Katherine and William have been awesome. So creative in their work and so professional in their delivery. I love that they listened to our needs very carefully and they curated our design to perfection. The end result is mind blowing and my kids love the new home too. Katherine and William were on budget and they even beat the timeline by two weeks. I couldn’t have asked for better IDs, so grateful for their impact!

We chose MYD after going through several IDs. We went for a minimalist Scandi theme, and Wilson and William proposed practical and cost-efficient ideas. The whole process went smoothly - where hiccups arose, Wilson was very responsive in rectifying them, even after handover. Wilson also provided us with timely updates throughout the project, which was completed well within the agreed timeline. We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship especially the carpentry and the vinyl flooring + tiling works. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we would definitely recommend them.

We engaged MYD for our 2nd renovation for our resale 5 room. Aside from MYD, we shortlisted 2 other IDs as well. However, MYD became our choice for a few reasons: #1 William and Katherine impressed us by their creative but practical suggestions. #2 They don't hard sell their suggestions and their service. #3 They offer to draw up artist impressions of what we wanted to do without any obligation to engage them. Due to this, it became the reason why we engaged them as we are able to visualise how our renovation will look like. This service was what we had requested but were told from the other IDs that they will only provide us the visuals after confirming our service with them. During the renovation, they were very prompt in their reply and updates. There were hiccups here and there but they were able to resolve them promptly. They were true to their artist impressions and their workmanship were to our expectations. Their after service is good, when issues arise they solve them promptly. Highly recommends MYD to anyone who needs their service.

To be honest MYD was not in our list of renovation IDs at the beginning. I chance upon while scrolling Qanvast at the last minute. In total, I have met 5 IDs who gave me their quotes, of which - At least 1 big ID - "Starry &^%$#@!" overquoted the kitchen size by at least 60%, somewhat dishonest practice but not uncommon in this industry 3 of the IDs only want to use their own electrician that costs between 10-15k initial quote with blatant mark-ups, rather than my own electrician that costs 6k initially 2 of the IDs were not confident to make the 5 hidden bedroom door feature on our main walls 2 of the IDs did not revert back due to the perceive large extensive renovation and my high expectations All the IDs except for 1 require minimum 4 months for completion. And only 1 ID volunteered to come on site to survey and measure during the selection period and coincidentally seem the smallest of all the IDs So coincidentally we chose the smallest ID that allow external electrician, honest with scoping the size of each area, confident to hide all our doors and to come on site to survey and measure and can complete the project in 3 months - and that is MYD. Additionally, MYD showed their interest by reverting and reminding me during the selection period. During the 13 weeks of renovation, we were consulted regularly, given choices, given ideas to make our modern luxury theme come to live. There were at least 3 occasions, when we changed our mind, William agreed to remove the existing design and replace with our preferences at his own cost (around at least $2-3k worth of redesign). Our woodwork and carpentry cost as much as the total costs of renovation of a typical 4 or even 5 room HDB and it was very extensive and the carpenters delivered outstanding and meticulous details. The final renovation was almost met with great satisfaction and almost 98% of our dream home. It was a very good and satisfactory outcome and have no regrets of choosing MYD, despite their small size and lack of luxury projects at the start. William is a good designer and a good project manager and he is interested and most importantly motivated to please his clients.

Gao Gao has provided excellent service and communication during the entire renovation process. She took proactive actions to keep me up to date as well as to spot issues popping up. Costs were also made clear during the process and I am fully aware of every expenditure. She has since left the company though but Jesment whom I spoke to initially was highly professional too. He demonstrated his expertise and was also actively following up on the process before handing over to Gao Gao.

Engaged the services of William, Katherine and Wilson after meeting up with 3 different IDs. They were most sincere in providing insights and suggested practical renovation features. The quality of the renovation was great overall and we are happy with the final outcome. It would be great if they can improve on identifying issues and communicating the changes to the customer early on. That said, they have always been responsive and willing to rectify issues along the way. Thank you!

When we first approached MYD Pleasant Home Design, Yee Ling was the one who in charged of our design renovation. She has showed us her professionalism and reliable throughout all the meetings. We were so relax and carefree during the whole renovation progress due to Yee Ling's dedication towards the whole project. We were pleasant to engage her as our ID and no regret at all. We will definitely look for her if we ever buy our second house. Highly highly recommended if you are looking for an ID !

We linked up with our ID from MYD Pleasant Home Design, Jonathan Sim, via Qanvast, and our experience has been nothing short of fantastic and problem free. Jon was patient, attentive, understanding and thoughtful throughout the project. From the start till its completion, he understood our constraints, both in time and finances, and managed the project timeline in such a pain-free manner for us. He was able to work within our budget, and managed our expectations very well. He was responsive and proactive throughout the process, and never made it feel like we were bothering him. He made the working relationship very enjoyable and personalised, and allayed our initial reservations regarding online ID horror stories. We are very lucky to have had met Jon for our first home. Design We were going for a dark wood / grey theme and he gave us really good recommendations in furniture shopping, selection of tiles, light installation and placements, and even accommodated our requests for walk-in wardrobes, last minute addition of vinyl flooring and power point locations. Workmanship The dimensions were inch perfect, the painting works were crisp, and after living for about two weeks in my home, I still have yet to find any major defects in the carpentry or electrical works. No complaints here as well, they were thorough and very efficient. Service Probably the best part of the whole firm, they (Jon) gave us confidence and assurance to leave everything to him, and he delivered. He even personalised our home according to our "measurements" (I'm a 1.83m guy so everything needs to be heightened/taller). It's the little things. Value for Money They may not be the cheapest nor recommend the least expensive item, but I hedge my bets that Jon knew and believed in what he was offering me and I trusted his judgment. So if you want everything cheapest, then Taobao would probably be better. But you won't be able to buy his experience and personalisation skills on Taobao. We are satisfied with how William and Katherine handled the complete refurbishment of our resale HDB EA flat. Major renovations were needed because the flat is more than 20 years old. We were able to move in after 2.5 months thanks to William's and Katherine excellent project management, nevertheless. William was one of our short listed ID who is confident in designing the slightly complex layout we wanted within the short timeframe. Using our suggestions as a foundation, William was able to design a beautiful and useful home for us. It is also the responsibility of owners as well to check carefully on the work being done. We spotted a few errors during the renovation process. However any issues we raised were rectified immediately. They were also patient with our repeated change of minds about choosing tiles or vinyl flooring. Overall, we adore our home and would enthusiastically suggest William and Katherine to anyone who needed renovation to be completed within a limited time frame. Thanks William and Katherine.

We shortlisted Jesment from MYD Pleasant Home Design to assist us in designing our re-sale condominium. He was able to listen and understand our needs, usage of space, and design concepts to come up with the desired plans we need. Along the way, we fine-tuned certain things according to his recommendation and expertise. There was constant communication and he was very fast to respond. Once the actual renovation started, it was quite smooth sailing as there were constant updates from him and progress-status reporting.
