One of the defining elements of this home is a tree that spans upward to create a vertical connection with the upper levels. Rooted on the ground floor, the tree merges with a long counter that begins at a raised platform within an internal courtyard resembling a Japanese chabudai before extending horizontally to form the dining table. The greenery stands out against the bare white walls and promotes stress relief while eliminating toxins from the air and lending a powerful connection to nature.

This semi-detached terrace in Johor Bahru achieves an orderly feeling of calm thanks to its neutral colour palette, open-plan layout, and abundance of natural light.

When combined with light hardwood materials, the area appears to be a tranquil space that encourages the owners to read a book or get some work done.

Looking at this zen-looking condominium is like taking a deep, intentional breath. Throughout the interior, the absence of clutter is notable.
