Qanvast is not an interior firm and we do not carry out renovation works. We are a renovation platform that allows homeowners to get inspired by local home ideas, learn more about renovating and find interior firms. Is Qanvast reliable?

Yes, of course! As homeowners ourselves, we pride ourselves on building a transparent and trustworthy platform that helps homeowners simplify their renovation journey. Apart from screening and continuously monitoring all interior firms that are onboard, we encourage real homeowners to leave reviews on their renovation experience, be it good or bad. Are the interior firms on Qanvast reliable?

Yes. All interior firms onboard Qanvast undergo a stringent vetting process, including but not limited to, checking the firm’s ACRA registration details, cross-checking with industry partners, and more. They will only be listed if they are a good fit for Qanvast. We continuously monitor the quality of firms listed on Qanvast against verified reviews left by homeowners. Firms that fall below the rating of 3.5 stars out of 5 will not be recommended. Ratings can be found on the firms’ profiles on Qanvast.

Are the interior firms on Qanvast HDB-licensed?

Not every interior firm on Qanvast is HDB-licensed. Interior firms often sub-contract general work out to contractors, so they are not required to be HDB-licensed. Do check and ensure that their contractors are HDB-licensed before you embark on renovating your flat

How do I get free renovation quotes?

By submitting a request for free quotes, you will receive up to five interior firm recommendations that best match your renovation requirements. In fact, 75% of homeowners meet at least three interior firms before engaging one. If you have any questions, you can also approach our friendly Qanvast Guide personnel who will be assigned to assist you upon your submission. Connecting with interior firms on Qanvast will also automatically qualify you for perks under the free Qanvast Trust Programme.

Can I get interior firm recommendations in person?

All recommendations for interior firms will be sent to you virtually. If you wish to meet interior firms to get quotes, check out our monthly offline Qanvast Hangout event! https://renovate.qanvast.com/hangout/

Does Qanvast receive any commission from interior firms?

We do not receive any commission when we match you with interior design firms. The firms pay us a fixed listing fee to keep us going!

What is the Qanvast Trust Programme?

The Qanvast Trust Programme is a free initiative to help homeowners look for reliable interior firms, get additional assurance on their renovation, and enjoy perks, like the Qanvast Guarantee and exclusive home furnishing deals.

How can I enjoy the deals in the Qanvast Trust Programme?

What is the SuperTrust badge?

The SuperTrust badge is accredited to interior firms that have been consistently rated positively by homeowners, and have met other excellence standards.

What is the Qanvast Guarantee?

The Qanvast Guarantee is a free scheme that safeguards your renovation deposits, in the (rare) event that the interior firm you have engaged via Qanvast becomes insolvent. It covers 50% of your contract value, up to S$50,000, whichever is lower. If you’re interested in opting in for the scheme, you must submit your signed contract (in PDF format only), within seven days of signing it. How do I qualify for the Qanvast Guarantee?

To be eligible for the Qanvast Guarantee, you must fulfil BOTH of these criteria as this is an opt-in initiative. 1. Engage a firm via Qanvast via one of these three methods: a) Our recommendation service b) Enquire directly with a firm via the 'Enquire' button on the Qanvast website or mobile app c) Our physical Qanvast Hangout event 2. Submit your signed quotation via the Qanvast Guarantee page within 7 days of signing This enables us to verify that you have fulfilled the previous criterion. Please ensure that all the submission details are completed so as to expedite the approval process. You will receive an email about the approval status in a week's time.

What is the Extended Warranty coverage?

The Extended Warranty coverage protects your renovation works for up to an additional 12 months, depending on your contract’s warranty coverage. The scope of works covered will be the same as your chosen interior firm’s warranty coverage, excluding wear and tear. This perk under the free Qanvast Trust Programme is valid for selected firms only. Do renovation prices include furniture and appliances?

Most of the renovation prices within projects DO NOT include furniture and appliances unless otherwise stated in the 'Works Included' tab listed in each project.

How can I save home ideas that I really like?

Just tap on the heart on the top right corner of the photo and create or pick a board to which you want to save it. When the heart is filled, it means the photo has been saved to your board. To ‘unsave’ the photo, tap on the heart again. You can see all your saved photos under ‘My Boards’.

How do I edit or verify my review?

To access your reviews, login and click on 'Dashboard' on the top right of the screen, and then go to the 'Review a Firm' tab. You may edit your review anytime. To verify your review, simply upload your contract and our team will verify your review within 14 days of submitting your contract.

Was my review removed?

In line with building a transparent and trustworthy platform, we do not remove any reviews unless they do not meet our posting guidelines, such as spam, inappropriate language or fraudulent reviews. For more details, refer to our review regulation policy: https://qanvast.com/sg/review-policy

Why do I need to log in to publish a review?

To ensure all reviews are real and authentic, we require homeowners to log in or create an account with Qanvast to publish a review.
