Well, those emphases are translated to their newly-opened flagship store in Joo Chiat – and let us tell you, it's not your average showroom. At 3 storeys with a whopping 11,000 sqft of space, this is the largest GROHE showroom in Singapore.
In it, you’ll find a wide array of products on displays, which not only includes fittings like showers, WCs, kitchen taps, and sinks but also exclusive collections that aren’t available anywhere else in Singapore.
But the GROHE Flagship Store isn’t just a mere showcase of products – it’s also an experience centre, with tons of unique features that elevate the shopping adventure to a whole new level. Here’s what you can expect.
1. Play with interactive shower displays
We can tell you all about GROHE’s bathroom fittings, but honestly, it can’t compare to experiencing them in-person. Here, you can actually see them working their magic in real time, with numerous interactive shower displays that lets you toggle different functions and see how they work.
Aside from being an impressive feature, these interactive displays also allow you to fully understand the functionality of each item and find the one that fits your home the best.
For example, you’ll be able to find this magnificent rain shower display fitted with various shower functions that you may have never heard about.
We’re talking side body sprays with massage functions that soothe your aching backs, a waterfall spray that cascades onto your shoulder, or the dreamy misty rain spray that’s perfect after a long day of work.
And the best thing is, these different sprays are modular and can be set up in a variety of ways to suit different needs and bathroom layouts!
The showroom even comes with a shower configurator – a touchscreen display that allows you to customise different shower setups to suit your home. No more regular shower setups, for this configurator allows you to play around with L-shaped and even T-shaped showers!
2. Have a private shower experience
If interacting with those shower displays simply isn’t enough for you, how about experiencing them in an actual shower? Yes, you read that right – there is a private shower room in the store, where visitors like yourself can experience the products in a real shower setting.
Remember all the different sprays we mentioned above? Well, this shower experience lets you try them all out. Even better, the room is also equipped with additional features like coloured and dimmable lights, a sound module that you can link to your Spotify account, and a steam module for a luxurious shower experience.
Additionally, basic amenities like body wash, towels, and hair dryers are all provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
Bonus: this 45-minute private shower experience is completely FOC! While it’s currently open by invitation only, it’ll soon be open to the public, so do keep a lookout on GROHE’s social media pages and website.
3. Get serious design inspiration for your own bathrooms
We’re pretty sure that you’re no stranger to scrolling through Pinterest or Instagram looking at gorgeous homes and rooms – but if you’re looking for bathroom inspiration specifically, you’ll find what you’re looking for here in the GROHE Flagship Store.
Located all around the massive showroom, their bathroom setups come in 12 distinctly different styles and designs. A luxurious black modern-luxe look? Check. An elegant hotel-inspired bathroom? Check. An open-concept modern-contemporary bathroom? Check, check, and check.
While easy on the eyes, these bathroom vignettes have a functional purpose too – it’ll help you visualise how the fittings will look like in an actual setup, which is more helpful than looking at just images.
Bonus: if you’re interested in a customised design based on your floor plan, you can inquire about the GROHE CustomMySpace service through their on-site consultants. Starting in September, this service allows you to plan your bathroom design with your choice of GROHE fittings and fixtures to help you fully visualise how your space will look!
4. Test out various kitchen mixers and enjoy complimentary coffee or tea
GROHE isn’t just all about bathroom fittings – they’re also focused on creating top-of-the-market kitchen fittings, too. And you’ll be able to find them all in the dedicated kitchen area that’s fitted with sinks, counters, and even a display that looks like a real-life kitchen island.
Just like the showers, you’ll find various different kitchen mixers and sinks, 10 of which are live and can be tried out! How else will you be able to know if they fit your needs if you can’t actually test them out?
The GROHE Zedra triple spray in action
While all the mixers on display are noteworthy in their own right, we were particularly drawn to these three:
- GROHE Zedra triple spray: a faucet that not only has your usual jet and laminar sprays, but also a powerful blade spray – ideal for cleaning every corner of your sink.
- GROHE Minta touch: a touch-activated tap that allows you to wash your hands without fiddling with the lever – perfect for baking and cooking enthusiasts, or those particular about hygiene
- GROHE Blue Pure filter faucet: a 2-in-1 faucet that doubles up as a water purifier
And if you need a little pick-me-up after strolling around the store, simply request a cup of coffee or tea from the friendly staff (all free!) to refresh yourself before getting back to it.
5. Attend workshops on interesting topics like bathroom fengshui
The GROHE Flagship Store is not just a place to see and experience – it’s also a place for you to learn and connect with fellow homeowners like yourself.

Throughout the months of August and September, GROHE will be organising a series of workshops that aim to arm homeowners with different tips, tricks, and ideas. Called the GROHE Housewarming Party, this event will have visitors touching on fun topics that include:

- Enhancing home fengshui with Caitlin Lao Shi
- Sustainable kokedama (a type of Japanese bonsai where the roots are wrapped with moss) creation with Plantitude
- Cooking demo workshop with SMEG (with recipe ideas for a housewarming party)
