My wife and I chanced upon 19 Eighty Three on Instagram and were instantly drawn to the aesthetic of their projects. We were fortunate to be paired with Jun Yuan as our Interior Designer, and the entire journey — from concept to completion — was seamless and efficient. Jun Yuan was consistently professional, attentive, and detail-oriented. He listened carefully to our requirements, offered thoughtful recommendations, and provided the reassurance we needed as first-time homeowners. His background in architecture was a definite plus, as the end result was a great balance between timeless design and everyday functionality. Despite our hectic schedules, the renovation only required two Zoom calls and two in-person meetings — we were that comfortable and confident to leave it in his good hands and he certainly delivered beyond expectations! A special shoutout to William from Cloverspace (19 Eighty Three’s partner company), who handled the project management impeccably. He kept us informed with timely updates, resolved hiccups/issues swiftly, and even assisted with the little things like appliance installation and liaising with external vendors. Thanks to the team’s good work, we were able to move in ahead of schedule — within just 2 to 3 months from key collection. But it’s worth noting that 19 Eighty Three is not the cheapest as they are priced at the higher end of the market. But you will be paying for the quality, thoughtful design, and peace of mind they offer — especially in an industry where renovation horror stories are all too common. We would definitely recommend 19 Eighty Three to our friends and family!

We have decided to work with Ben of 19EightyThree because we really liked what we saw on their Instagram. Ben and his team were great to work with, and nothing seemed too much bother. Ben’s vision of what we were looking for was perfect. Thanks to Ben and his excellent team, we now have a lovely home which is a pleasure to be in. I could not recommend the services of 19EightyThree highly enough to anybody thinking about bringing their dream home to life. We engaged Ben twice in a year and that speaks alot. 19EightyThree is such a unique ID that they take care of everything, evening furnishing. To the point is already move in condition once renovation complete. We love Ben's creativity and his aesthetic eyes. They do quality work . Guest that came to my 1st house always comment that my ID do a great job , everything is "solid" . My 1st house was like a showroom as commented by many people as well as my property agent, who has big confidence to sell my house. Indeed I sold my place in 3 days, therefore engaged Ben again for my current place (as in photos). It is the most fuss free ID I ever work with, 100％ trust worthy and responsive. His Team member Bow did a great job to style my place..totally love it. I would like to comment on Clover Space who has super good workmanship.. @william who are super helpful and responsive even after reno is over..I highly recommend 19EightyThree, Ben and his team did a super good job..

Home renovation in Singapore is fraught with risk and uncertainty. My spouse found 19 eighty three on Instagram and Ben's work resonated with us. From our very first meeting, Ben and Christie made every effort to listen, understand our needs, and turn our vision into a beautiful, livable reality. They completely transformed our space which had previously been rented out since TOP - not just visually, but in terms of how we experience it every day. What impressed us most was the balance between aesthetics and practicality. As busy professionals, we needed spaces that were both stylish and functional - and 19 eighty three delivered on both fronts. Together with their partner Clover Space, they managed the project with professionalism, kept us in the loop at every stage, and were always open to feedback. We were running on a strict timeline and budget - Ben drew up a clear and realistic schedule of works which was delivered on precisely. Where defects were present, they were proactively and promptly rectified. They do honour the 1 year warranty on their work. In all candour, their charges are on high side which begin from the mood board and 3D render, reflective of the cost of doing business in Singapore. There were moments where we wondered if we were paying too much and we had to cut back on certain things we wanted to do initially and compensate by being more proactive and hands on in sourcing for lighting, switches and sockets on our own. The design decisions went through several rounds of deliberation and from our experience, it required equal parts our input and Ben's. You still have to be proactive in deciding what you will be living with but not micromanage to the point of stifling Ben's creativity. Ben's eye for color, texture, and layout made our home feel warm, inviting, and uniquely “us.” Whether it was bespoke furniture choices, lighting recommendations, or smart storage solutions, every detail was thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed. In this regard, the electrical, lighting and elevation drawings for built in carpentry were done meticulously and professionally which we learnt was absolutely crucial to achieving the promised end result. We get compliments on our home all the time, and we owe that to their incredible talent and dedication to their work. If you're looking to transform your house into a home that you enjoy coming back to and not want to leave, I wholeheartedly recommend them. It was not a trivial sum but worth every cent for us in terms of time and accountability.

Jun Yuan has been a wonderful ID and advisor for our renovation journey. Design knowledge and skill sets are fantastic. Start to finish process was smooth and informative. Ben is our creative mastermind behind our monochrome themed house. We approached Ben with not many ideas but only the theme. It didn’t take him long to produce the mood board and presented the elements and details of the design. We were convinced by his passion and dedication in his work from design to transparent communication between CloverSpace and us to completion of the renovation. Ben does not mince his thoughts and will openly express his opinion yet allowing us to provide feedback to our preference. This is the reason why we chose him for his flair in design and eye for details. We're impressed with the team at 19eightythree for working together to turn our house into a living space called home. Shi Hwei and team had a consistent track record and they delivered yet again! I first chanced upon 19eightythree when I was browsing Qanvast. Their portfolio are actual photos, not 3D renderings, and yet very captivating. The use of lightings and the details of the carpentry is very subtle yet on point. It is obvious that they pay attention to every detail. Their pricing is unique and transparent. They included furnishings such as sofa, curtains and lightings in the budget, and they do not give you the most basic quote and ask you to top up for premium materials halfway through the renovation. They also ask for your budget upfront and advise if it is feasible or what has to be compromised (eg buy loose furnishing instead of built in) before renovation. This makes the reno journey more enjoyable as we don’t have to worry if there will be hidden costs along the way. Shi Hwei was able to give us very good design advice and ideas, and the end product is so much more than I’ve ever imagined even with my extensive online research. She is very detailed in her designs, and she spent a lot of effort shortlisting suitable materials for us. For our tv console, she hopped a couple of shops, shamelessly asked for 500+ samples before shortlisting 5 for us to choose from. This was very different from my past reno experience when I was just given a catalogue and I had to imagine what the end product will be like. Shi Hwei and the Cloverspace team is also very responsive, always trying to answer our questions, and during renovations, we would receive updates of what’s going on. Despite the tight timeline, the team was able to readjust the schedule so that we could move in on time. As expected of any reno, there will always be things that require rectifications. Shi Hwei and team would rectify straight away, sometimes even without our prompting. That’s the level of professionalism they exude! We certainly have a very enjoyable renovation journey with Shi Hwei and team, and I’d highly recommend them.

We choose Ben as our ID because his past projects always give us the right feeling that we wanted. Working with Ben is easy and hassle free. Just by giving him the a rough idea on how we want for our house and he is able to deliver something amazing. He Bao almost everything for us, from choosing of wallpaper , tiles , lighting and furnishing etc ... making my renovation such a Breeze .... In the end, the final product is Tok Gong too. When me and my wife were looking around for an ID and we came across 19 Eighty Three portfolio and immediate felt in love with their works but what made us engaged them was the fact that they are home designers and they love what they do. For our home design, we wanted a modern resort theme but we were blank of ideas (research too much) but Bow as our Designer, she was able to bring forward a design and concept for our home that we both loved. I must say that she has a good eye for matching different colors, materials and elements, that is bold but yet subtle. To top it off, the whole experience was very transparent, from the cost to the schedule and we were constantly updated of the progress. It's very much a hands off process for us and at the end of the day, we got our dream home. Bow and her team was able to bring forward a design to life. I have seen many of Ben’s work and I like what I see so it was a natural choice to let him design our home. As we are very busy, we let him handle everything from start to finish. He was very transparent with his costing and explained very clearly on the renovation process. We told him our expectation and the mood board design he came up with was exactly what we wanted. After selecting the materials and colours etc, he quickly kickoff with the renovation to meet our timeline. His recommendation and service are excellent. No matter the issue, no matter the time, no matter the place, Ben and SH will get it done! They will constantly feedback to you on the status with pictures and videos so you know things are getting done. Ben has an eye for detail and will directly get the contractor to change things when it doesn’t meet his expectation, so you don’t have to worry! For bigger issues he will inform you and suggest options with his rationale and that made deciding so much easier! Any queries you may have will be answered almost immediately which is impressive. My partner and I worked with Ben for the renovation and styling of our new apartment. When shopping around for an ID, Ben was transparent in terms of feasibility of some initial ideas we had, and also in terms of the deliverable given our budget. We felt comfortable, and decided to entrust him with the renovation. His designs were well thought through, and took our lifestyle requirements into consideration. Throughout the renovation process, Ben handled it really well, and provided us with constant updates to put our minds at ease. As with any renovation projects, hiccups were bound to happen. Solutions were provided quickly, and he was always responsive to any questions that we had. Curved sofa in a circular living room, transparent chairs and floor-to-ceiling glass panels were one of his many design elements that added so much sense of space to our new home. We were also happy with 19EightyThree and Bowerman's partnership on our project. Cost breakdown and renovation schedule were completely transparent. Furnishing, colours and aesthetic details were meticulously shortlisted by Ben—with design rationale were fully explained to help guide our final decisions. Communication with Ben and his team was never an issue. He allayed all concerns and helped rectify hiccups along the way. Post project rectifications were completed so quickly—I was so surprised that they were all able to work around our schedule.
