We reached out to Jialux in Jan’22 after watching an episode on ‘Crazy nice homes’ and were quickly attended to and connected with Gerald Goh ( Assisted by Cong Sheng). This is our 2nd home but the 1st one we chose to work with an ID and boy were we glad to have gone ahead with our gut feeling . Gerald was the 1st and only ID we enquired with. His genuine attitude , earnestness and transparency made it a clear ‘go’ from the onset. Throughout our whole Reno journey of close to a year(due to waiting period for keys) - Gerald was patient , approachable and listened intently at all times ,it felt like he was not only part of this whole process but he was truly embracing it. The actual Reno took place in a very timely fashion over 2.5 months with minimal hiccups. This showed how Gerald is not a ‘transactional’ ID, but he evolves and shed advice according to our needs and lifestyle . To top it off , he was extremely detailed about finishing touches and made sure design was executed in a smooth and sleek manner . His finesse touch with regards to lighting also helped ensure we had the best light throw and selection of lighting points . Cong Sheng , who was assisting is also extremely humble and helpful . He always made sure requests are being followed up upon and looked into. During our whole Reno process , both Gerald and Cong Sheng dropped by multiple times to assess the progress and work closely with the contractors to ensure flawless execution. Even upon completion of Reno , both Gerald and Cong Sheng maintained contact and follow to ensure living in was up to expectations and were always on standby for minor rectifications. Indeed , a blessed Reno process isn’t shaped by how nice a ID firm’s IG page is. I’ll let our pictures speak for itself of the quality of work rendered by Jialux. Thank you to both Gerald Goh and Cong Sheng for such a memorable & fuss free Reno journey !
