Vertis Penthouse

The close proximity of the adjacent condominium is a big concern on privacy of the penthouse apartment. Transforming the problem into a design concept, we decided to push the limits of what transformative screening means internally and externally. We adopted the strategy of “SLIDING” to create different degrees of transparency of the whole apartment. Views can be maximized or minimized depending on the different visual or daylight needs throughout the day. The screens provided the continuity with an open layout of the living, dining and bar counter area.
