Elton took up my one-bedder project despite it being a rather small one (for context, most of the bigger ID firms get the junior / not so good IDs to take up small project prospects). Elton was really proactive from the get go, putting in effort to come over to my house to take measurements and even picturing the placement of fixtures even before we decided to engage him. Throughout the entire renovation journey, he has been super prompt in answering my questions and also following up on any rectifications needed. He has definitely made my entire renovation journey as smooth as possible, and any hiccups were quickly addressed by him. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to start on their renovation journey.

We engaged Irwin as our ID to renovate our 4-room flat and we are very happy with the whole experience. From the start, Irwin was extremely friendly and approachable, never pushy, and always made us feel comfortable sharing our ideas. He listened patiently to our needs and preferences, and offered thoughtful suggestions along the way. Throughout the renovation, Irwin paid close attention to the details, ensuring that every part of the work was carried out to a high standard. His dedication to making sure everything was done properly really gave us peace of mind. We had a great experience working with Yang Hann from Space Atelier. As first-time homeowners, we appreciated how practical and thoughtful his recommendations were. One notable example was while others were quick to propose building a partition wall, Yang Hann took the time to understand our space and our design intentions — he offered a much more practical alternative that worked beautifully. Throughout the renovation process, Yang Hann was consistently very responsive and proactively resolved issues that came up. Thanks to his attention to detail, we’ve had no major hiccups / surprises. Renovation experience with Space Atelier was a detailed and earnest one. Kent met up with me to go through my requirements and past quotations that I have got but being a 1st time homemaker, I wasn't sure of what to look out for and how to renovate in a practical way that won't burn a big hole in my pocket. Along the way, Kent guided me on every process and phase of the renovation, even preempting me on many blind spots that previous home makers may have met. Even though mine was just a small 2 room flat, Kent treated this project the same like any others and is always responsive to my queries and rectifications in my home issues. To conclude, Kent and Irwin are a great team to rely and count on if you require a trustworthy home ID to take care of the arduous renovation journey!

We chose Yuan Fai from Space Atelier after shortlisting two other ID firms. Not the cheapest option but felt the best synergy with him. Had a little reservation about his ability to control the workers as Yuan Fai is very soft spoken and always wears a smile. But do not be deceived by his appearance as he skilfully managed the project to ensure everything was put together according to his plan. He is also a very detail-oriented ID who always go out of his way to ensure our concerns are promptly addressed. Of course not everything went smoothly throughout my renovation but i was very impressed with his problem solving ability! My family is very satisfied with the final product put together by their carpenters and workmanship is good. I think Yuan Fai's commitment in seeing through the project and ensuring everything is properly done makes him standout among other IDs I worked with previously. Kudos to YF and thank you for making my home feels brand new once again!

Elton Low is one of the most patient and good natured person I have met. I engaged in Space Atelier's service through Qanvast and Elton was assigned to me by his company. So I didn't know him from before. But even at the first meeting, his sincerity in helping was evident, patiently listening to my requirements and wishes. Take for example, I had wanted to install a ventilator in my kitchen (which lacks a window). Although Elton had not done it before, he was willing to take up the challenge. After adjusting our plans because of some building structure restrictions and my own taste for aesthetics, he came up with a viable proposal. But in the end, it seemed unavoidable to have to open an extra panel in my corridor ceiling for future maintenance and so I didn't proceed. Despite me changing my mind finally, Elton was supportive and understood my thinking. There are so many instances in which Elton was helpful in managing and seeing through the renovation. His carpentry team's workmanship was of high standard under his careful supervision, e.g. the specific dimensions of my altar table was accurately produced as required. The shoe cabinet outside the front door earned praise from my neighbour for its practicality and design! Elton also took charge of coordinating the painting, electrical works, installations of lights, fans, curtains, zip blinds, and window solar film. His team even helped with detailed tasks like mounting a full-length mirror and a wall clock after the main renovation was finished. Most importantly, he and his team did all these always with a smile! Many of the installed items (but not all) were sourced from reliable stores that Elton has familiarity with: Elton is a resource for folks like me who don't pay attention to such businesses usually. Before you think that he monopolised my purchases, you should know that I also bought my own robot vacuum cleaner, adjustable work desk and dining chairs after he had helped me source for these items. So at no point did I feel pressured to go along with his suggestions. When I patronised those stores that Elton shared with me, it was because I felt the stores had items of good quality and taste. Of course, the budget is always everyone's unspoken constraint and that is the thing that constrains my decision in the end! And on this aspect, Elton has been helpful as well, advising on what I could leave out and how I could achieve the same with less "renovating". Finally, one might think from the praises above that Elton and his team’s work is _unbelievably_ impeccable. That is not my message here. A wise friend once said, “if you require renovation to be perfect, you will never be satisfied.” With this in mind, what I look out for in the renovation is how fast and how well the contractor rectify the issues which inevitably arise. Luckily, there are not many of these issues! One instance is when my bookshelf arrived with six shelves instead of seven that I had wanted. But without any excuses, Elton had his carpenter come and fix the problem, after I had given him instructions on how to redistribute the shelves. Another instance is when I found the storage cabinet shelves too thin to bear heavy weight. So Elton had them changed to twice the thickness without hesitation. A final example is an electrical socket that came out of its wall attachment (as the wall was quite “flaky”). Elton arranged for his electrician to come fix the problem promptly. Therefore, all in all, I would rate Elton and his team’s work highly. Working with him to renovate my new place has been an overall pleasant experience. I wish him and his company good business!

Last year, we consulted several interior designers, but not all were as open-minded and collaborative as Francis. He stood out by genuinely listening to our ideas and vision for our home, making us feel heard and valued throughout the process. Francis is exceptionally skilled at transforming our concepts into detailed computer floorplan drawings, allowing us to visualise the final design immediately. His ability to blend our ideas with his expertise is impressive—he offered excellent suggestions on textures, materials, and design elements that perfectly complemented our vision. Beyond his creativity, Francis is prompt, resourceful, and highly accommodating. He takes immense pride in his work, ensuring every detail is meticulously executed. We are very satisfied with the end product, including the high-quality materials used and the seamless follow-up by his team to ensure everything was perfect.

Our experience with Space Atelier has been really pleasant. Their engaged contractors are extremely professional and consistently deliver on quality. The fact that we have some external installers complimenting on things like the quality of the carpentry produced speaks volume. However, what really stands out is the calibre of the IDs they have. I have to say.. we were really lucky to have Yang Hann assigned as our ID. In the design phase, Yang Hann was quick to understand all our requirements and desired end product. As such, the very first render produced already matches exactly to our expectations. As the renovation progressed, there were several hiccups along the way but Yang Hann was quick to address all of them. His ability to think out of the box for solutions and explaining things in layman terms was really helpful for first time home owners like us. But perhaps the most impressive point about Yang Hann is his responsiveness. Never once had he failed to respond to our messages and almost all the time, he replies instantly. We will definitely recommend Yang Hann and Space Atelier to anyone starting out in their renovation journey.

It's our 2nd time engaging Yang Hann from Space Atelier for renovation of my parent's BTO this time (first time was for my own home) and we are very pleased with the workmanship especially for the carpentry. Yang Hann was able to turn my ideas into reality without needing much elaboration and was very responsive throughout the entire renovation process. Although Space Atelier wasn't the cheapest ID out of many quotations I received, their quality is value for money. Would definitely engage them again for my next renovation!

Similar to all 1st time reno home owners, I was very afraid in getting the wrong ID or bad ID or non responsive or fly kite ID. But engaging San Ng was the exact opposite of my fears. During the early stage of choosing ID, no doubt his quote was not the cheapest, but having said that, cheapest was never my consideration. The key is within budget. After about looking through no less than 10 IDs, San Ng emerged as our no.1 choice. The main reason was we felt that we are able to communicate with him, personally i feel communication is the key to every single thing, and Reno is especially more important. And of course his design and experience check all boxes. During the design stage, I was expecting it to be a simple 3D picture drawing. But little did I know, i was given a 3D virtual tour drawing where I can seamlessly see the whole layout of my house easily. San was patient in answering my queries and his response was quick and fast, sometimes his worried that I didn't get what he meant and he will initiate a call to explain things up better. As its my first time reno-ing, I heavily rely on him on the design of the house, colour matching and etc.. we weren't very sure exactly what we want and gave very vague feelings and ideas of what we are looking for, but slowly as we did several iteration meetings, we managed to nail the mold of our house thanks to San guiding us along patiently and answering all my Noob questions. During the reno stage, he assisted me in managing and answering my external vendors professionally and helped me fix some of the problems I faced. What I was impressed was that when we somehow faced with a installation limitation, he proposed a workaround for us which increased the aesthetic of the feel at a perhaps higher cost, but San wanted this project to be beautiful and he is willing to absorb the cost to a certain extend, thus helping me to make the decision and I felt that my ID is with me in this reno journey as he does care about my house. All in all, like all reno diaries that i read, there will be hiccups here and there, but San display professionalism, replacing/fixing/proposing ideas that will help in fixing it. Of course, as owners we need to have an open mind and willingness to communicate and accept things. In the end, my house ended off to the look and feel that me and my wife wants. And we are genuinely very happy with the work done. Will like to express our deepest thanks and wishes to San for making our 1st home warm and with Love. I have no doubt that in my 2nd home, I will look to engage San again if his still around in the industry or recommend him to my friends and relatives.
