We decided to engage Build Built as our ID after visiting a few other IDs. Although their quotation was the most expensive, we decided to go with them because they are CaseTrust Certified and were the most responsive out of all the IDs we visited. In addition, we appreciated their business model where the designer and project manager were two different people, and all plans were presented very clearly from the initial design to the carpentry, electrical and lighting plans. So there was very little room for miscommunication. We worked with Hui Ling (designer) and Keith (project manager). Both of them are very friendly and easy to work with. They grasped our design concept quickly and didn't make much issues during the rectification process. We especially like the custom side board that they built for us. Overall, we enjoyed working with Hui Ling and Keith. We would recommend Build Built to people with slightly bigger budgets. 😊

It was not our first home but it was our first renovation project ever. Decided to engage BB to do an overhaul of our second new home. Sutri was our ID and Xi Wen was our Project Manager. They have done an excellent job for our reno project! They were professional and always responsive to us through out the journey. They never left you hanging and we really appreciated that! It was definitely fun working with them! :)

We worked with Designer Huiling and Project Manager Keith on our home and I'm so glad we did cause the entire process was honestly quite smooth and enjoyable. First off, it is definitely a plus point that BB has their ID and PM as 2 separate roles - and both of them were very clear on what their responsibilities were, while being happy to step in to help whenever the other wasn't available. I personally also feel that they delivered the quality that was worthy of the price tag. With regards to pricing, it is much appreciated that they did their best to keep to our budget, even reminding us that we could do away with some items/works. Going in excess of the budget was purely my preference and not their pressure. Huiling is an absolute sweetheart to work with. Her aesthetics are very much in line with ours, but she was also happy to explore new ideas. She definitely went the extra mile to help us visualise items of furniture / paint colours etc by rendering images for us and this made it much easier for us to make decisions. And more often than not, her choices in furniture/colour/texture turned out to be the best ones! Keith is an exceptional multi-tasker and amazed us with how much he could get done in short periods of time. He is structured, meticulous and clear with his budgeting / timeline / scheduling and general project management. He could even give us design ideas as he's also quite talented himself! We were updated frequently and adequately and our aptment was handed over to us in a very timely manner. All renos come with hiccups, but with some lightheartedness and a problem-solving mindset, we managed to fix everything smoothly and eventually. After moving in for 2 months, we have received many compliments on our new place, and we are so thankful towards this team at BB for supporting us in this journey! We would highly recommend this team! :)

My wife and I decided to go with Build Built after looking at a number of ID firms. The rapport we had with our designer Huiling and project manager Keith made the whole process from design to completion an enjoyable one. Timeline and milestones were updated regularly, and solutions were provided for anything that cropped up along the way. Finally when all was done, a photo and video shoot of our home was done as well, allowing us to have the memory of our first home captured.

We got to work with Kheng Hwee to design our new home. The entire process was really smooth and he was extremely communicative and provided timely follow ups with us. After an initial conversation over the phone and a short questionnaire later, he was able to come up with multiple renditions of our dream home and build upon our ideas. We were really impressed with the designs he suggested and how he provided open and honest feedback with regards to our needs. We highly recommend Kheng Hwee to meet your ID needs due to his professionalism, eye for design and openness of communication!

Came across BuildBuilt while I was searching for ID to our new home. Just like anyone else, I sent out emails and reached out to multiple ID companies way before key collection and was hoping to start planning early. Most of the ID would turn me down and suggested me to reach out to them when nearing to the key collection date. Same goes for BuildBuilt as Farrah (our ID) reached out to me when she saw my enquire. However Farrah has been very responsible and she did her due diligence to check-in with me from time to time, which we did not see it from others. This has created a positive impression and we decided to give it a try after key collection. Upon first meeting with them, my wife and I fell in love with their proposal! After some considerations and we decided to go with them! The whole renovation process turned out to be very smooth and professional, with helps from our designer Farrah, and Project manager Xiwen. We are very thankful for their helps along the way, Farrah has crafted a unique and yet functional space for our family. She went above and beyond by helping us with most of our purchases (suggesting colours, design, sizes) despite this is not part of her job scope. XiWen has been a very helpful manager as she helps to reach out to vendors as and when we are looking for something unique and more importantly she has been the very important member helps our resolve any issue faced during the renovation journey. The whole process was very smooth and we really fall in love with the final outcome!

Appreciated the robust systems that BB had in place from our first contact, right up to the day of handover. A big fan of the transparency and clear communications between the team and ourselves and we love how there's distinct roles set up between the ID and the project manager where the latter settles more technical aspects of the renovation. Overall, managed to be rather hands off which is why we chose to go ahead with an ID team ~

Highly recommend. The designer - Keith - was so very creative. He has been actively working with us since the initial discussion and going through all the steps in the process. Also the project manager - Eleanor - was super organized and always make sure every pieces and bits would be on site on time. Thanks to the team! We love our place a lot!!

We stumbled upon Build Built through a YouTube video by Home Central and were drawn to Build Built's aesthetics and unique business model where a team of two people is assigned to each renovation project - one designer and one project manager. This made more sense to us compared to most ID firms where one person does both the design and project management, as we felt that these are two quite separate skillsets. We worked with Keith Lam (designer) and Keith Goh (project manager). Keith Lam had great design ideas and suggestions and helped guide us through the creative process. Keith Goh was amazing as project manager - he provided regular updates and was very responsive throughout the entire process. While every renovation project is bound to have hiccups here and there and ours was no exception, Keith Goh handled every issue extremely well and left us with pretty much a stress-free renovation process. We definitely have no hesitation in recommending Build Built to others.

Spoke to a couple of interior companies prior to Build Built but none truly understood what I wanted. The first meeting with my ID, Huiling, took me by surprise because you could really tell by her first presentation that she did her research and put in a lot of effort to understanding our needs and wants. None of those I’ve met previously presented via a proper/formal slideshow with well thought out ideas & themes. Throughout the journey, Huiling was very responsive and I think I texted her almost every other day for her recommendations for my home decor, asking her which color/design is nicer etc. We really appreciate her expertise and promptness as we are first-time owner so she has been a real gem in this entire journey! What sets Build Built apart from the rest of the firms I’ve spoken to is that they would assign a project manager to you. This meant that your ID will have more time to assist you in terms of design & space planning and the person on site to coordinate will be the project manager who has ample experience doing what he does. For our home, Keith was assigned to us as our PM and he managed to hand over our home to us on time despite COVID restrictions & all the holidays(Christmas & CNY). He even help us to assemble our Taobao & Ikea furnitures! (Bonus points!) Build Built is definitely not the cheapest out there but after reading all the horror reno stories online, i’m glad that we did not decide based on pricing and it was really worth every cent paid!

I think you guys have come so far but have remained very grounded and up-to-date and Eunice is a super addition to the team! She has taken care of our needs, been attentive and hands-on even though it’s a small project. It is much appreciated and keep doing you, with the bright smile and chirpy spirit. Thank you!

We worked with both Farrah and Xiwen and it was a pleasure having a team of hardworking, responsive and creative people! Love that we have an ID who knows our taste exactly and that saves us a lot of time choosing tiles, quartz, laminate, paint colour, vinyl etc. Carpentry workmanship is pretty solid too. We are also happy that the team listens to our feedback and ideas and are receptive to them. If you are looking for a reliable ID with good project management skills and a flair for tasteful designs, will recommend you to go with BB :)
