Alison was the first ID whom we met just a month after key collection. My husband and I have always liked the designs done by KeyConcept but did not have any ID in mind. Thankfully, we were assigned to Alison who we instantly clicked with! Despite her age and experience in the industry, Alison has always been very patient, friendly and responsible. Right from the start, we briefed her on our preferred concept and she immediately knew what we are looking for. She first provided us with a nicely done up moodboard and that was when we knew she is going to be the chosen one as she understood what we wanted for the house. She was also kind enough to show us stacks of material samples, which allowed us to grasp a clearer idea of what we would like to incorporate into our home. From then on we also felt that she is a motivated individual, and encompasses the relevant knowledge in interior design. Along with the timeframe required from our end until we could officially begin reno works, we also made quite a number of changes to the renders but Alison has really been the nicest and most patient ID ever for accommodating to our multiple requests :’) She has also never been one who would force her ideas on us, instead she helps to give us proper advice if the things we wanted do not work out in reality. And we are very grateful for that! During the reno process, Alison is very responsive and sends us regular updates whenever we did not have time to head down. Of course, some hiccups were inevitable but we did not have much to worry about as she always assures us and managed to resolve every issue we faced. Apart from that, we could tell she has a good working relationship with her contractors who also pretty much did a good job in building our home! Thank you Alison, for being such a great sport throughout our home reno journey. We’re very grateful to have met you and will also miss having meetups with you in your chio office!

Key Concept has been recommended to me and my wife and our assigned ID was Kean. Kean has been extremely patient and helpful in guiding us throughout the entire process, from planning stage, to designing and finally the renovation stage. During all the different stages of renovation, communications, ideas, recommendations, and things that needs to be done on our end has been advised by him very clearly. The entire process couldn’t be any smoother without his help. He is also exceptionally prompt in updating us from details like 3D renderings, progress of the renovation, even to responding to our messages and calls whenever we need his advice. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Kean & Key Concept, and they are definitely the ID that is highly recommended for a hassle-free and great experience!

Claire contacted me shortly after receiving Qanvast‘s recommendations. I shared with her a draft of my ideas and she came back with plenty of amazing enhancements to my original concepts. Claire was professional, responsive and detail-minded. I enjoyed working with her on my house. Unfortunately, she decided to take up difference challenges in her career and my project was handed over to J after first payment. My unit renovated started with a few weeks’ delay to my original plan. But most of the suppliers used by Key Concept were wonderful. The tiler uncle was very patient. While I was with him during his work, he would ask me how I would like to place the patterned tiles. He would constantly give suggestions on how to best position the different tiles to give more cohesive design. Same went for the “partitioning” uncle who took extra care and patience while working on the various partitioning. The electric work team was quick and hardworking. The vinyl flooring team was quick and efficient. The painter was also very cooperative too. I absolutely loved the KompacTop kitchen top and splash back. It was very thin, sturdy and well fabricated. I could hardly notice the seam of the joining wood pieces. They took extreme care cutting the top laminate, keeping the wood pattern running across the adjacent wood pieces. The installation team was very professional too. The carpentry team was a little more difficult to work with. Their communications with J and me was rather inadequate, making several assumptions in dimensions that lead to avoidable errors. But their work quality direct from factory was pretty solid. And they offered to help put up my IKEA splash back and shelves along one of my kitchen wall FOC. The workmanship was top-notched on this. As for J, he was a wonderful young man and very easy to work with. He put a lot of emphasis on “delivering my house to my needs”. He respected my opinions and decisions all the time. But he was not afraid to tell me his ideas and advices. And I respected that a lot. He was also able to provide helpful technical feedback and his experience was one of his key assets while he went on for defect-search for you. One advice I would give J was to add a sense of urgency to the timing of certain works. But overall, he was wonderful to work with and would definitely get the job done.
