We had a great experience with New Chapter Design, so much so that they took on two projects. Both Kerni and Spencer worked very well as a team, especially Spencer who oversaw our second project. He displayed dedication, attention to details, provided a lot of very excellent suggestions for our place. They are not pushy, but listened to our needs and would suggest accordingly. Even for things not within their scope like recommendations for certain suppliers, they would recommend to us for our consideration and comparison. We loved the very regular updates provided by Spencer during the project period, showing how accountable he is to the project. When a mistake was made by his contractor, he would quickly fix it when pointed out. We would readily recommend this Interior Designer! Open and transparent! Keep it up! Our pictures are not completed as we have yet to settle in!

I met up with five interior designers for my 5-room HDB resale. I decided to go with Spencer because, not only did he try his best to work within the budget, he was excited about the project and full of ideas on how the renovation should go. Spencer was an experienced designer and gave great ideas on the design of my study room and wardrobes of the bedrooms. He also advised on the layout of the kitchen cabinet so that it still looks spacious even after we converted part of the kitchen into a dining area. He helped me to cut down on unnecessary spending (like retaining the main doors and the windows instead of changing them). Due to the CNY season, we only have one month to complete a major overhaul of the old HDB, yet he was able to complete it on time so what we could move in on schedule. He was an on-the-ground person, and updated me on the progress of the project almost everyday during the earlier part of the renovation when there's a lot of major work. He also put up with some of my fastidious requests, and was willing to spend time discussing through my requests in detail. Throughout the renovation, Spencer was quick to act on changes on our oiriginal plan. Even after the we moved in, Spencer was quick and responsive to rectifications and changes. He is someone I will continue to work with for future changes I want to do for my home. Appreciate the effort he has put into making my home a beautiful place!

Recently, we did our daughter's room renovations by engaging the ID services of New Chapter Design Pte Ltd. We were very pleased with the concept and design proposed by Jayy Loh who is the Lead Designer of the company. The materials used were of good quality and the workmanship was to our expectations. The finishing output of result was delivered as promised which we were very satisfied overall. Jayy is flexible and accommodating to our requests despite there were some challenging issues that needed to be addressed on a couple of occasions. I would recommend New Chapter Design if anyone is sourcing around for a reliable ID.

Kerni is a very friendly and easy going ID, hence it was a joy working with her. She was very proactive, solving any issues that we highlighted along the way and advised us based on our preferred design. This allowed the entire process to be very smooth without much hiccups. She was also very creative in providing ideas to beautify our place holistically. Worksmenship of her men were also of acceptable quality, ensuring that there is no requirement for re-do or touch up of the Reno items.

Throughout the renovation process, from idea generation to selection of materials to actual works, Owen offered sound and professional advice. He was responsive to queries and patient in walking through the ideas and explaining what are the pros and cons in making certain choices. He was also very good in his recommendation in the selection of materials to match the theme. The timeline for the project was a rather short yet he managed to deliver the house in time for us to shift in. We are very pleased with the design of the house.

Came across few IDs , some are quite "Pushy type" & Impatient. Lucky for us, we meet Kerni. She always listen to patiently & attentively to our request & will able to produce new design for us to choose. Knowing that we had a tight budget. She has tried ways of cutting the cost without effecting the quality of work! It has been a great pleasure working with her. Thanks for the helping us in building our dream home! Most importantly, she has work within our tight budget & Schedule!! Great Job, Kerni !

Thanks to Lead DesignerJayy from New Chapter Designs for renovating our first home. Jayy is creative yet practical and functional in her designs. She is experienced and prompt to answering our queries. Having already established a good relationship with her vendors and contractors made our reno experience smooth and fuss free. Workmanship of her contractors are good. Jayy is a trusted ID and we recommend her!

Jayy is the only and last ID i met. You can have full confidence in engaging Jayy as he is a walking design encyclopedia, full of designer characteristic and ideas. Armed with a decade experience in this field, needless to say he will provide a smooth journey for your renovation process and the sub contractors are all very familiar with each other that allows them to work hand in hand as a whole team. We engaged New Chapter Design/Owen Kho for our newly purchased condo in Holland Village area. Owen has met our expectations in terms of design concept and delivery timing although he was given a short lead time of about 2 months, even though it was close to year end that period. The overall experience was pleasant and we will recommend any new owners to consider their design concept, especially if you are looking for extraordinary designs.

It was a pleasant experience working with Owen Kho from New Chapter Design. Owen was not pushy from the first time we met him. He understood what we wanted, and we loved his great ideas. He was accomodating and was readily available when ever we needed him through out our experience. Owen made sure that every detail was met, and we never had to compromise on the quality and the end product of his work; if we werent happy, he wasnt and rectification would be done. Kerni is great and provides lots of idea during the initial consultation stage. She listens attentively and try her best to visualize what we wanted and reproduced it for us. We like it that she pay attentions to details and coordinated the color scheme of the entire place as well as put in the effort to match the condo's existing furnishing. What we like most is the minimal effort in our part once the renovation started as she will manage the entire process, from start till end. She's also responsive to feedback and changes that we had along the way. Overall, the workmanship of the carpentry works (wear and tear after 2 years of staying is considered very minimal) as well as the glass works (we certainly have alot) is top notch. Most importantly, she keeps the project within regulatory requirements! Budget wise, she managed to stay within our budget and still deliver. Unlike other IDs that I've went to, there were no hidden charges from her initial quotes, what you see is what you get. It's been 2 years since our renovation and we are till keeping in touch with Kerni as well as reaching out if we need any addition works (add-ons) done.
