Shanea picked up the lead on our initial renovation inquiry, and very quickly understood what we wanted for our home aesthetic (Modern Contemporary/Japandi). Her initiative and efforts to convey her design proposal won us over and we decided to go with her. Shanea managed expectations well and didn't over promise when it came to timelines. We had come to her in October trying to get our resale flat done up before CNY the next year, and even though the time frame was tricky to manage with the holidays in-between, we eventually managed to move in on time. Throughout the whole renovation process, she checked-in frequently on the site and gave timely updates on the project without any prompting. Her willingness and flexibility to hear our different approaches on certain design choices was also appreciated. As we've now moved into our place for about a week now, pending a final round of minor touch-ups after CNY, we can safely say that the renovation project has been a resounding success! Shanea understood the assignment and nailed it. 💯 10/10 would recommend anyone looking to renovate to seriously consider Shanea at Black & Butter.

Me and my husband engaged Black & Butter and worked with Jamie for our BTO flat couple of months ago. Jamie was transparent, responsive and really helpful throughout the reno process! We shared with her that as I was pregnant and due soon, we needed the reno to be completed asap, giving her a tight timeline. We saw that she tried her best to work with contractors to ensure that the milestones were met punctually, and gave us regular updates so that we knew what works were being done every single week. We managed to move in on time, and there were little to no hiccups with our renovation. Best of all, the initial quotation that she provided us was not even far off from the eventual quotation, and we really appreciated that. We can tell that Jamie genuinely loves her job, that’s why we’re 100% recommending Jamie from B&B to the people we know. 😌

I am happy to recommend Jasmine and her team to anyone who wants to renovate. ID Jasmine was referred to me by my good friend in Uni, and I appreciate my friend for the good referral. Jasmine and her team are detail oriented and supportive, she manages the contractor and project timeline well. She gets things done and respond to your inquiry promptly. She is a responsible ID. She will remember what you asked her to do, even small little things, for example, in my case, there was one small joint contractor forgot to use silicone, I asked Jasmine to help to manage touch up, she remembered it and make sure things get done. My wife and I went to ID Priscilla for 4 rooms renovation quotation . She was patient and friendly throughout the process and price is reasonable. Therefore ,we decided to let her take charge of our new BTO renovation works . Will update the review once the house renovation completed. 17 Nov 2025 My wife and I BTO’s renovation are soon to be completed. We are pleased that we have make the right choice to choose Priscilla as our ID. Prisc will diligently update us our BTO’s renovation progress and the work that will be carried out for the day and also photos progression on the works aforementioned on the day itself to give us owner a peace of mind of the works done .
