Two months after my first renovation, above satisfactistion is how I would describe the service render by Blackwood's interior designer, Edmund Chua. From planning to production, Edmund has helped kept the cost within my budget by elaborating the material difference and giving precious advised for me to make decisions decisively. The planning process was pleasantly smooth and was perfect for my pace. Workmanship wise, from tiling, plumbing, crafting of cabinet to electrical re-wiring and installation, everything were done professionally. All thanks to Edmund's maticulous supervision and checking in, allowing me to take some loads off my busy schedule. For people who are not familiar with renovation like me or not sure what is good, I would highly recommend to look for Edmund. He is honest, maticulous, professional and possessed a can do attitude.

Ron and Stephanie made our renovation journey ao much easier despite the short turnaround time we had. They tried their very best to accomodate our requests, at the same time sharing their expertise. It felt more like a partnership through the entire 3 months. As my place is rather small with a number of restrictions, the end product was fantastic and so cosy. Everyone who visited my home love it. They were helpful, professional, and definitely passionate in what they are doing. Thanks for the wonderful journey. My first reno work and definitely a fantastic one with the two folks. AWESOME!

Engaged Ron & Alice for our commercial shop. Ron and Alice showed a lot of initiative to communicate with us from Day 1 all the way till completion. Amongst the recommended IDs (including IDs which we have enquired by ourselves), they showed the most diligence and put in the most effort even before we committed to deciding our ID. Communicating with them was not an issue, and any deviation from our ideas/ or what was misunderstood in minute details was easily rectified. Alice was always very calm in proposing their ideas and would inform us what would work and couldn't, and will update us through whatsapp. While as customers, we were worried about timelines and whether or not renovations would progress smoothly, our worries were unfounded as Ron and Alice was often spotted on site to oversee. There were some delays in starting renovation (started 2 weeks later) due to additional SCDF approvals required by our site (which were unknown to our IDs as well). Nonetheless they managed to push through and finish the renos by our soft-opening date. We consider the price reasonable 1) after comparing initial quotations with other IDs, they were not the "higher end" quotation, 2) even though it was higher than our initial budget (we also couldn't benchmark pricing with any other recent experience of renovation as the last we did was non-commercial reno 5yrs ago), they were very transparent in their variation orders - they charged right down to the inch of what they eventually built for us, i.e. they were honest to remove any excess charges of initial proposed carpentry measurements from the contract. What really touched us is that - they even did the 开工仪式 before the start of the renovation without us requesting and presented us with a little plague for our shop soft opening.
