Mr Raymond Kua - followed up on the design and renovation works process diligently. He brought us to view the items to purchase to suit our house deco. He also assisted us to co-ordinate with the vendors and contractors from time to time. He did follow up closely when things needed to be rectified and touched ups etc..We have to move in quickly as we had sold our old house, he has tried his best to accomodate our timeline! There are some design that we think we needed to change, he will give his professional advise on what is best for us,as users. Raymond understands our requirements and preference quickly and reflected to his design. He was very open to listen to our thought to the new home and always gave us re practical advise. His design really matches with our life style. He provided the very good quality of work and great support even after we moved in. The slight delay of schedule was a little bit pain but overall we are very happy with the renovation. Thank you Raymond and his team.

It was a great experience throughout my home renovation with Design Practice. Raymond was meticulous in the construction details and was able to communicate his solutions well to the contractors, and delivered to me a higher than expected quality of my now nicely renovated home. The workmanship of his team of contractors was outstanding as well. They are accommodating and approachable and are willing to share their experience on projects to help me make better decisions. We picked Enzo as our ID as he was most resourceful with our storage challenge and space utilisation, yet did not quote us an exorbitant amount. His pricing is competitive but we felt he was more knowledgeable than the other IDs we met through Qanvast with regards to piping and electrical wiring. We didn’t regret our decision. We are happy with the detailed design and material selection process, as well as the renovation work itself. We are satisfied with the colour and material combination that he suggested. The workmanship is good and we were pleasantly surprised with the outcome of the lighting works that he proposed. We like the fact that when we requested certain functionalities in the different areas of the house, he was able to provide design suggestions that we won’t be able to come up with on our own. This is definitely the value that we were looking for in getting an ID instead of a contractor. We found the whole renovation experience a stress-free one, as I was very busy with work, and either my husband or myself could only visit the site 1-2x a week mostly on Fridays or weekends. Enzo would not bother us much with nitty gritty stuffs but he would contact us when we needed to make certain decisions. He is also responsible with the follow up of minor things post renovation and move in. You won’t regret engaging Enzo for your renovation works!

Alex and his Boss, Raymond provided us with excellent, out-of-the-box idea for the construction of our loft. Our Condo is small with a 4.5m ceiling height living room and hence the location of staircase is of paramount importance. We went through ideas with numerous ID companies but Raymond's idea suit our requirements the most and the final product proved that it really worked. We worked with Alex on all the detailing and selection of materials and colour schemes. He is practical and patient to explain all the colour suggestions and accomodated to our constant changing of colour. He even bought the materials to our home for our re-selection in the late evening upon our request. The company has a team of regular subcontractors that work amiably with each other and communicate well which is very important for an ID Contractor. After sales service is also excellent. Alex continues to attend to our request to do touching up work even after handing over.

One of the reasons we picked The design practice because Enzo was very prompt in his response. We met up many times to discuss the design. Enzo had been very patient when we wanted to change something and he gave good suggestions and advice. Workmanship is also good, however there were some small areas that were not well done but he followed up and fixed them. We love the design of the house and i dont think there is any part of the design that we do not love.

I engaged Enzo of The Design Practice for renovation works in my kitchen (wet and dry) and roof deck. He also managed the painting works. Through the process, I was impressed with Enzo’s professionalism. He was responsive, competent, creative and a great problem solver. I was most grateful when he eased the inconvenience of the renovation process for my family and I by staging the works such that it would cause minimal disruptions to our daily lives - specifically, minimising downtime inside the house by deploying max number of workers; also ensuring that various jobs take place concurrently, in different areas of the house. I was most pleasantly surprised that he was able to find ways for cost savings by refurbishing my kitchen doors, and sourcing for materials at a good price. I’ve frequently been told to be wary of contractors who are unscrupulous or tardy, but Im very glad that my experience with The Design Practice was entirely the opposite - Enzo was sincere, and delivered his work in a timely manner. What’s even better was that charges were very reasonable too!

I went through a couple of IDs before settling on TDP. As I already had most of the design direction and minor works (resale condo) , TDP was the best option for us as their project management fees are manageable. Enzo was the one who helped us on the quotation and it was the most detailed one amongst the rest. He was also technically savvy and able to explain the details and options to us. The renov process was also well handled by Alex who was extremely responsive, responsible and kept to the timelines we wanted. He also coordinated well with external vendors whom we engaged overselves. Overall, we had a really good experience working with them and would highly recommend anyone who requires a good ID project management firm to remove the stress from doing a home renovation!

Our experience with The Design Practice has been great! Alex and his team were a bunch of responsible and amazing IDs and we’re very satisfied with the results of their hard work and effort. During the process, Alex was extremely responsive to our needs and accommodating to all our requests. He was able to provide advices that were informative and useful in helping us make informed decisions. Furthermore, Alex always go the extra mile to assist us and supervised personally on site and kept us updated regularly on the progress. Overall, I would say The Design Practice uses very good carpentry works for the kitchen cabinets, countertop, tv console and featured wall. I would definitely recommend Alex for his great service! Both my husband and I would like to express our gratitude towards our Interior Designer Mr. Enzo from The Design Practice. As both of us are having businesses in both Singapore and Malaysia, we’re residing in both countries as well. Basically we are only staying in Singapore maximum 7 days a month. Enzo from The Design Practice and few other IDs from different companies contacted me after I registered my account in Qantas. We met one ID from another firm initially. She wasted our $2000 and almost two months time waiting for the 3D drawings. I then got in touch with Enzo and arranged for a meet up and discussion. Both my hubby and I are so pleased and glad that we had Enzo to take care of our 5rm HDB renovation works. We were in Malaysia and overseas for business trips throughout the whole renovation period. We had never ever step into our HDB to monitor the work progress as Enzo would take care of everything for us. Enzo is a very helpful, kind, articulate, knowledgeable person. He would respond to our WhatsApp enquiries typically within an hour. Enzo took every small details into considerations and would recommend the best material based on our budget. Enzo took pride in his work and gave us his 100% attention to all our concerns. Enzo helped me with all my furnitures and fitting selections and even helped me to arrange for electrical appliances deliveries and also installation of my digital lock on the grille and wooden door. Oh yes, not to forget that he actually took the extra miles to help me to purchase nice chandelier and dinning light from Johor Bahru. He helped me to look for curtain vendor from JB too. He’s a very resourceful person and would always do his best to help his clients to save cost. I would strongly recommend The Design Practice and Mr. Enzo as your ID if you want a stress free renovation experience. Never heard of anyone having stress free renovation? You should try them out. I am sure that this would be the best choice for your renovation journey.

Finding the right ID was very important for us because we had a strict budget to keep to, yet much that needed redoing to the resale flat we bought. Evangeline was able to not only work within our design preferences but also help us get the most value for money for materials and fittings. One thing we had to consider was whether to spend on new windows.. it would have cost us additional $7000 just to get the approvals and new windows and grills. But Evangeline came and inspected the ones we had and found a solution around it by making good the window grill locks and hinges saving us a lot! The process was very clearly explained to us, and transparent. We appreciated very much how well communications were done and the project management was excellent from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier with the work done for our home and would definitely recommend Evangeline and TDP to anyone. :)

We selected The Design Practice (TDP) after evaluating 5-6 design firms. Raymond has provided lots of useful advice even though we have our own theme in mind. There were quite a few rounds of design reviews and TDP was patient and communicates in timely fashion. The renovation went according to plan and we are certainly happy with our new home. While there were some quality issues or some aspects need to be rectified over the course of the renovation, TDP was able to respond well and take care of those quickly. Overall, we had a good experience with TDP.
