As a small business owner myself, I don't take lightly to leaving negative reviews on other businesses. But seeing how my bad experience was not unique, here's my honest to god review. My wife and I commissioned Lucas and Team to do my reno in the heart of Covid 2020. I get that many IDs were facing manpower issues and perhaps we were too lenient because of that. To their credit, I thought Rachel, the Project Manager was doing her best. But I think she was overwhelmed with work and couldn't devote the time needed for each project. Lucas also handed off the project to her almost from the get-go. There were SO. MANY. ISSUES. My wife compiled a 40 slider ppt full of issues. From tiling, to cabinets, to damaging existing fixtures, the list went on and on. For every issue brought up, they did try to fix it but the resulting workmanship was just really bad. Now, 1 year on, my downstair neighbour started complaining about a leaky ceiling. My reno nightmare has quite literally resurfaced. I had to re-do the entire water piping layout for my place. Yes, you heard that right, re-do the whole damn thing because the contractors they hired did a bad job. I've spent close to $1.5k trying to rectify the issue but it's still not resolved. UPDATE - They have made payment to the waterproofing specialist recommended by HDB. Let's just hope this will be the last of it.
