It has been a journey for our renovation work, greatly assisted by Yan. We were referred as she has done one project for my daughter's house. Yan has carefully listened to our needs, and came out various ideas to fit into our budget and yet to help to get to what we want. We appreciated the constant updates, and taking care of the renovation even when we were away from Singapore. The innovative remodeling of our apartment that created a modern look, and gave more space, is something we really liked. The craftmanship and attention to details are something we want to highlight. Yan has also done a great job to project manage the entire renovation, given our renovation had gone to a good degree of complexity, and the coordination with the management office of our apartment.

We engaged Yan as our ID and it was a pleasant experience. She was very professional and thorough throughout the entire renovation process, always sharing with us practical inputs. She was also very responsible in providing us with regular updates, coordinating with the respective vendors / suppliers, which gives us a peace of mind. Not only that, she was also able to keep the project within budget and within the stipulated timeline.

We chose Blend as our ID because we loved their aesthetic and their quotation was a lot more affordable than other IDs we met! During our first meeting with Yan & Kelvin, we were very impressed at their knowledge as well as how detail oriented they were. It definitely helps that we felt like we could connect with them as people and not just designers :) During the entire process, Yan & Kelvin were keen to understand our needs, lifestyle and habits - always looking for creative ways to balance style with practicality. Although they often offered differing opinions, it helps with widening our perspectives! Even after the renovation where we found minor defects here and there, they were always prompt in responding and providing advice/rectifications. Before starting, we were quite afraid as we've heard many horror stories from friends' about poor workmanship, delayed schedules and etc. But we're so thankful that Blend prioritises quality and keeps to timeline! We managed to complete our renovation within the stated duration with little hiccups - a testament to their project management skills! We really love our home and we have Yan and Kelvin to thank for it :) Highly recommend!

When "shopping" for ID, I was looking for one that is design-centric and yet practical at the same time, so was really glad to have found Kelvin and Yan. I had rather atypical requirements for renovation, so what I really appreciated was that they went the distance to understand my requirements in detail, and offered very practical and interesting alternatives when my original ideas did not seem feasible. Throughout the renovation process, they were very prompt in addressing my questions and concerns, and the minor hiccup was addressed swiftly and professionally too. Overall, I would say that the renovation went smoothly according to the original timeline, and my IDs were very conscious in keeping (and helping me to keep) to my budget. For instance, they would suggest cheaper alternatives that still serve the same purpose without compromising on utility and quality. In summary, I really enjoyed my renovation experience with Kelvin and Yan, and in fact, have recommended them to my friends.

We had a great experience during our renovation with Yan & Zac from blend by imc! They were reliable, professional and timely. The process was largely stress-free on our end and we were also able to keep close to our initial budget. Yan & Zac provided fresh perspective whilst staying true to our design. We had a farmhouse theme in mind which they brought to life with their beautiful ideas and cute details. They actively listened and as a result were able to visualise the concepts that we sometimes had trouble articulating. Moreover, if our initial designs had any potential difficulties or pitfalls, these were quickly identified and highlighted to us, along with proposed workarounds and solutions to overcome the issues. Overall, Yan & Zac achieved our desired aesthetic without compromising on the practicalities. The worksmanship is reliable, especially the beautiful woodwork that their carpentry team delivered. It was unique, durable and of good quality. The bulk of the coordination between the different trades was very efficiently handled by them with minimal delays. They would let us know ahead of time if the coordination needed to be handled on our side instead and would guide us if we had any questions. This capable project management was a big reason why our renovation went smoothly with no major hiccups. We feel that Yan & Zac's working style is professional, organised and collaborative. The renovation proceeded in a logical and sequential order. Timely updates were provided whenever a milestone was achieved, and delays, whether anticipated or otherwise, were brought to our attention. Actually, there were not many delays for our renovation and we were able to move in by our desired target date. At important points, Yan & Zac would arrange meetings to seek our feedback and address the concerns or questions that we have. We were also able to have a great time during these meetings as the general vibes were casual and easygoing with a lot of laughter. Post renovation, Yan & Zac were also very helpful and prompt in addressing the teething issues that we encountered. They also gave us tips on maintenance as well. We really appreciate the work done and the effort poured into our renovation. Thanks to their capable hands, we not only had a relatively relaxed experience throughout the renovation period, but also have a cozy and lovely flat that is truly a dream house come to life. We are certainly lucky to find and work with them. Thanks to Yan & Zac again for our beautiful house!

To engage Blend by lmC was unexpected as it was the last company to get in touch with us. We were impressed by their attitude and the amount of preparation they put in before meeting us to go through the initial draft. We liked the 2D rendering that they did for the first meeting. It helped to see the ideas in picture form and they were very open to our ideas too. Yan has an eye for colours and designs and was a great help when it comes to selection of tiles. We are just glad the renovation journey is over and we can finally settle into our new place.

I knew nothing about ID & renovation when I embarked to a full makeover of our newly bought resale flat. I chatted with at least 8~ID before I settled with Yan from Blend. I like the ideas of a young vibrant team and open communications. I asked lot of questions throughout the reno and I always received prompt responses back from Yan. I most appreciate pragmatic views from Yan. There were a few designs I wanted for the flat which was not practical and I appreciate Yan being able to share her professional views. The color visualization done by Yan was excellent and my flat turned out to be in the color mood that I have conceptualized. The agreed timeline was managed very nicely. Yan and Zac coordinated my requests without major hiccups. They went an extra mile for me when I needed an onsite advise on my own sourced curtain specialist, Zac was readily at my flat waiting. I feel that Blend having their own carpentry workshop is a plus as there is no 3rd party involved if you needed some changes/ advices. I heard stories that you hardly will get a response for rectifications post handover, I'm glad Blend stood out. I did not receive any push back and all I raised have been promptly attended to.

We had initial meetings with quite a few IDs but were impressed with Kelvin and Yan Rong from BlendByIMC from the get-go because they were very design-centric and they came with good suggestions and opinions when we laid out our initial ideas. They provided sound recommendations and inputs, which was well- appreciated because we are quite indecisive people. The end result was amazing - they have managed to translate each one of our (considerably different) needs and preferences into well thought out design. We especially love the well-integrated living room and kitchen, along with the color palette. While there may have been some post-reno hiccups, the team was quick to respond and provide solutions which I was grateful for. Thanks again to the team for their efforts and service 😊

My husband and I are busy professionals and we knew we needed a designer who is experienced yet easy to work with and can accomodate our schedules and budgets We were so lucky to engage Nat as our designer as through the months in working with him, we discovered more of his virtues and his dedication to put his clients first. And he has demonstrated consistency in terms of responsiveness, problem solving and providing timely updates. He is also flexible and open to our ideas/requests and does whatever he can to keep to our budget. He went the extra mile to work over weekends, holidays and Chinese New Year to ensure progressive milestones are met! We are highly appreciative of Nat and his team for their high standards of service and fantastic support! My family are now very thrilled to be moving in to enjoy our beautiful home - thanks to Nat and team!

I strongly believe 1 of the trades to be a good designer is to have patience. I had Nat as a designer and he is someone who has tons of it. Some of our requests are pretty demanding, but he always listen and gives alternatives or solutions. We feel extremely lucky to have had a designer that really listened to us and understood what we want. I will definitely refer any of my relatives or friends to him.

Kelvin and Yan were very detailed and went through systematically on the phases of the whole renovation process to meet the timeline of the renovation. They provided various ideas and practical feedbacks on what myself and wife wanted to do. They closely and constantly monitored and update the progressions of the renovation to us and quick to resolve and respond to issues and queries from us. The quality and workmanship is great and will definitely recommend them!

We engaged Yan and her team in Nov 2021 (yes it was covid) and her team still provides great follow up when we need a hand to put in switches and all through to today, I would recommend them for your home reno.
