We engaged William from DeExclusive as our ID for our 4 room resale renovation. It was a pleasant journey overall. From the first meetup, William was very reassuring, straightforward and approachable. Although we met other IDs after meeting him, we still felt that William was the best person for the job. He is not pushy and think in our shoes as home owners. He is well aware of our budget and make recommendations that are sensible. There were a few times where we requested for some things which were not suitable for our home, but William was patient and upfront enough to highlight the pros and cons of such decisions. He is definitely no “Yes Man”. He is very responsive and quick to resolve problems. Whenever we had doubts or enquiries on the renovation, he is just a call or message away. Sometimes we would just leave a text message reminding him of something that is not so urgent. The next thing we know, he called us a few minutes after to address our concerns. The renovation was done quite quickly as well, everything went rather smoothly. Our whole renovation took about 2 months which is exactly what he promised us. Overall, he was able to meet our expectations and also budget, and it was a wonderful experience as first time home owners with no prior knowledge to home design and renovation. Would definitely recommend William to my family and friends who are looking for a reliable ID!

Professionalism, Responsiveness, Punctuality, Value Long overdue review of De Exclusive Interior. Initially we engage Eleven Teo as our ID. However due to some issue with her family, she is replaced by William. William come onboard to finialse all the detail on the day of our key collection. During the start of the renovation (February 2023), William also update us frequently on the progress and any issue occurred. The renovation suppose to complete in 10 weeks however William manage to ask his contractor to complete in 8 weeks. As a result we are able to move in early before i fly off for business trip. The workmanship of their contractors are not so bad. I personally feel the vinyl floor is very well done. On the other hand, I also feel De Exclusive lack the experience of colour matching. All the colour of our house have to be chosen by ourselves. Last but not least, many thanks to William for a shorter renovation timeframe.

Shafir and Shuyi Me n my wife got our first home n wanted it to be renovated into a spacious n modern concept .We had a hard time getting for IDs as we got our keys during CNY period. Eventually, we found William from DeExclusive company through the company’s Instagram page and the day we met him he impressed us with his ideas to renovate our new home . William is a very friendly and respectful character. He gives us clear explanation and detailed information of everything he is doing so we have no doubt that our new home going to be our dream home. He will update me time to time regarding what’s happening even though I couldn’t be there during the renovation period. We were really happy with his work n we got our Dream home as what we wanted. Once again, thank you so much William.

Through Qanvast, we met with several IDs to guage our overall comfort level in working with them to design my 1st home. With William/De Exclusive, we found a person who was responsive and responsible, who was able to share his experience with us and advise us what to do and what not to do. Most importantly, we were able to get along very well with him. The post-reno service was also excellent as certain works were carried out promptly after we highlighted to him. Overall, we were very pleased to have found William to handle our renovation!

We were introduced to our ID, Eleven Teo, by a friend. She was the first ID we talked to, and the one we settled on after visiting more than 10 other firms. Right from the start, Eleven showed experience, sincerity, and dedication. She was honest with us the entire way, helping us to get the best quality while saving costs. She was with us the entire way—we lost count how many meetings we’ve had with her, from discussing the quotation, design, to picking tiles and laminated. She has also personally dropped by countless times during the reno period, till the very last day of touch ups. What truly impressed us was how hands on she was. Every time she visited the site, we will get her hands dirty and get in on the action with the contractors, or clean up some dirt. On the last day of touch ups, she personally did some of it herself, and that showed her dedication and attention to detail and quality. Don’t be fooled by this smiley, cheery petite lady—she gets really stern when enforcing quality from her contractors—which we appreciated so much. Eleven provided impeccable advice in the design, was truly an amazing ID. While we’ve heard so many nightmare stories of terrible IDs, even contractors told us “you’re lucky to have such an ID” when we share her countless deeds. We are sad that our project has ended with her, but are extremely happy to have her do up our beautiful home. Eleven Teo is an ID to be trusted, and if you value responsiveness and dedication in your ID, she’s definitely the top choice.

Thanks Eleven for the great job done to our home. She is really patient, prompt and provided us with great support and advice. She helped us to rush our renovation to ensure that our house is ready in time so that we have a roof to stay. She also went down on-site to check on the renovation and provided regular updates for our house. Would definitely recommend her to my friends if they require ID services! Thank you Eleven!

This is our first time doing renovation. We are so glad that we found Nicole as our ID. She is very experienced and creative. She knew exactly what we wanted right from the start. Thanks to her, our renovation experience was a breeze. Our dream home is finally ready!!! Can't wait to see the photographs that Qanvast took. I would definitely recommend De Exclusive Design Group to everybody. Pick Nicole and you won't go wrong.

With Qanvast's help, we were recommended 4 IDs based on our budget, theme, layout etc. De Exclusive happened to be the first one we met. Lo and behold, Nicole went above and beyond right from the very first meeting. She spent 3 full hours with us and she really took time to understand our needs, our wishlists (wants: like how I loved Arches) and understood our daily activities (or daily movement flow) so she knew where the carpentries should be placed. We did meet a total of 8 IDs, but Nicole, being the first and the best ID who set the benchmark so high, easily threw competition out of the window. The 3 things that made us choose her eventually: 1. Chemistry - it was so important that we could clique with Nicole and communicate easily on anything at all that we liked/disliked throughout the renovation and Nicole was always there to help us rectify or celebrate the mini milestones with us throughout. 2. Ideas - a lot of the other IDs we met were unable to provide their own ideas to challenge and improve our mood boards/Pinterest ideas. Nicole was honest that she was not very familiar with the "boho-chic/eccentric/earthy/woody vibes" we were going for but she took up the challenge with so much confidence and even put in her own ideas on how we can spice our home interior even more aesthetically. She really went above and beyond in ensuring we also knew what we were going to sign for by rendering 3Ds in the earlier stages of our meet-ups. 3. Quotation - she could give us all that we wanted and more almost within the budget that we set. The final quotation did go slightly above the initial budget but was understandable due to unforeseen external circumstances based on the old home's condition. Ultimately, her professionalism in work and how she managed her limited number of workers through the covid-19 Malaysia lockdown times was very very much appreciated. She ensured jobs were still done regardless of the external situation. Timeline: December 2021 - May 2022 -- definitely met the timeline and am grateful that she was rushing it out for us so we could start hosting people just in time for Hari Raya visits. The overall workmanship was superb, solid, and more importantly soooo beautiful! We've gotten way too many praises during all the Hari Raya open houses. Thank you so much Nicole you've done such an amazing job and it was a breeze working with you!!

We had a tight timeline (6weeks after less PH) for the reno and Nicole had given us the confidence to work with her company. Her price may not be the lowest but her suggestions sounded more practical than the other IDs. She worked closely with us to ensure the designs meet our needs and are able to overcome many last mins issues. We like that she is fast in getting back to us and work towards in ensuring we are satisfied with the work. We will grade A for her service but for the carpentry work, we feel there is room for improvement. Nevertheless in the end Nicole got her carpenter back to rectify the problem. As for an area that Nicole could improve on - we hope Nicole could have spent more time on site to supervise the work progress as once the workers accidentally removed the curtain bracket. That gave us a headache to think of way installing curtain. Overall it is a job well done in meeting our timeline and budget. Nicole is very friendly and creative. Thumbs up to her service 👍

William has been very responsive and shown great patience through out my renovation Journey. Even after post renovation, he continues to be responsive to address any issues. He is also a experienced ID, able to recommend and answer any doubts with clear honest feedback. He is resourceful as well to help provide sources of furnitures, sanitary and electrical fittings with great variety. If you want to engage a trustworthy and practical ID, look no further.

I had spoken to more than 10 IDs and went with De Exclusive because of their attention to details, quality of carpentry in the showroom and their positive attitude. William is our project manager and he is super responsive to our questions, addressed all our needs and concerns, and delivered earlier than we expected despite the shortage of labour supply. He would update us with videos/ photos even without being asked so we are rest assured the renovation is on track. I asked for lots of lots of storage space and he managed to fully utilize every corner and make our space really efficient. When we asked for changes during the renovation, he would always try his best to accommodate. The workmanship is great, initially there were some flaws on the door alignment but William managed to fix it on time. William is the most patient ID and he could read our mind - which makes him a great designer and project manager. He is also able to keep to our budget and timeline with a very reasonable price. I do not recommend De Exclusive Interior for your house renovations. We have nightmare experiences with the project management, quality of work and failed in promises. The project Manager (Justin) is not experienced in renovation field of work and is not meticulous for details. The Team Leader (Eleven) is always not on site. Firstly, we awarded the job to De Exclusive Interior as they assured us that the work would be completed within our timeline. However, the completion was delayed by almost a month and we have to shift in to our new house when the renovation is mostly incomplete and still in progress. We have to shift in in a non-habitable condition as the places are dusty, messy and we cannot unpack our clothes and other items. Secondly, the depth of the wardrobe is about 2 inches shorter than what was told. You can see from the photo that the sleeves of our shirt protrude out of the wardrobe. When the doors of the wardrobe are closed, the sleeves will be wrinkled. Thirdly, the height of the kitchen cabinet is too high because they did not factor in the cement base. As a result, it is difficult to do cooking because the height of the wok would be too high after installing the cooking stove. In-addition, before we award the contract to De Exclusive Interior, the De Exclusive Interior’s team told us and assured us that De Exclusive Interior have their own team of carpenters. It was later that we discovered that they out-sourced the carpentry work to a company called KL Carpentry. And to make things worst, the KL carpentry company further out-sourced to a freelance contractor. As a result, the quality of work is really bad and full of errors. Instructions from us to De Exclusive Interior is passed to Kl Carpentry and KL Carpentry passed to freelance contractor. On top of the above, we also experienced issues with the flooring work, which was part of the renovation contract to De Exclusive Interior, resulting in the need for disruptive rectifications (we have to take leave and deal with dusty work) work over 2 times to resolve the issue of floor unevenness. In summary, we really regretted appointing De Exclusive Interior
