreed to a refund after my partner intervened. The kitchen cabinets, which were fully entrusted to the studio’s design, were so poorly planned that one even blocked our dish rack. His own carpenters admitted they didn’t realise the cabinets were for our kitchen. To make matters worse, it took Lyndon more than a month to propose a solution, and he became increasingly difficult to contact, leaving us to deal with more problems on our own. Worst of all, we discovered several safety hazards. Wiring was left exposed and loose in our kitchen, which a third party highlighted as a serious fire hazard. Several items needed to install our kitchen hood were also missing and these were handled by the same contractors. When my partner and I tried to address these issues, Lyndon’s response was consistently dismissive, even accusing us of “being unfair.” This was insulting for a paid service we trusted to do the job properly. We also started finding woodwork he did for us have started warping. And all the while he remains uncontactable to the point his vendors cannot get hold of him. Overall, our promising experience with White Panel Studio turned into an ongoing nightmare. As of today, we are still discovering new defects that will cost us money and countless hours to fix. We were left with damaged items, unsafe workmanship, missing property, and a total lack of accountability. I cannot recommend White Panel Studio to anyone.

We went to several IDs before deciding on White Panel Studio. It was helpful they introduce for their completed projects so that we can have a feel on their work before deciding. We feel that communication is key when deciding on an ID and we are glad we chose White Panel Studio to renovate our new home. We would like to thank Lyndon for his patience during the whole process from conceptualising our ideas to overseeing our renovation process and completion. The whole renovation process took about 3 months amid our hectic schedule and it was good Lyndon assisted with our enquiries promptly and did his best to help us visualise our dream home. Thank you Lyndon & team for a job well done!

White Panel Studio is creative in her design and great with colours and Lyndon is meticulous and very helpful. They were able to understand our requirements and were also accommodating with our requests during the design process and renovation. The process was very organised. Communication was smooth and frequent updates were provided without the need to prompt the team. The workmanship is also great especially the carpentry. I had an enjoyable experience with them. I have to say he is quite meticulous at his work. He listens and understands my ideas, thinking and the design I wanted for my home. Giving suggestions and putting in his own ideas along the way. In comparison to other ID firms, Posh Interior was more expensive. Blew my budget quite a bit. The designs proposed were bold and unique.The carpentry work done (feature wall, tv console, wardrobe, cabinets, shelving) was also quite noteworthy and were specially designed to fit our home layout and style perfectly. Even added an extra carpentry right after the house was completed! The things needed for our home were completed close to schedule and the quality was commendable. I believe in quality over anything else especially when it comes to your house. Think it as a long term investment! Overall, Charles has help me tremendously to ease my stress. Amidst all the hiccups, he listens and does his best to explain and rectify if necessary. Any issues I had after moving in were also promptly rectified. Great creativity, great engagement, great communication and great responsibility from the team! Highly recommended!
