Kevin is a very systematic and clear contractor who is able to visualise the final outcome from the time he sees your place. This clarity in his vision before giving us the quotation made us select him. Kevin is well organised. Prepares plans and designs on time and ensures he keep to the time and dates of the plan. He helped us decide on tiles and flooring within 2 hours. He was absolutely professional and always communicable specially since we went overseas for 20 days leaving our house to him. In our absence, he ensure he sent us pics and videos to provide us with progress of the work and kept us well informed. There were some decision which needed changes in our absence.. he was very clear in his communication thru video messages and also provided options on the solutions available ...which helped us quickly decide without any second thoughts. He is also very solution oriented.. he was able to suggested a seating in the bathroom to cover a exposed pipe instead of doing the whole wall which we thgt was a brilliant suggestion saving costs as well. He had clearly worked on time and within schedule and left the house in a very clean state. His work was very neat and professional. Anyone in need of a professional contractor capable of completing his work as per schedule and who has creativity and is trustworthy should opt for Kevin.

My colleague recommended me to Kevin, and I engaged him as my contractor for my house renovation. As this is my first-time doing renovation, he is patient with the queries/questions I asked. I like his transparency when the quotation is quote with each works itemized with pricing. With his eyes for details, he would provide his recommendation in colours for my wall painting, rooms doors, kitchen countertop and carpentry work to match my colour theme. To me white is white but it is not! He would also update me timely on the progress of renovation with photos, videos and of course sticking to timeline. We engaged Kevin due to a recommendation from our property agent. The second reason was the quotation reflected the ideal value for money for what we were planning to do. Kevin was very responsive and constructive in engaging the initial planning meetings (even before we signed on.) Good ideas came from him and was transparent with his itemised quotation. Our requests had a mixture of what was possible and some complicated. He made an effort to evaluate each of these and let us make and informed decision on what would fit our needs and budget. The work timelines were followed through very well. He took an effort in supervising his contractors and timely corrections on things that required rectifications. Overall timeline was ahead of schedule. The workmanship can be rated as very good. He kept us updated with the stages with photos promptly. He was very prompt and responsive during the work in progress stages which was very reassuring and professional. Kevin took pride in achieving desired outcomes. After the handover we had one final item we found did not go as planned. This could have happened due to his absence on the scheduled day. If I have to point out a one negative comment would be this. He took initiative to make the correction even though it requires a complete rework of this carpentry. His sense of responsibility shines through although a mistake had happened.

Kevin approached our renovation with a home owner's eye. He always kept our budget in mind and was transparent with any additional costs before execution. Always helpful with any additional requests to the work scope and also honest with opinions as to what is feasible or practical rather than push ideas. He was able to finish our renovation ahead of schedule. Although there were unforeseen hiccups along the way, Kevin was quick to give an update on the situation along with options to choose from without prompting.

Kevin helped and assisted in delivering the renovation of a 50 yr old unit . Had a good relationship and he was prompt and professional throughout the process. While this is the 1st time we engaged Overhauled, it is not the 1st time we work with Kevin Tan. Back in 2013, he was responsible for our 1st home, and now some 9 years later, our 2nd home (which also indicates how long Kevin has been in this line). Good planning skills, practical ideas and suggestions, no hard-selling. More importantly there is transparency in every detail and this is particularly important for us who prefer to be involved throughout the reno process. Though this time round the scope of works was much less than our previous home, the efforts that Kevin put in are nothing less. Really glad that we made the decision to seek his expertise again. A big thank you to Kevin.

I engaged Kelvin for the renovation work when I moved my home to a bigger flat. I told Kelvin about the types of my personal lifestyles so that Kelvin was able to design the flat that suited my lifestyles and preferred theme. The overall results should be white-colour-based walls and doors with light-blue-highlights. The space planning should allow minimalism and efficient maintenance in long term. Air ventilation is another main consideration. We had detailed discussion on the air-conditioning work. Kelvin fully understood my requests and actively shared his suggestions on certain improvements, such as materials selections, air-conditioning piping flow, and specific assistance for elderly movements in the toilets to ensure sufficient safety protections were in place. Kelvin arranged Zoom meeting sharing layout plans and pictures to facilitate further discussions and confirmed initial ideas could be materialized. When renovation work commenced, Kelvin’s updates have been timely, supported by pictures and videos and in accordance with the agreed Gantt chart. All solutions proposed by Kelvin at my requests were well accepted. During the renovation period, when certain structural issues were discovered and encountered, Kelvin would suggest variable work to overcome the issues. Kelvin always ensured I confirmed the variable costs before the work was added. I cancelled one initial item after draft layout plan due to certain space constraint. Kelvin also respected my decision. The service and workmanship quality had been completed at high standard and I am satisfied of the deliverables. I am most impressed by Kelvin's calmness, professionalism, and patience. He has excellent project and time-table management skills. Kelvin kept the original renovation items within my initial budget. I was happy to adopt his recommendations as variable orders. He delivered the renovated house to me in time and in satisfactory conditions. Kelvin is highly recommended to you if you have a renovation need.

Kevin is attentive to our requirements and is very helpful to answer all our enquiries and requests. It was very easy to communicate with Kevin throughout the whole renovation and even after we moved in. On top of this, Kevin was able to give very practical suggestions to improve the overall usability and aesthetics of our home. We felt that we could rely on Kevin's experience and good teamwork with his subcontractors to get everything done in the best way. In terms of service, we are very satisfied as all our requests were fulfilled! We made a last minute request to change the color of the materials, Kevin was able to accommodate and make the changes in time. Best of all, our renovation was completed in just 8 weeks. We had visited Overhauled In. Design after we had discussed with other IDs. We were recommened to Overhauled In. Desing by our friend who also had very good impression of them. During our first meeting with Kevin from Overhauled In. Design, we were quite impressed by his ideas. We had major constraint being that our size of our apartment is very small. We wanted to maximize storage space in our apartment. During the inital discussion, Kevin suggested having cupboards and storage spaces while at the same time maximizing the natural light and air-flow. Before the start of the renovation, we had to make many changes as we started to get more ideas. During the reviews, Kevin will always make himself availabe to meetup and finalize the changes. He also helped us to select the lightings and fans for our new apartment. This was very helpful, as we did not have much information about how to choose the lighting required to ensure that the rooms are well lit. Additionally, Kevin also catered for adding in Smart lighting for the rooms which can be controlled independently. Another impressive fact was that the renovation was completed within the stipulated timeframe. During the renovation, Kevin always welcomed us to review the state of renovation. We were impressed by the pace of work that was being done and Kevin was always available for the queries that we had. Now, we have already moved in to our new apartment and we had some additional requirements for some new electrical points. After we had informed Kevin, he sent down people to make it happen within 24hours. We are now very happy that we had done our very first renovation with Overhauled In. Design. The quality of work of the carpentry is very good. The TV console, with its storage compartments, now contains all of our books (heavy) and other stuff. The lightings in our rooms are good and the different options that was planned by Kevin is very useful, eg. the TV console lighting gives a movie theater effect, the bed room cove lights sets the mood to sleep peacefully. Overall, we are very happy to have chosen Overhauled In. Design for our renovation and can always rely on Kevin for any of our home improvement needs.

We appreciate Kevin efficiency and always responsive to assist us in any questions. He replies us promptly even after working hours which we didn't expect ad ensure that all our schedule for the renovation is on time. If there is any unexpected hiccup, he will tell us upfront and provide various options for us to consider. Kevin renovated our house as well as my parents house. Our house was great and after staying for more than 3 years, the condition is still good. Although our parents house design was not as expected but it is because we were chasing him to complete within a short time frame as my parents need to move in to the new house quickly. Hence, we didn't pay too much attention to the details and decided too quickly due to the lack of time. So in conclusion, we would definitely recommend Kevin for being so responsible and attentive to his clients.
