Haikal was detailed and professional from the get go. Constant updates, reminders and an all round professionalism left us feeling secure and confident. As with all projects, problems will arise, Haikal shined at not only providing solutions, but solving problems.

We recently had the pleasure of working with GoodStudio for our home, and we are thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. From the start, designers Haikal and Amy stood out as fantastic collaborators. Their ability to listen carefully to my needs and then translate them into practical yet aesthetically pleasing solutions was exceptional. One of the aspects we appreciated most was their transparency with pricing. There were no hidden costs or last-minute surprises, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. This level of openness helped build a strong sense of trust early on in the project. Haikal and Amy also brought a great balance of creativity and functionality to the table. They ensured that every design decision not only enhanced the visual appeal of the space but also served a practical purpose, making the space both beautiful and livable. Their attention to detail was second to none, as they considered everything from colour palettes to spatial layouts to ensure that the design flowed seamlessly. Throughout the project, they were highly communicative, keeping me informed of progress at every step and making sure my input was valued. Amy and Haikal had set up meeting with me to discuss my renovation needs shortly after they got my contact through Qanvast. They were open to take up this project even though it was small scale (kitchen cabinet, painting, electrical works for resale 3-rm). Amy's design was customised to ensure the design/colours match the existing furniture/fittings. Haikal was responsive throughout the whole project, kept me updated on the progress and ensured things run smoothly. He was open to share his views on the feasibility of the designs and transparent about the cost.

My condo unit TOPed, and I needed some work done, but wanted to ensure I could be as sustainable/ environmentally friendly as possible. Very few IDs understood to concept of "sustainability", so I was glad I found Haikal, who runs goodStudio. So he understood upcycled furniture, environmentally friendly paint, second hand items. In addition, he was open to the idea of providing a solution rather than just traditional ID services. This really helped as I was frequently overseas and couldn't deal with searching for items and interacting with multiple contractors. Haikal was also respectful of opinion, and not afraid to share contrasting ones too, which helped made good decisions. Budget/fees wise, it was transparent and easy to track. The job might not have been the biggest, but Haikal still ensured he provided the needed attention to gel new elements to the existing layout, and furniture that I brought in. Which I imagine can sometimes be more time consuming (compared to revamping from scratch). All in all, a good experience for me~ Especially love my upcycled display, props and second hand mirrors.

From the onset, we were aligned in terms of design concept, colour palette and materials. Throughout the whole process, Jay kept me updated and reported any issue that needed my attention. Although there were some bumps along the way, which is very normal, I was assured that the final product would be as close as to what I wanted. Eventually, everything turned out great, some even surpassing my expectations. Thank you for being on this amazing renovation journey with me!

Haikal was very patient with us as we looked at 5 different IDs before finally going with him. As he was not the first he visited, he gave us the time we needed to make our decision. Still answering all the questions we had even before we came to a decision to engage him. I liked his sincerity and also his ideas. After the first meeting, what impressed me was how he was different with other interior designers. Most interior designers will ask you what you want and plan according to that. This way would not suit us as we were unsure how we wanted it. He was able to plan the space out with something that we actually liked and also managed to improve on the initial design as well. He is quick to resolve all the problems that came up during the renovation and also answer all the questions that we had as well. Giving us pointers along the way and also letting us know if what we wanted was actually practical. I enjoyed the renovation process as well as the finished result and I am certainly happy with my house. Definitely a professional and talented ID in my opinion!

Approached goodStudio for renovation works for my 4rm HDB. Haikal provided excellent ideas and suggestions during the consultation phase, of which I took up majority of his ideas. He was also very communicative and prompt during the entire renovation. He also ensured that the renovation works proceeded as smoothly as possible. The workmanship of the renovation was top-notch. Haikal would ensure that all work are completed properly before handing over to me. I would have no problem looking for goodStudio again if I require their services again for another renovation. Working with GoodStudio has been a very positive experience. From initial consultation to understand my requirements and budget, undertaking overall hands-on management of the project and the inevitable changes to finally realising the completion of the project on time and within budget. At each step communication was clear and timely. Advice was provided throughout the process which proved invaluable while quality of materials and workmanship is good for the budget.

It's a challenge to find an ID that are honest, reliable and importantly understand our needs as a client. I read Qanvast review about an ID named Haikal and all he have done for his client and mostly are satisfied with his work. My husband do not trust ID and decided to go to contractors instead. Despite many meet up with other IDs and contractors, Haikal capture our immediate attention with his detailed 3D drawings. So we like the way he understands our needs and use his experience to advise the do and don't on the design that we want. He did not push for immediate sign up with the company and patiently guide all our queries. So finally managed to convince my husband to engaged his service. During the entire journey of our renovations process, he's promptly updating the progress and also advise on the practical stuff or designs to have and avoid unnecessary spending to stay within our budget. He goes through extra mile to informed us on the leaking that we have on the study room and toilet so true enough the previous owner mentioned that these issue seems to be persistent so Haikal advise us to check with Town council. He's detailed and meticulous on the things that capture his attention despite just doing what he's been assigned to do. We're surprised with his honesty and dedication to have the house completed in time despite the COVID situation. In overall the team have managed to deliver great coordination with good service and workmanship quality. Thank you GoodStudio :)

Engaged GoodStudio to do up a tv console cum storage cabinet. Although it is a small project but the ID, Haikal is very patience and responsive. He will try to understand my needs and give me his recommendations to ensure it meet my requirements. The workmanship of the carpentry work is good and Haikal also follow up closely on minor defects (initially I was just highlighting for his info as I understand the cabinet was fabricated in the factory and nothing much can be done). We hired goodStudio to work on our new home's renovations. Despite the fact that it is a new company, Haikal has a lot of expertise. We are really happy that we picked goodStudio as our new home. We set a strict deadline for Haikal to complete the job. However, he executed really well, finishing even ahead of schedule. I'd want to thank Haikal for that. When it comes to job quality, it is great. You simply tell him what you want, and he will make the best of it for you. He has skilled carpenters and electricians who did an excellent job for us. Haikal constantly thoroughly monitors work to ensure the quality of the job. He is also quite responsive. If you are searching for an excellent renovation company, I would definitely recommend Good Studio. I wish Haikal the best of luck with his future endeavors.

Our ID Haikal did a very professional job for us and was contactable/accommodating throughout, even from the initial enquiry. He provided us with very useful insights that helped a lot with our baby room's renovation, ensuring that the entire process was fuss-free and, more importantly, within the urgent timeline that I had requested. The final design took note of our specific requirements such as a custom bunk bed, reading nook, study desk and full-length wardrobe - although the budget was slightly exceeded, it was well worth the price as quality is something you cannot compromise on. The extensive carpentry was well-constructed due to the professionalism of the carpenters engaged, who were polite and helpful throughout even when it came to small favours like installing my bathroom ceiling light that had malfunctioned. Remarkably, Haikal was also present every time his carpenters were on-site, and it's not often that IDs take such a hands-on approach, so it was a pleasant surprise. Great job overall coupled with a great personality, and I highly recommend Goodstudio's services for anyone who's willing to pay a reasonable price for quality work.
