How it works
Taobao Singapore’s assembly/handyman service is available in both Chinese and English versions of the app
The service is straightforward to use:
- Open the Taobao app (P.S. ensure it’s updated)
- Swipe through the category icons at the top of the homepage and select “Home”
- Tap the banner on top to get details of Taobao Singapore’s local handyman assembly service
From there, you can contact the service provider via WhatsApp to get quotes for the assembly of the different items you’re looking at by sharing links and/or screenshots of each product.
Happy with the quote? Proceed by indicating your preferred timeslot, and secure it by making an upfront payment. Cancellation of installation slots are free with more than 24 hours’ notice, while a 10% fee will apply for same day cancellations.
