This is our second time engaging Marcus from Jubilee Interior, and once again he exceeded both my husband’s and my expectations. Marcus is always well prepared for every discussion, helping us shortlist everything from tiles to the smallest accessories beforehand, allowing us to make decisions quickly without having to browse through endless options. He is incredibly organised, meticulous, and creative, and genuinely tries to work within budget without compromising on quality. Marcus clearly takes great pride in his designs, workmanship, and every detail of the project. He even went the extra mile to help us source furniture and assisted extensively with furnishing, which made the entire renovation process so much easier for us. The project was completed ahead of schedule, which speaks volumes about his planning and professionalism. Even his own painter had nothing but praise, saying Marcus’s standards and customer service are truly gold class. It’s rare to find someone so dependable and detail-oriented in home renovation. I would not hesitate to recommend him, and big thank you Marcus for journeying and giving us such a beautiful home!

This is our second time renovating our new home with Marcus. We like how he has a good eye for details and is also very experienced and professional in his field. We noticed that he has a good team of skilled workers who provide excellent work and the materials they use are of very good quality that will last decades. Even though we had a rough timeline for the completion of our latest renovation project, Marcus mananged to seamlessly plan and coordinate all the works so that we did not need to worry about anything at all! He will constantly update us on what has been done and what is coming up in the next few days leading up to the completion of our project. There are also good design ideas that he proposed to make our home not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. He even advised us on choices to help lessen our renovation budget, which he knows is important to us. In the end, we were extremely surprised and delighted that our project was completed at a much earlier date than it was expected! We are very blessed to have Marcus' help for both our renovation projects and would highly recommend him to those who wants a peace of mind for their renovation journey.

The entire experience was pleasant and above my expectations. Before looking for an ID, I had previously heard of comments online and from friends who had renovated their homes before and had warned me of the possible encounters with renovation company and IDs. Thank God I had experienced none of what they had told me. Marcus was very detailed, professional and easy to work with. So much so that I seems to be overly zealous at times. He had a good working relationship with all his sub contractors. And because of that, my home renovation completed ahead of schedule, something that is unheard of.

Thanks to our friends who recommended Marcus to us, we had the smoothest renovation experience. As we were living overseas and wanted to renovate our place that has been tenanted out, we needed a reliable ID whom we can trust to oversee the renovation in our absence. Marcus way exceeded our expectations with his meticulous planning and proactive updates via WA throughout the 3 months’ process. Marcus was also very thorough in coordinating with his various teams to install built-in appliances for our kitchen. The end result was flawless. For our entertainment room, we had very exacting carpentry and electrical requirements in order to accommodate our sound systems. Marcus was extremely detailed and patient in confirming the dimensions, and corresponded with us via WA late into the night sometimes due to the time zone difference. We are so glad to have met and engaged Marcus. He kept to the schedule perfectly and ensured that we were able to relocate back to a well-renovated and cleaned apartment.

Dear Reader, I have been living in current place for about 10 years and had not been happy with the current setup. As it is, the space was already very limited and yet a big-sized island was placed in the living hall, that the electrical appliances provided by Far East were big in size and not practical to small family like us, e.g. the fridge was big but storage space was extremely limited and a couple of them were unnecessary, e.g. the wine chiller and a microwave oven on top of the conventional oven. Finally, we decided to have a major makeover of our current place. My friends recommended two Interior Designers respectively. I received four from Qanvast. I met up with all of them but didn't feel comfortable, and asked Qanvast to give me more experienced Interior Designers. I finally shortlisted two Interior Designers as they seemed meticulous which is the most critical consideration for me. I chose Alice Yong of Jubilee Interior because she is more detailed-oriented and has more initiatives on many aspects of the design works even before I signed the contract, and the quotations offered are relatively reasonable. She asked many questions about our life styles and things that we were particular with, etc. especially when we have budget constraints. It is indeed very fortunate to have Alice during the course of the renovation as my husband and I are very busy in our jobs. She is practically at the site almost everyday, and bothered to have video calls with her teams of contractors even during her short vacation. She also supervised the aircon contractor whom we engaged ourselves. She would keep the place clean and tidy each job was completed. I told her there is no necessity to do so, just clean before the contractors left my place but she insisted so that there would be no disputes amongst the contractors as in who caused the unsatisfactory works. I supposed that really kept the contractors in check. There were two challenges we faced, one is the marble flooring beneath the island, and the other is our Kangen filtered water machine. The model of the marble floor provided by the condo management is just a generic name. Alice had to call up all the marble flooring suppliers, and made trips to personally look at the physical marble to ensure it matched with our existing marble flooring. The outcome is really impressive, one can barely tell the difference. The Kangen filtered water machine was placed on the island where the acid water was collected in the basin. Alice mentioned it was a wastage of space to have 2 basins on the kitchen countertop which I totally agreed. However, it was not easy to find the adaptor to connect the water inlet and outlet. So she went to Kangen office and consulted the staff there. Now my Kangen machine is neatly placed on the nice sintered stone countertop with the acid water collected below the basin via a storage container. The basin recommended by Alice is really very functional and it's so easy to maintain. I have just recommended Alice to a friend who is in the midst of looking for a reliable Interior Designer. Alice worked on our home just like her own. She would go all way out to ensure the issues that we flagged out to her, are duly resolved to our satisfactions, even after all the jobs are completed and handed over. We can feel her dedication and passion during the entire course of renovation and the after-service is also exceptional which we are truly grateful for. Anyone were to ask me for Interior Designer recommendation, it's definitely Alice Yong from Jubilee Interior.

Before engaging Marcus from Jubilee Interior, we had a difficult experience with our previous interior designer who failed to complete the project, leading us to terminate their services. Fortunately, we met Marcus, and we are extremely grateful to him for taking over and completing our home despite our tight timeline. From the initial consultation to the completion of the renovation, the entire process was smooth and well-managed. Marcus was consistently prompt with his updates and follow-ups, and he delivered quality workmanship that met all our expectations for our new home. We are truly grateful to Marcus who provided us with such a smooth renovation journey.

Alice Yong was my ID. I must say that she was the most professional, responsive, reliable and trustworthy ID I've ever liase with. She took care of every single details of my house renovation that I don't have to worry at all when I'm at work. Her after sales service is excellent, she's quick to response and rectify any problem even after 6 months I moved in. I highly recommend her because she is really trustworthy.

We were looking to renovate a 12 year old, 1,500+ sqft resale condominium unit we bought. While the condition was not exactly run down, we had a few ideas on how we wanted to renovate the place, including converting the dry kitchen space to a dining area. Through Qanvast, we were referred five ID firms to choose from. While all five firms were very professional and had their respective strengths and weaknesses, we decided to pick Jubilee and Marcus. Jubilee's quotation was not the lowest nor was it the highest. However, we chose it because Marcus came across as a very responsive, sincere and reliable ID. We needed him to complete the renovation before CNY, which was end of Jan this year, so the timeline was quite tight. Marcus was not able to commit to the deadline initially. Subsequently, I found this was part of Marcus's "under promise over deliver" ethos. Marcus provided us a schedule of the various renovation process, from the initial hacking, electrical works, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, painting, etc and he was able to not only stick to the schedule, but delivered ahead of schedule. Unavoidably, there were some hiccups along the way like any renovation projects but Marcus was able to come up with acceptable alternatives. As the renovation progressed, we also changed our minds about certain things. Marcus was able to accommodate these changes where appropriate but also offered his views candidly if he thought they were not so appropriate. The renovation was completed well ahead of schedule, allowing us to move in before CNY. The quality of the work was good. Marcus was also very responsive to any minor rectifications necessary after handing over the unit and being paid in full. After hearing horror stories of renovation gone wrong, we are glad to have engaged Jubilee and Marcus for our renovation within a reasonable budget.

I couldn't be more thrilled with the results of our recent renovation! The project was not only completed earlier than the estimated timeline, but the quality of work exceeded all our expectations. I’m a returning customer with no regrets and there is a reason for it. Marcus and his team has been professional and patient throughout our engagement. They came up with the overall theme of my new home, welcome feedbacks based on our living habits and made adjustments without compromising the overall look and feel of the place. The team completed the project on time even though there were delays from our end (not theirs). Yet, their carpentry workmanship is solid and with great design. Jimmy was the ID for the renovation of my aunty’s 2 room BTO flat. He is knowledgeable and was able to give us ideas on the renovation eg. Suitable type of tabletop & colour combination of the wall paint and carpentry. When there were issues, he also worked with carpenter etc to get them fixed within the week. He also took initiative to provide us with updates and progress of the renovation. My aunty is happy with the end product. Jimmy is a patient and humble man, who was willing to listen to my aunty’s requests and offer solutions if needed. Our experience with him was great as jimmy helped to ensure the Reno went smoothly without any major issues and we did not have to worry or keep checking the progress.
