Elwyn was introduced by a friend and right before that i actually met up with 2 other IDs firm but decided to go ahead with maecaro design in just one meet up. Elwyn gave me the vibe that he really knows his stuff. He was quick in replies and constantly kept us updated in every step of the renovation. He personally comes down to the unit to ensure that everything was in place. Not only that, he exceeds my expectation by catering to last minute request or adds on. Working with elwyn gave me alot of assurance which i feel its most important especially when it comes to renovating your home. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for an IDs firm to work with elwyn and would definitely find him again for any future home renovation. After a long 4 years wait, finally gotten our BTO flat. While waiting, we have been sourcing for an ID that has expertise on what we envisioned our home to look like. We chanced upon Maecaro Design with other interior designers. However, after some discussions with a few of them, we have decided to go with Maecaro Design as they seems to the most reliable among all. As many of my friends has told me that hiring an ID will definitely cost me a bomb, hidden fees everywhere and also some may even turn out to be scams. We are really very cautious on that and we are happy to say that we have no regrets on choosing Maecaro Design! Elwyn from the company, gives not only 100% but 120% of the effort from the start where we had our discussion of how we want the theme of our home to look like until the day where he handed over the house back to us. Even after handing over the house back, he still diligently answered our queries and helped to engage some of his workers to solve our issues. The entire experience is so much different from how some of my friends have described to me! As the cost of renovating our home is always a concern for us, we are so glad that every single details of what we requested for, materials used as well as worker handling fees are all 100% fully transparent to us. Elwyn even went through with us the list several times and make sure that we are 100% comfortable with that. He even went an extra mile to advise us on what is good to have and what is usually most homeowners will not have. As he is someone with over 10 years of experience in this field, I would say that he was very very efficient in arranging all the task for his workers and updating promptly every single time whenever there are work in progress. In conclusion, this is the top tier service with reasonable renovation cost by Maecaro Design and we are very happy with our beautiful home. I came across Elwyn after a relative recommended how he managed to finish their nightmare kitchen left undone by another contractor for 1 whole year... within a single day. The speed of the coordination and actual works was so impressive, results were good too. So I decided to hire Maecaro Design for my own kitchen as well. The renovation process was smooth sailing. However, renovation journey is 100% perfect. Despite being down with COVID, and some other personal matters to attend to, Elwyn still made sure to keep business and personal matters separate, always informing in advance if there were any changes in dates, yet still adhering to my somewhat urgent timeline. Since most of the time only my grandmother and helper were at home, he was very accommodating to their timing and even bought food for my grandmother when he came down personally. According to her, he was very warm and chatty, putting her at ease. To me, this is what truly stands out because I am very particular about who I choose to work with. I cannot further emphasise how important chemistry is when it comes to any renovation, and Elwyn was the one. With good communication, prompt responses, quality material and a natural eye for design, Elwyn was able to deliver a final outcome that my entire family was satisfied with, all within budget and timeline.
