Klein Interior wasn't pushy to close sales. Gary was very patient to understand my requirements, needs and budget. Throughout the 7 months of discussion, I felt very comfortable expressing my ideas; Gary also gave pragmatic advise and not pushing his ideas through. Modern, playful and creative designs merged with functionality. He was also spot on when it came to tiles, paint colors etc. When it came to the execution, Sandra played an important role. She was detailed, and a good time controller. Timely updates were provided to me, and importantly, she listened and made rectification/touch up accordingly. I know my renovation would be in good hands. Great work by Klein Interior!

We are fortunate to have Gary as our ID. Doing renovation in the middle of a pandemic is not one would have wished for, but Gary & Sandra gave us a peace of mind. They did a fantastic job and passionately did the magic to our house. Gary's idea of creating a home with form and functionality allows us to view things from a different perspective. His feedback and suggestions contributes to the final outcome. The renovation went smoothly, and we have to give credit to Sandra for it. Sandra is always on the ground to ensure things get done properly. She also answers our queries very promptly. To future home owners, I strongly recommend Klein Interiors!

Gary is a passionate and genuine Interior Designer. He shows sincerity when he works and suggesting ideas. Before meeting Gary, we’ve met a few other IDs. Gary outshined the rest in terms of practicality and his working style of not being pushy. He does not hard sell. In the process of designing our matrimonial house, he would provide us with both pros and cons of the things we want, share what he thinks is best or suggest something better, and leave the final decision to us. He is also able to build good rapport with both of us, hence making us feel comfortable to work with him and he is always open to new ideas. We were touched that even though we were not in a rush to have our house completed as soon as possible, he was kind enough to suggest working towards having our house completed before Hari Raya, so that we could have our family over for Hari Raya celebration. Planning and execution of work was done smoothly. Apart from Gary, we also work with Sandra. Sandra is a meticulous and detailed person in delivering her work. She is also efficient and would give us regular updates on the daily work done by contractors. She would do regular on site visit and update us with photos of our renovation work progress. In the midst of our renovation work, Circuit Breaker happens and our renovation had to be halted. Gary would occasionally whatsapp us to ask how are we coping and even asked if we had enough masks and hand sanitisers. This goes to show that Gary’s service goes beyond renovation. Like any other clients who engage any IDs, we were also worried whether we were able to continue with our renovation works. To our amazement, Gary and Sandra managed to get contractors soon after Circuit Breaker ends. The progress of our house was fast. We were really thankful to have an ID who takes even minor work seriously. Even before we quality check the renovation work, he would quality check it first. He also have great emphasis on post-renovation service, if any. Overall, we are really thankful to have met and worked with 2 genuine and sincere IDs who goes all out in delivering their best. Like many others, we were initially worried if we have made the right choice of ID, after hearing so many nightmare renovation stories. Gary and Sandra never disappoint us, and we can’t emphasise more on how reliable they are, even during this pandemic.

Home renovation is a daunting and long-drawn project, especially for first-time homeowners like ourselves with near-zero knowledge of the practicalities behind interior design. Like everyone else that came before us, we wanted both an aesthetic that gave voice to our characters and a practicality that offered utmost comfort. Above all, we wanted to balance aesthetic and practicality with affordability. This was a tall order but Klein Interiors found the perfect balance among these three considerations. Gary made the effort to establish strong rapport and prioritize our needs, not just in terms of style but our lifestyle and personality. He communicated simply and truthfully, and in this we saw experience and honesty in his craft. He gave long-term practical recommendations arisen not only from a theoretical or technical standpoint, but also as a Singaporean living in a similar apartment not unlike ours. Most importantly, he gave us the creative space to realize our vision – allowing us to co-create with him rather than assuming a generic design that he may be used to. Gary worked closely with Sandra as the project started, and we quickly realized how ill-equipped we were to the whole process. Gary and Sandra were able to allay our anxieties with an open, frequent line of communication. At every stage, we were able to monitor the progress and make minor changes where inevitable mishaps and oversights occurred. It is also evident in their friendliness and post-renovation follow up that they place their clients (rather than the job) at the forefront of their work. In the months after moving in, they kept in contact to ensure that everything was going smoothly and were timely in carrying out minor rectification works on house items that could have only been realized after a period of living-in. They are always approachable and keen to help, and often look beyond the query mentioned to consider related aspects that the layperson is unaware of. It is a stark reflection of their professionalism as interior designers thoughtfulness as individuals. The experience with Klein Interiors was a very positive one, especially for first-time homeowners like ourselves. We took away more than just a beautiful home that we are proud of, but also the many lessons drawn from Gary’s and Sandra’s subject matter expertise.

Our choice to go with Klein was mostly due to Gary's attentiveness to our requests. We approached a couple of other firms but we felt that our ideas were being shot down in favour of their own preferred approach. Our project was a complete start-from-scratch one, a full renovation of a 30+ year-old HDB flat in its original condition. Gary's very good at creatively drawing out the ideas in our heads and he is full of ideas on how to make the ideas work. He also provided a very personal touch, visiting us in the late evenings and sacrificing his weekends to work around our schedule which is a difficult one as we are working parents. We also worked with Sandra, who is very efficient at managing their suppliers and arranging appointments. She is also very detail-oriented, which is a good balance to Gary's big-picture approach. They are both very flexible to change requests as well. We find the overall service and workmanship of their contractors good, some overseeing is required to ensure the requirements are adhered to. Post-completion, they have attended to some touch-up works as well over the past few months, no questions asked. Overall, we are very satisfied with Klein and would recommend them, they provide that personal touch that seems to be lacking nowadays with the bigger firms. Gary was recommended to me by my brother, who was a long time friend of Gary. Gary comes with excellent service and is very very responsive whenever I have queries with regards to the layout and design during the planning stage. He has also provided me with a lot of advice on space saving ideas. Sandra who was project managing has been accommodating to my various requests during the installation stage of the renovation. She managed the work schedule very well and see to my requests have been met despite some changes and add on along the way. One thing I have to highlight is that the workmanship of the carpentry is good.

Excellent service and workmanship. Sandra is very professional and her ideas are very fresh and unique. She is independent and reliable, I can put my mind at ease when she handled our project. We are blessed to have good experience in our renovation journey.

We were impressed by how the designer Gary blended our main business nature into interior design of our office. By understanding our needs, they had come out fantastic space planning and unique design using steel structure framing as one of the main design feature. We were impressed by their idea for our huge feature wall, which they brilliantly designed it with our metal roof products and enhanced our company branding with specially designed signboard. Our office turned out not only a fully functional office, it also provides cosy spaces where our staff can relax and socialise. The overall project was satisfactorily carried out within the schedule and budget which was thought impossible. Thanks to the great efforts by Gary and Sandra!

Gary is extremely friendly and approachable, and does his best both in terms of design as well as in providing alternatives should the need arise. He is also highly responsive and although busy at times, he will always get back to us once he has settled what he might have at the moment. Some ideas we thought of seems really nice to have but Gary pointed out that it is nice to have but doesn't really suit our needs and might stretch our budget. We appreciate such honesty and not just agreeing to all our wild ideas. He has not only taken care of all our ID needs for our first home, but also provided excellent aftercare service even now, 6 years after completion. 10/10 will recommend!

My ID Gary has been very approachable, patient and helpful through the entire renovation process. He has contributed valuable and useful ideas to increase the storage in our apartment, which came with a very high ceiling and pretty narrow spaces with tiny rooms. Communication has been a breeze. Project management was also pretty well handled despite a little delay. We are pretty satisfied with the workmanship as well. Thank you for maximizing the storage space and usage area for our new place!
