After comparing several IDs, I decided to engage Forefront for my renovation, and I am very happy with the experience. A special shout-out to my designer, Vic, who made this wonderful experience possible. Vic is extremely attentive and detail-oriented. What I appreciated most was that he always considered practicality, daily usage, and long-term maintenance, rather than focusing solely on aesthetics. For every decision, he patiently explained the pros and cons and offered thoughtful advice, helping me make informed choices throughout the renovation journey. He was also highly responsive and professional whenever I requested changes or explored new ideas along the way. Rather than simply accommodating every request, he would carefully assess how each change might affect the overall design, functionality, and visual flow of the space. He would also share practical considerations that I might not have thought about, allowing me to make better decisions and avoid potential regrets later on. I truly appreciated his willingness to discuss options in detail and his commitment to finding solutions that worked best for my home. I would also like to thank Kate, the project manager. She was organised, responsive, and incredibly patient. She kept me updated on the progress, reminded me of important dates and appointments, and followed up closely on various matters. I never had to worry about missing anything or constantly chasing for updates. The Forefront team was professional and reliable throughout the project. Renovation can be stressful, but Vic and Kate made the process surprisingly smooth and gave me a great sense of peace of mind. Most importantly, the final outcome is both beautiful and practical, which is exactly what I wanted for my home. We met with 5–6 firms before deciding on Forefront Interior. From our very first meeting, Ranen impressed us by coming up with a floor plan after understanding our lifestyle, preferences, and needs. We connected easily and felt confident in his ideas and approach. Throughout the renovation, Ranen was patient, receptive to feedback, and always willing to make adjustments when needed. Despite several public holidays during the renovation period, the project was completed efficiently and within a reasonable timeframe. We are impressed with JL’s design and services, as we can’t always expect perfect job, they are always patient and willing to go extra mile to make adjustment during post renovation without any qualm. They take pride and accountability in their work, it is definitely a breeze working with them and I would definitely recommend them to my friends!

We engaged Gabriel as our interior designer, and the entire journey has been comfortable, smooth, and worry-free from start to finish. Admittedly, some may feel that the price point is on the higher side, but we strongly believe that our home is a significant investment, and we wanted someone who is accountable, responsible, and trustworthy to oversee the process. To us, it was worth paying a little extra for the peace of mind and quality of service—much like dining at Haidilao, where you pay for the experience and service you receive. One of the things we appreciated most about Gabriel was how reassuring and dependable he was throughout the project. He was always accommodating, even when we had last-minute appointments or changes to our schedule. Whenever we encountered challenges or had concerns, Gabriel consistently provided practical solutions and took the time to walk us through them in detail. Not to mention, our capable Eugene, has also been incredibly responsible and responsive throughout the renovation process. I met a few IDs before engaging Cherlyn. After meeting her for the first time, she was very friendly, approachable, and genuinely took the effort to understand what I wanted for my home. Even before I officially engaged her, she was already actively sharing ideas and doing her homework, which gave me confidence that she was sincere and passionate about the project. During the renovation process, there were naturally some hiccups along the way. That said, I appreciate that the firm’s operations person (Ben) was very responsive in providing alternative solutions and willing to take responsibility when issues arose, which made the overall experience much smoother. Overall, the renovation journey was still a satisfying one, and most importantly, I’m happy with how the final outcome turned out. Thank you to the team for the effort throughout the process.

Only the best things to say about IDs - Gabriel and Yve. They were life saviours to new homeowners like us who had no clue on how to start this whole renovation process. They turned each meetings into meaningful sessions with their knowledge, especially helpful for clueless people (like us) who only watches TikTok for home inspirations. They were very patient throughout the whole process, especially when inevitable hiccups happened. And did I mentioned that their moodboard was on point from the beginning, and the whole house was functional at the same time. They consistently check in and upgraded the whole design with functionality in mind as well. The Google review can’t fit all our praises but it was in summary, a very pleasant experience for us. My family had a very good experience working with Vic and Sanyi from Forefront Interior Pte Ltd. They are professional, patient, and knowledgeable in both design and materials. There are prompt to answer and see to my questions and needs, even after working hours. They took time to understand our needs and shared many useful ideas and design concepts that suited our lifestyle. Communication was smooth, and they were always responsive throughout the renovation process. During the different stages, never have I felt unsecured or anxiety in the promised deadline given to us. We are very happy with the final result and truly appreciate their effort and dedication. They will go all out to fulfill even when we nitpicked during the final viewing. We engaged Forefront Interior and our ID, JT, together with project manager Samuel, for the full gut renovation of our 40-year-old resale home, involving complete hacking and rebuilding works. Given the age of the property, there were many hidden challenges along the way — from old electrical wiring and plumbing issues to structural beam constraints that required careful planning and coordination. From our very first meeting, JT gave us confidence with his practical yet well-thought-out space planning ideas. As the unit had an older layout, maximising the liveable space was very important to us, and JT was able to propose solutions that were both functional and aesthetically pleasing. What stood out most throughout the renovation was JT’s responsiveness and close follow-up. No matter how small the question or issue was, he was always prompt in replying and updating us. Renovation works inevitably come with unexpected problems, especially in older houses, but JT never appeared flustered and approached every issue methodically. He was also flexible in offering alternative solutions and practical workarounds whenever needed. The overall project was also well planned in terms of timeline and coordination. Despite the complexity of the renovation, the end result was delivered within the promised timeline and closely matched the design vision discussed from the start. Even after handover, JT continued to provide prompt after-sales support and follow-up for minor rectifications, which we really appreciated. Overall, working with JT felt less like dealing with an ID and more like having a reliable friend with whom we could openly discuss ideas and issues. We are very happy with the outcome and would gladly recommend Forefront Interior, JT, and Samuel to anyone looking for a responsible, responsive, and dependable renovation team.

Before renovations even began, my husband and I would rave about Wilfred to our family and friends whenever someone asked how our journey was going. Now that it’s over, I’m incredibly happy to say that the praises are far from over. We had a wonderful experience with Wilfred, Eugene, and all of Forefront’s suppliers. From our very first call with him, Wilfred caught us by surprise with how intentional he was in his approach. He came with questions, not statements, taking the time to understand us, our lifestyles, and our desires for the space in as much detail as possible. It became clear that he prioritised listening to what mattered most to us. As first-time homeowners, this was the moment we knew we could trust Wilfred to build our home with us. When renovations kicked off, we discovered that he’s also a keen problem-solver. On multiple occasions, he supported our decision-making process by reminding us of what we valued and encouraging us to focus on options that aligned with those priorities. This open, two-way communication kept the journey enjoyable. We felt like we’d hit the jackpot once with Wilfred as our ID, but in reality, we struck gold again with Eugene as our Project Manager. Eugene was detail-oriented and consistent in how he managed the project. From timelines to supplier coordination to homeowner communication, he kept everything running smoothly. There were even moments when we flagged something to him, and he would quickly respond that he had already noted it and arranged for the necessary suppliers to come down and rectify it. As if this team hadn’t already set the bar high, we were also amazed by the excellent team of suppliers that Forefront partners with. We’d especially like to give a shoutout to the Head Carpenter, who took the time to listen to us and design the carpentry with our needs in mind, not just what was convenient or easy. Through this process, we learned that the renovation journey truly comes with highs and lows. As homeowners, we are all in pursuit of making a place our own. The beautiful thing is that we get to choose who will go through that rollercoaster journey with us. We would like to thank Scott (our ID) and Junyi (site coordinator) for making this journey smooth and manageable, especially given how stressful renovations can be. From the start, communication was clear and responsive, and we never had to chase for updates. One thing that stood out to us was how Scott respected our ideas and preferences. Unlike some IDs we’ve heard about, he didn’t impose his own design style but instead worked together with us to achieve what we wanted. They also truly went above and beyond—Scott personally helped to carry and match tiles around the showroom so we didn’t have to make multiple trips. This kind of effort really made a difference and showed their commitment. The final outcome matched what was promised and aligned with the design plans. The entire renovation was completed within the agreed timeline (around 1.5 months for a full overhaul), which we found very impressive. While there are touch-ups here and there, it was handled promptly when raised. Pricing was transparent throughout, with no unexpected costs, and any concerns we had were addressed quickly and responsibly. Most importantly, they made us feel comfortable throughout the process. We never felt paiseh to ask questions or request changes, and they always did their best to accommodate us. Overall, we would definitely recommend Forefront, especially Scott and Junyi, to homeowners looking for a reliable, responsive, and easy-to-work-with team.

Any hiccups were managed efficiently, and we were kept well-informed throughout, including early notice on delays such as material lead times during peak periods. Overall, our home was delivered as expected, and we are very satisfied with the results. More than just a renovation, they’ve helped turn our vision into a space we genuinely look forward to coming home to every single day.
