My wife and I engaged MAD Interior for our renovation and was assigned to work with Clarissa. We have been really impressed by her hard work and professionalism. We initially had a rough idea of how we wanted our new home to look but was guided by Clarissa on how to refine the plans and balance aesthetics against utility. It has been a month since we moved in and couldn't be happier with the work done.

I had the pleasure of working with Jimmy, who recently oversaw my home renovation project, and he exceeded my expectations. From the outset, Jimmy was involved and responsible, taking the time to understand my design preferences, needs, and budget. He kept to the project schedule, ensuring that work was completed on time and within budget. He also made sure to keep me informed at every stage of the project, providing regular updates and seeking my input whenever necessary. Jimmy's commitment to the project, and his dedication to keeping the design philosophy intact was admirable. What I appreciated most about working with Jimmy was his honesty and transparency. He always took the time to explain his recommendations and rationale. In summary, I would recommend Jimmy to anyone looking for an interior designer for their renovation. My criteria in finding an ID is able to advise practically creative for my living space, able to communicate and relate ideas with, sensitive to colors choice to liven up my space. Our result ends with well planned space with good quality workmanship and responsive after sales services. Very thankful to have found them and ride thru this journey with joy and positive arguments. I will definitely be a return customer.

We are glad to have engaged Jimmy and Hano as our IDs for our new place. We needed someone with good design sense and experience to see through the renovation process within the required timeline and achieve our design requirements. During the initial design process, Jimmy was a keen listener and understood what we wanted. He is not shy to say no to some of our weird ideas/mismatched furniture which is really appreciated :) While there are some inevitable hiccups during the process (this was during COVID), generally there was good communications and follow-up from Hano throughout the process. He was committed to seeing through our project even though he had to travel overseas. Overall, I would recommend MAD for those who are looking for a sleek, modern minimalist look :)

My husband and I engaged MAD to do renovation for our new house, and we had the pleasure to work with Hano! Hano has been very responsive throughout the whole planning and renovating phase. Even when we reply late at night due to our busy schedules, he will also get back to us asap. Throughout the whole process, he is also very accommodating to our requests. Whenever we want something, he will find and check for us to help us always make an informed decision. He is also very responsible and never ever shirk responsibilities, unlike horror stories of other ID that we heard about. As soon as we point out any defects during the renovation phase, he will make sure his workers get to it. During the renovation, Shaun was our site supervisor and he is also very thoughtful and responsible. He stayed around to make sure carpenter did according to the plan. When the handle bar of my wardrobe is too high for my height, he made sure it is adjusted to suit my height. Working with Hano and Shaun for our renovation has been such a great experience! Thanks both for making our dream home come true, especially the kitchen and bedroom :D

We chose MAD-interior design as our ID. Compared to the rest we contacted, MAD has the closest design concepts we want. Hano was the ID who we were assigned. He is patient and takes the initiative to help us in making the decision on choosing from furniture to cabinetry and laminate designs. We are comfortable expressing our concerns and thoughts with him. He is open to explore new ideas to show us on how it can enhance the house atmosphere. He has also done well in following up with us closely on every stage of the progress. We are pleased with the smooth hand-over and we are happy with the friendly service he provided. We are thankful that we chose them, making it hassle free by helping us narrow down on sourcing for the suitable colour like laminates, tiles and all the way to floor vinyl. Overall, we will definitely introduce my family and friends to them with such a great experience we had.

Janice and Jimmy are the designers to look for when you know what vibe you want but have no clue on the specifics. They were able to offer a complete design with basic renderings even at the quotation stage, and delivered it on schedule, something no other ID I approached could do. They were also the only ID that was able to improve on the design brief and make their own suggestions rather than just regurgitate the exact specifications I told them, and were able to offer more carpentry than specified at the same price for a more complete look. In the end, I didn't need to make many changes to the initial design proposal as they knew exactly what I wanted. The suppliers that they recommend were of a high standard as well, so that you do not need to do your own research on lighting, paint, and laminates. Janice was also a meticulous PM and ensured that the final product was perfect. Although the project overran the initial timeline by a few weeks, I did not need to go back and forth with multiple rounds of defects rectification afterwards as Janice handled it all before my first viewing of the final product.

We are really fortunate and grateful to have Janice at the helms for our renovation with MAD About Design When she picked the project, she engaged us with lots of enthusiasm, and most importantly, within the short span of 1-2 weeks, we were able to click well to have constructive discussions to advance the project Janice was really meticulous in both planning and execution of the project. The paperwork was followed through thoroughly, with minutes to record design decisions, clear plans for electrical works, carpentry, masonry etc, and she was always on hand to explain changes in the costings when VA were issued. During the renovation, progress was updated promptly, and she was always on-site at the key milestones and to resolve teething issues. We were kept in the loop on the progress and she updated us regularly on the completion timeline . Credit to her detailed planning, she foresaw the few major issues during the initial weeks of the renovation, and the safe to say, the rest of the renovation happened without major setbacks or deviations from the agreed plan. And we were pleasantly surprised that she continued to follow up with issues in the house even after the last payment was made. Just goes to show her responsibility and passion for her craft ! We loved the design of the house, and final outcome matched our expectations. The 3D renderings captured accurately how the colours and different layout would be integrated into the overall design in real life. And because it was really beautiful, we decided to style the house based on her 3D renderings too. The solutions that Janice proposed were also practical, and relevant to our intended functions in different parts of the house. In the end, we are really thankful to Janice for delivering the project on time and within our budget. Most importantly, with her pulling the strings, our renovation journey was smooth and surprising enjoyable ! Highly recommended, and we would most definitely engage Janice again for our next renovation project ;)
