We engaged Murphy as he seemed sincere at the start and price was reasonable. He was enthusiastic at the start but things began to go awry when promises on timeline were not met. We are not unreasonable, as we expect hiccups here and there. What we cannot accept is lack of transparency in terms of communications as he had issues with carpenter but claimed otherwise, resulting in delay in renovations works. Renovations for a 4-room BTO started since Oct 2024 but up to date the defects are still not resolved. We have extended deadlines again and again and there is no sense of urgency from him to complete. Apparently his in-house carpenter went missing after an awful job done, and the new carpentry contractors are not up to standard and are unable to rectify the existing defects after few rounds. Poor workmanship, what’s worse is poor management of the entire project and inability to advise home owners on the choice of laminates. He has the cheek to ask us to accept it despite obvious fingerprints on laminates. Murphy refused to answer calls and messages despite several reminders. Missing in action is an irresponsible behaviour which we cannot comprehend and condone. He does not take the initiative to check the works himself, relying on forwarded videos and expect client to decipher ourselves. An irresponsible and incapable ID. Please avoid engaging this company unless you have a lot of time to tussle back and forth.

Was referred to Lian Interior for my Bachelor Pad by a close friend who also strongly recommended them. Mandon got in touch with me, and we got started with the concept pretty quickly. The renovations went smooth, and were really fuss free, as Mandon was there to oversee and advice me accordingly. He's also quite often onsite, as there were constant updates while the renovation is going on. Although there was a slight delay in carpentry, i still managed to move in ontime, with great workmanship (something i am very particular about). Mandon & his team's chemistry were exceptional. They were all working together to get the job / problem settled. Had friends over for housewarming recently, and have recommended them to Lian Interior, especially Mandon, for their future/oncoming renovation plans. Great job Lian Interior, & Mandon too!

We hired Casper and Abel for our interior journey and it was smooth until completion. But the nightmares begin after the handover period was over. Few months in, carpentry, glass, electrical and now wall have issues. Every single time I try to contact Murphy Lian (owner of this company) it takes forever to resolve. Dude basically MIA for days and sometimes more than a week before he gets back to you. So far all the issues were resolved by calling Casper and Abel for help who have left his company. The contractors who come down are arranged by Abel and payment has to be made on the spot for Murphy to pay me back. All except once, carpentry issues were called in by Murphy. Of which, I was told he did not pay his carpenters and they did not want to come unless he paid them what was owed. All other times like electrical issues or choked shower drainage, I had to find Abel for help before the relevant contractors would come. Now my false walls have issues, it’s been a week and I informed Murphy that I will lawyer up with another victim of his company. He challenged us to do it and we have also filed a police report. Unreliable. Unresponsive. Irresponsible. Do NOT use.

A friend recommend me to Casper from Lian Interior whom revamped my home within my budget. Throughout the entire process, from start to handover, despite encountering minor hiccups, his proactive approach ensured timely completion. Murphy was recommended to us by a friend. We did shortlist some other firms ourselves, But we felt that we can communicate well better with murphy as he really know what we wants. Also the planning stage of the renovation was pleasant and we’re very happy with him and felt really pleased. He’s are very transparent with his cost and it was controlled nicely with no additional hidden cost at the end of our renovation. Overall we are really happy with how he managed our project and how our he makes our home into reality. Definitely a designer to be recommended.

We’ve shortlisted a few IDs through online, but our final choice was Lian Interior Pte Ltd as their price were reasonable. The service provided was very prompt and responsive. The team were always reach out to answer our queries. For their design, they knew what we wanted and captured our ideas really well. They managed to complete the project on time as well. And overall, they manage to transform our home into something very different than it previously was and we’re really impressed. It was a good experience working with them.

We went with Lian Interior because their designs were very nice. During our initial discussions with Murphy, we gave him a rough idea of what we wanted, and he gave us a lot of wonderful suggestions. We really love the entire house that he did up for us. It was unique and stylish. The after sales service was also excellent. After we moving in for a few month later, we had a few faulty lights that we bought ourself so We gave him a call on Saturday, and by Monday, they had sent his workers down to take a look. I have recommended them to my friends and I would definitely encourage others to engage their services!

A colleague of mine recommended Murphy after i’ve meet 4-5 interior firms, I decide to go with him. One particular point that stood out for me was that their after-sales service is good. I need a firm who can provide good service, without being defensive. Murphy has definitely achieved that. The renovation was smooth without delays and hiccups. Overall it was really a good exprience working with him and the way he handle thing is very professional. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a interior designer with good knowledge and professional with a peace of mind.

Murphy was Recommended by my wife. It was our first-time renovating our home and Murphy has been helpful throughout the process. We were clueless as to what we wanted to do but Murphy took the effort to understand our lifestyle before coming up with the design proposal for us.
