I had the pleasure of working with Justin from 85 SQFT for my first home renovation. I narrowed him and the firm down from a selection of four ID firms. Ultimately, I went with Justin and 85 SQFT, due to three main factors: 1) Past case studies & quotation (it was more or less reasonable, honest and competitive). 2) Communication: Justin is super responsive, even after working hours/late at night. If he doesn't have an answer to something or is busy on another matter, you can expect him to follow up later in the day. 3) Justin showed great patience, starting from the number of revisions during the initial layout/quotation phase. He was also open to suggestions and paid attention to my requests. During the renovation itself, I was unable to visit the site often due to work, and Justin provided regular updates, especially at the start (hacking phase). From start to finish, his responsiveness, patience, and openness to my suggestions made the entire process enjoyable. Now that I've lived in my new place for over a month, I can speak from experience and say that the workmanship and quality (carpentry, etc.) are superb as well. I couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend his expertise to anyone looking for a dedicated interior designer.

This is my first renovation. Among all the IDs I spoke to, Justin seemed a good choice and we decided to go ahead with Justin to design our dream home. It actually turned out to a perfect choice. Justin was very patient with me and my wife as he helped to design our dream home based on our requirements. We did quite a few rounds of design before actually proceeding to the renovation. The design phase itself took 2 months, but Justin was very patient throughout the whole phase. Upon getting the keys to the house, Justin also guided us in each step and ensured each step was within our requirements and properly done. He was willing to incorporate changes if needed. My wife and I are very pleased with the final output of the renovation. We will highly recommend Justin as an ID to our close family friends and relatives.

First time renovating, met Justin via the 5 quotes through Qanvast. During the meet up, he was the ID whom is able to click with our concept. Through the period of renovation, he provided constant feedbacks of the progress and let us know when there are potential issues. As a first time home owner, he’s able to reassure us that everything will be taken care of. Noting our everlasting demands, Justin managed to help ascertain that things were in controlled even though I nitpicked quite a bit of stuff. For handling of requests, he tried to accommodate but at the same time, gave his input to circumvent it without adding too much costing or at times reducing it (we followed closely to the T on the contract). Thanks for materialising our demands.

My partner and I were clueless about our house renovation process after purchasing our resale flat on a whim. 85sqft was recommended to us by a friend who just completed his renovation and was happy and impressed by the process and workmanship. We had the chance to view said friend’s flat and had the chance to meet with King and Hanz while they walked us through the furnishings and designs of the house. We did our due diligence and contacted other IDs that were recommended to us via Qanvast. The same design and budget were given but with varying prices and design ideas proposed to us for our Scandinavian theme. Some of the IDs had strict designs that they wanted us to adhere to. For example, only a certain shade of wood colour should be used or only a certain carpentry design could work. But with 85sqft, King respected our decisions and made us feel heard, that the design is for us to decide but he will give us advice/recommendations. What I appreciate throughout our reno process was King and Hanz’s honesty about the prices and timeline of the renovation. All costs were given to us upfront and we were given the choice to proceed with the item or not depending on our preference and budget. Everything was listed in our quotation if not listed in our WhatsApp chat for transparency. They were efficient in their replies and had great contacts for electrical works and curtains/blinds who were easy to work with. Anything that we felt were amiss were cleared and worked on quickly. The product knowledge they had was respectable as they visit the site often to check in and follow up with their workers on the progress. We had a chance to visit another of their reno site which confirmed our decision from the quality to the finishing of carpentry. They took pride in their work and that marks the quality of any great professional. We recommend 85sqft to anyone looking for great service and quality for the money. They may be a smaller company unlike many of the options listed online but this allows them to have better control and management of the projects.

King is very experienced and he knows what is required to ensure a good output. Friendly, genuine and a direct designer. Prices are reasonable and quality is top notch. The best thing is that King comes over every major work that needs to be done and this create an assurance for me and my wife. Recommended my sister’s home to King and he got it done before the deadline with perfection. Thumbs Up Mr King.

His good and creativity, the idea was there, easy to communicate and direct person. He even give an suggestion important that need to do. Workmanship and material were good, even he recommend us which is good quality and color for the matching for our theme. Carpentry work smooth. The price competitive and reasonable. No regret taking him as our designer. He professional, his plan and design were good.

This was my first renovation, and I was determined to get as much bang for my buck. I gathered IDs using Qanvast, Google, and even referrals from my friends. I eventually chose to engage King and Han since they did an excellent job on my ex-colleagues property, and we believe they will do the same for ours.  Before the renovation works began, they took us to several of their completed projects and explained their design thinking. We got ideas for our house from the process. I was impressed with King and Han's ingenuity and attention to detail. Their experience assisted in filling several of the holes in our specifications. In addition, King and Han were very patient in leading us through the tile and furniture selection processes, providing invaluable advice to ensure that they complemented the overall design theme of our home. Despite delays caused by repeated revisions in COVID measures, King and Han were able to coordinate activities and complete the project on time. If you're looking for reliable IDs, I strongly advise you to contact them.

King and Hans are 2 humble guys who designed our 5 room HDB resale flat. Both of them are very easy going guys who are willing to listen to every request and provide constructive feedbacks and solution to our home design requirements. They have an amazing working ethics which enables us to work seamlessly with them over our renovation period. They are able to source almost everything we need for us. Even when the item is known to them, they took the effort to research on Taobao and gave us the links. One good example is the magnetic track lights. These lights are not carried by majority of the lighting shops in Singapore, but they managed to hunt down that few shops that carries it and gave us Taobao links as alternatives. These guys are very on-hand which is what we need in our home renovation. Thank you King and Hans!

Great attention to details. Patient & accommodating to queries. Prices was reasonable & able to deliver on said timeline. Small company but I believe small operation usually provide the best customer service/ experience. Carpentry expertise was the highlight for their service with highly customizable compartment with input for usage & practicality. Will recommend people who are looking for no frills Reno with own ideas & visual which they will provide the know how.

Amazing communication. Renovation was completed before the stipulated date. Early handover. Workmanship was well done. King and Hanz was open to ideas and gave appropriate suggestions to the renovation. Pricing was competitive with high quality work. Updates of work with photos was given throughout the whole renovation. They handled changes professionally. Peace of mind guaranteed. Highly recommended !
