My family & I recently had the pleasure of working with Cheryl & Liting from Honeycomb Design Studio for a home renovation project, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. 1) Cost (4/5) The cost management offered by Honeycomb Design Studio was remarkably transparent. Their ability to provide a comprehensive cost breakdown and adhering to the budget was commendable. They exhibited a commitment to cost-effectiveness while ensuring that the quality remained uncompromised. Although there were some unexpected additional costs that cropped up during the project, but we were happy to be able to get our desired home at the end of it. 2) Service (5/5) The level of service I received from Cheryl & Liting was nothing short of exemplary. The duo were consistently professional, responsive, and fully dedicated to ensuring our satisfaction throughout the entire project. Their approach was marked by active listening, making me feel included in the decision-making process. Their friendly and accommodating manner made the renovation process an absolute pleasure. 3) Workmanship/Design (4/5) Cheryl & Liting presented fresh and innovative ideas that transformed our living space into something truly remarkable. Their design team displayed meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a final product that far exceeded our expectations. We now have a home that is not only functionally outstanding but also aesthetically pleasing.The workmanship displayed was mostly top-notch, but there were some minor finishing issues that needed addressing.However, they were quick to rectify these. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with Cheryl & Liting and we would recommend them to our friends/family!

Joseph's expertise was crucial in navigating the structural challenges of our older home. He demonstrated a unique blend of technical skill and creative problem-solving, ensuring that each hurdle was transformed into an opportunity for enhancement. His approach was systematic yet flexible, adapting to the intricacies of the project while maintaining a high standard of quality and aesthetics. Cheryl & liting have great ideas and will patiently listen to my requirements / needs and came out with a design the way i wanted. They are also open to changes. Love that they are open to trying new things, listen to clients and do not produce cookie-cutter designs. Very pleased with how things turned out & love the colour palette suggested by them. My impeding project that was meant to start in mid March is currently severely impeded by Honeycomb owing to its owners poor business ethics, lack of honesty and professionalism. It’s a blessing no actual site work commenced but there is already enough drama to cause extreme distress for me to place another ID in short notice. Please be extremely wary of this firm where they will make you sign multiple quotations under different entities and citing nonsensical reasons to do so. The end result, is you as consumer will be exposed to high consumer risks. This has now left me with no choice but to pursue next steps legally to be compensated for the unnecessary distress and inconvenience. I am doing this as I felt it is a duty of care to share this precautionary message to those interested in enquiring with Honeycomb and the Qanvast community in general.

Promised many things at the start, tried to max out budget given instead of trying to work with what was practical or not - I came away feeling like they only wanted to drive up their profit margin. Extremely high mark up for several items which I tried to close one eye to, since I wanted a speedy and efficient job and was hoping they could do so as promised. Extremely poor communication. Changed out items in the quote without informing - lower quality ones at that. I had to inspect myself and raise it up for them to then offer ridiculous refund amounts. Example - switched out agreed LG brand of aircon to Gree WITHOUT checking first. They just went ahead and installed it and did not even try to initiate a refund from the lower price point. used poor quality/unsuitable vinyl flooring for a portion of the unit, resulting in poor adherance and loud sounds when walking. Swapped to a better variant for the other half of the unit - DID NOT inform of the poor suitability of the other vinyl and I had to inspect myself and ask again why there were 2 separate colours. Mind you they have a huge mark up on the flooring yet were unwilling to remove the poor quality portion to make the entire place uniform. Extremely poor carpentry work that was not only late, but shoddy, rough and extremely poor quality overall. As per other items, it came with an extremely huge mark up. I can go on and on with how poor the project was managed overall. Avoid.

I got to know our designer Cheryl through a friend's recommendation, and the entire experience of working with her was nothing short of perfection. 1. Her prompt communication, attentiveness to our preferences, and willingness to go above and beyond to address any concerns or queries made the entire journey seamless and enjoyable. She made sure we were involved at every step, ensuring that our vision was brought to life with precision and care. 3. Design: Cheryl's creative prowess and eye for detail truly set her apart. The designs she proposed were not only in line with our preferences but also added a unique touch that elevated the overall ambiance of our home. Her ability to blend modern trends with our personal style preferences resulted in a space that is both inviting and aesthetically stunning, surpassing all our expectations. 4. Workmanship: We have moved in since February this year, and I can say that the workmanship provided by Cheryl's team is definitely high quality. I have no complaints on any of the work done. Working with Cheryl was an absolute pleasure, and we are incredibly grateful for her expertise and dedication in making our dream home a reality. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking an interior designer who not only delivers exceptional results but also prioritizes client satisfaction at every step of the journey.

Hired Joseph to renovate my cafe after my last project with them and was glad I kept in contact with them. This time round the budget was limited because its a new start up cafe but Joseph didnt limit the aesthetics just because of the funding, instead he went out of the box for many segments and created very innovative experience that makes the sets very functional. Thanks for crafting our dream and hopefully this won't be the last cafe we will design together!

Finished our renovation with Honeycomb last month and had a great experience. We renovated my 4 room bto and wanted a luxurious industrial theme and Jeff gave a great interpretation that we love. We spent about 70k but that involved a lot of carpentry work that was designed for our needs. We opted for a few carpentry choices that helped to save space instead of heavy bulky furnitures, such things include a more functional and evolvable room for our kid since they grow up so fast. One of our favourite spots is the dining space with a nook carved ouut with a curved wall decorated with a rocky glistening texture, it really draws the home in and it means a lot because we love family time through dining together. This was one of the main ideas that made us decide to sign with Jeff because felt that he understood our needs and that really made us want to work with him. Overall we dont have any qualms with the services provided and would absolutely recommend anyone who needs a good listening designer to hit Jeff up.

I reached out to Honeycomb again because Im renovating my shop and I had such a great time renovating my home. Its an ice cream cafe and the theme was industrial with a grungey spunk and I would say Joseph totally achieved what I desired and I am really happy. My favorite part is the instagrammable wall with the faux brick that draws in so much crowd for us. I was very wary at first because industrial is a difficult style to achieve without looking too rugged and drab but I think the great carpentry and skills really helped pull it off. It was nice chatting with them again and glad to see them do so well after 2 years. :)

Got in touch with Jane via Angela a while back and had a great experience working with her. I would say her skills as a designer is top notch and her approach is quite fresh. Its my second home so im basing everything off of my first, which might be outdated, but good service is good service. From initial consultation to final checks, Jane and her team including a few designers she brought along here and there were very on the ball and help to keep our vision alive. I think one of the stand out traits of hers is that she has a very sharp attention to detail, so she considers everything from aesthetic to function, even tiny little aspects like the colour or texture of the platform that held our power switch. Jane has a very artistic taste so we end up loving all our furnitures because we wanted a high end luxe feel to the home, and we are glad we asked Jane to help us out with styling. Had a great time renovating our home, will reach out again. Also thanks to Angela for helping us with so much at the start of the booking.

Got in touch with Honeycomb to renovate my family home and wanted to write in to share my review of their services. Overall I had a great experience without much issues, had a pleasant time and loved the time shared with them. My codesigners were Cheryl and Liting and they were professional from the start till the end. I opted for a more expensive budget because it was my family home so we had more funding to play around with and we decided on a luxe contemporary vision. We had custom made a few furniture sets and the carpentry is impeccable to say the least. But the overall beauty really was brought on when the designers sstarted suggesting brand of deco to style the place with, we really could not have done it without their keen eyes. Amazing job to them, much kudos!

Excellent experience with Jane from Honeycomb renovating my home. I reached out because I always patronise this shophouse at Ubi and I asked the owner to recommend me their ID and he gave me the number to Honeycomb and talked to Angela. Got assigned to Jane and settled everything within a week or two. This young lady is very driven and talented, very professional with the way she approached her new clients and I felt compelled to hire her for my home. I think she achieved the style I wanted and exceeded all expectations; modern luxury with a bit of wabisabi and I feel like im living in a posh Japanese mansion every single day. We did this during the few months before cny and we were so thankful jane tried to finish everything before Jan so we could usher the new year with our fresh designed home.
