I had the pleasure of working with Wei Jing over the past few months for the renovation of my apartment. From the initial ideation and sourcing of materials to the final execution and even defect checks, she was a fantastic project manager. Wei Jing demonstrated exceptional commitment, frequently accommodating our schedules with weekend and late-night meetings. She was always willing to help, even with unexpected last-minute needs involving electricians or carpenters. In conclusion, I would absolutely work with Wei Jing again in the future, perhaps on my next (and hopefully larger!) home.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Carmen from Doubble on my interior design and renovation project! Working with Shuyee has been such a pleasant experience from start to finish! ✨ Even though she speaks softly, don’t be fooled — behind her gentle voice is someone full of ideas, creativity, and professionalism. She gave me so many thoughtful suggestions that I would never have thought of myself, making my home not just beautiful but also practical. What really impressed me was how hands-on she was. She didn’t just stop at design — she even helped me choose my loose furniture online (I admit I’m a bit lazy 😅), and every piece turned out perfect with the overall theme. During the whole renovation, whenever any issue popped up, she handled it calmly, quickly, and effectively, taking away so much stress from me. Her responsiveness is another thing I truly appreciate — she always replied promptly, listened carefully to our needs, and worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was executed well. Buying a house is a big decision. Trusting someone to make it into a home is a bigger decision. And we're so glad we trusted Doubble with it. Here's what we loved about the entire experience we had, especially with our home's designer, Carmen: 1. We approached a few companies - Doubble was the only one that made us feel comfortable, welcome and also that whatever our budget was wasn't judged. Carmen got in touch with us promptly after we made our first enquiry, and arranged for us to meet up at the office. They asked for our thoughts and preferences - and we had a good first discussion together. 2. They were flexible and accomodative. It was our first time going through a proper ID and we had often evolved our ideas or sometimes needed more time to think about designs and materials because of our busy schedules - Carmen never rushed us, helped us through the process by giving her ideas and available options - it was so helpful in minimising the stress on us. 3. Friendly and fun to work with. We enjoyed the conversations and group chats we had - from jokes to gifs. It made the whole process so much more fun. There was never an issue about mannerism or ethics. Carmen was also thoughtful in getting us gifts during Christmas or when she got back from a holiday - i mean who else does this??? 4. Always in touch. This might differ based on individuals, but Carmen was always available no matter the day or time. She got back to us promptly and kept us updated on everything, which made us assure that things were progressing well. And when she was going on a break, she informed us in advance but ensured that during that period we wouldnt have anything major to be concerned about. 5. Premium quality. We love our home - from the design to the finishing, everything we discussed during the design stage came to life, thanks to Carmen, Doubble team, the contractors and suppliers. Carmen also visited some of the shops with us to select materials e.g. tiles, which was helpful to have a designer's view when making decisions. 6. When things didn't look right, it was fixed. The touch up phase was important to ensure that we had an opportunity to identify any issues with the renovation - Carmen ensured everything we highlighted was fixed, until we were fully satisfied. Overall, it has been an amazing experience and choosing Doubble was one of the best decisions we've made. The final result was worth every cent. Thank you to Carmen, Naythan and everyone involved in making our home beautiful.
