We are repeated clients of Wein! We love his creativity and attention to details. We greatly appreciate both him and his partner Grace's efforts to help us design a beautiful home within our budget. They went the extra mile to help us to refurbish our old dining room ceiling light by checking with multiple lighting specialists so that installation would be safe and suited for our home. That extra touch is what we appreciate the most of Notion of W.

My first time renovating my own house and I am glad we chose Grace from Notion of W as our ID. She listens and understands our preference and needs from the get go. She is experience, professional and patient. Although we have done our research and Pinterest a lot, Grace managed to surprise us with her design. The design is unique yet practical and it completely matches our style. I think she knows what we want better than us. The carpentry is also worth mentioning. The “头手” uncle is experience; we hardly find any fault in the carpentry, workmanship is good! The delivery has been prompt; 2 months to complete the renovation. Overall, it was an enjoyable reno experience! :)

We engaged Grace as our interior designer, and from our very first meeting to the handover of our home, it was a truly wonderful journey. Grace took the time to listen to us, understand our lifestyle and vision, and transformed our ideas into a home that reflects who we are. Her creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail stood out at every stage. The workmanship was excellent, and the final result exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful to Grace for creating a space that feels both beautiful and uniquely ours.

Renovation is always challenging, even more so when you remain in residence. We wanted to update only the kitchen of our HDB Maisonette while in residence so we weren't sure if it was doable. Wein of NOW sat down with us to discuss our needs, asking important questions about lifestyle to get a feel of the level of daily functionality needed. Various general approaches were pitched and evaluated before a design concept was picked. More importantly, practical details such as what was being stored in specific cupboards and drawers were discussed to ensure the doors swung to the correct side. Or that cooking utensils were within arm's reach of the stove etc. Specific lighting needs, and in turn, fixtures and wall finishes were not left out. The execution was as meticulous with the timing of workmen on site given we were still in residence was coordinated as well as could be expected with requested changes addressed as much as possible. And of course, the finished product met expectations. Were there hiccups? Of course, what renovation project were challenge free? But the team at NOW in my very did its best to manage the challenges. I have engaged ID and renovation teams on at least 4 occasions through the years and I can say with some confidence that NOW delivered the best finished product and experience. It is now just over a year since the project was completed and there were small niggly issues that cropped up. Wein promptly provided support through vendors to get them resolved. That is valuable. Can you get similar jobs done cheaper? No doubt. But with the same peace of mind that the end result and follow up service is there after the tools are cleared? I would recommend Wein, Grace and his network of vendors and contractors.

We had the honour of engaging Wein and Grace to refurbish our resale flat after a period of 7 years rented out with the intention to move in for our own stay. It started off with a site visit to discuss the items to be done and setting expectations on timeline and the expenses involved. We were so glad that the discussion was really bilateral with great advises coming from Wein and Grace, As owners, we had ideas and thoughts, with some been very 'adventurous' and guess what, Grace and Wein took them well and was able to develop out-of-the-box solutions, on top of providing us soundly advises, just to help us with our dream home. We would rate the 2 of them, no hard selling, great listeners, patience and well co-ordinated to our most comfortable level. Sometimes having heard stories of horrible renovation experiences from friends or families, we feel so very relived to have such great experience with the team under Notion of W.

I decided to contact Wein as I was very satisfied with the previous renovation in 2016. From then till 2022 before I sold my unit, the after service provided by Wein and his team was amazing. Whenever I encountered a problem, he is very willing to assist and help me solve the issue. During my 2nd engagement, I needed the renovation to be completed on time as I was renting a place. His team delivered quality work and enabled my family to move into our new place at ease. There were hiccups along the way however his team help me managed the problems enabling me to focus more on my move into our new home. Once again, I really appreciate the help and support I received from Wein and his team.

Our first meeting with ID Wayne Pung from Notion of W already provided us with much comfort and confidence as he was very patient and professional. He recommended his design to realise our desired Scandinavian theme for our new home, he proposed and explained the renovation works that would take place, the expected and realistic timelines for each scope of work, and what it would entail. He proposed an open concept with a seamless living, dining and kitchen area by demolishing some walls which gave a spacious ambience. He had many practical suggestions for a liveable home and his proposals for paint colours, lighting fixtures, cabinetry, styling of the bathrooms and walk-in wardrobe definitely helped make our home a pleasure for ourselves and for our guests. His promptness in subsequent responses and detailing the points to our many queries also set us at ease that our timeline could be met. Wayne’s eye for design and detail, the responsibilities and capabilities of the contractors and persons that he engaged for our renovations and the high quality of works done were amongst the many plus points on why we were very happy with having selected and engaged his services. We would highly recommend Wayne and Notion of W to anyone looking for an ID that will deliver at a competitive price and on budget. Our renovation experience was a great one with him and his team!

We have the pleasure of having Wayne and Wein design and renovate the house. Wayne is the lead of the whole project and he possesses a remarkable sense of aesthetics-appreciation, responsibility and maturity. He has proven himself to be a very trustworthy and reliable individual, with a keen focus to design/details/colors. He is also awesome in laying out all of the lights and staging it to great effects. Wein listens well and is creative in solutioning. He gives us a lot of comfort in our very first meeting, that he and his partner Wayne can design and create something fabulous for us. We spoke to a few IDs before we decided to go with Wayne & Wein, and am so glad we did. They cleverly maximized the layout of our house to create beautiful living spaces for the whole family, each area with good functionality and aesthetics.

We are grateful that Grace took up our project as she was in the midst of doing up my sister's in Tampines. It was slightly above our initial budget but I could not pass it off as I knew the design will surpass the other IDs we have met. We did not have any design in mind and only showed Grace that we wanted the bulky, antique wooden sofa, dining table and TV console to fit into the theme of the house. True enough, we were pleased with the 3D design that was presented. The process throughout the project was seamless. Grace was accommodating, reliable and ensures the workmanship was on point. She is also resourceful in giving suggestions and lead us to the relevant sources for unique fixtures and accessories. The outcome was impeccable, better than the 3D design. It feels like living in some airbnb overseas. Thanks Grace!
